Hetfield has also appeared in two Metallica documentaries and a concert film. In “The Thicket,” Peter Dinklage plays Shorty (type casting?), a bounty hunter enlisted to find a woman who has been kidnapped by a killer. Set at the turn of the 20th century, Shorty and his fellow trackers travel into a violent place in West Texas known as the Big Thicket.
