What happened yesterday in Idaho is a horrific tragedy. A 20-year-old deranged lunatic started a brush fire in order to lure first responders, then opened fire with his gun. Two firefighters lost their lives, and many others were injured. Now, law enforcement has released the identities of those two firefighters who were killed yesterday. They are Kootenai County Fire & Rescue Chief Frank Harwood and Coeur d’Alene Battalion Chief John Morrison. A third firefighter was also critically injured in the shooting, and he is currently recovering in the hospital. His name is Dave Tysdal: Dave Tysdal is a fire engineer in Idaho. He’s in the hospital in critical condition after being ambushed and shot at by a psycho. He was married, had two children and was a former Army National Guard combat engineer. Harwood was a leader who “did an amazing job” and was well respected, Way added. John Morrison, 52: Morrison served with the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department for more than 28 years and moved up the ranks in his department from firefighter to battalion chief, according to Coeur d’Alene Fire Chief Tom Greif. A colleague shared his final memory with Morrison during Monday’s press conference recalling a time when the pair smoked cigars during a rare lull at the fire station. “We talked about being better fathers, we talked about being better leaders, talked about being better firefighters,” said Gabe Eckert, President of the Coeur d’Alene Firefighter’s union. “These guys were hard workers. They loved their families,” Eckert added. Dave Tysdal, 47: An engineer with the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department, Tysdal is recovering after undergoing two surgeries following the attack on firefighters in Idaho on Sunday, according to Fire Chief Tom Greif. Tysdal has been an engineer with the fire department for 23 years, Grief said. “We thank everyone for their love and support,” a family statement read by Greif said. “Dave is surrounded by his family, and he is able to open his eyes and the two surgeries have gone well.” Please pray for the families of these fallen firefighters in this time of mourning. In the latest episode of Miranda Devine’s “Pod Force One” podcast, Homan said Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have also located minors who were forced into servitude on ranches and chicken farms, as the agency searches for hundreds of thousands of migrant children unaccounted for during President Joe Biden’s four-year illegal alien invasion. “There were 300,000 missing children under the last administration,” said Homan. “We’ve found thousands of them … We rescued victims of sex trafficking [and] two weeks ago, we rescued a 14-year-old that was already pregnant, living with adult men … “We rescued some victims of forced labor. Time for a new political party that actually cares about the people,” Musk wrote on social platform X, which he owns. The tech billionaire, whose close relationship with Trump quickly devolved into a public clash earlier this month month, has blasted Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” as “utterly insane” and “political suicide” for the GOP. Amid his tiff with Trump, Musk had previously launched a poll asking X users whether the country needed a new faction for political nominees; he then floated the idea of “The America Party” to “represent the 80% in the middle.” Musk, before stepping away from the White House last month, was the head of Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), spearheading massive cuts and sweeping changes to the federal government. 'I’ll be curious to see'

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt ripped into socialist New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani on Monday, and Mediaite editor Colby Hall just couldn't figure out why she would attack this new radical face of the Democratic Party. He even failed to identify him as a mayoral candidate, saying he "isn't even in Congress yet." This was the headline:  Karoline Levitt Accuses Zohran Mamdani of ‘Peddling Anti-Semitism’ While Pitching Trump Spending Bill Hall sounded very defensive of that "charming socialist" in New York:  Leavitt, eyes locked on the prompter and smile tight as a drum, veered from policy bullet points into a screed aimed squarely at New York State Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani, calling him “a Democrat Socialist—really a communist—who proudly calls to defund the police … peddles anti-semitism, praises pro-Hamas groups, wants Israel abolished, [and] believes white Americans should not exist.” If that sounds like a Fox News chyron cooked up by AI with a grudge, that’s because it practically is. It's amazing that Hall cannot see the opportunity here for the Trump White House to pin Mamdani's radicalism on the Democratic Party in general, or even specifically on the New York Democrats, which include Senate Minority Leader Schumer and House Minority Leader Jeffries.  Hall wants to pretend you can't pin anti-semitism on Mamdani, and then he underlines why that makes sense:  Mamdani has been a vocal critic of Israeli policy in Gaza and an advocate for defunding the NYPD. But Leavitt’s comment is more political spin than accepted factual narrative. Critics take issue with Mamdani ostensibly minimizing the attacks on Israeli civilians on October 7th, and his liberal use of the terms “genocide” and “apartheid” to describe Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s treatment of Palestinians. Then it's laughable when he claims the Republicans are bumbling here on the PR front: "In weaponizing Mamdani’s name, Leavitt is arguably handing him a bigger national platform than he’s ever had." What? He did Meet the Press on Sunday, and was interviewed by MSNBC's Jen Psaki and CNN's Erin Burnett before that.   This is the same man who tried to tell us a few weeks ago that Trump-hating reporter Terry Moran is "not a liberal in the slightest." We also address Mamdani spin through the Sunday shows, and how one CNN anchor tried to claim Mamdani may have said he wanted to tax "richer, whiter neighborhoods," but he didn't mean to sound racial.
