Dog Dad Goes Above & Beyond To Make Potty Time Comfortable For Spoiled Chihuahua

If you think your pet is spoiled, you clearly haven’t seen what this dog dad goes through for his tiny Chihuahua. In a hilarious YouTube video, Serena Stadler shared that her husband has a special wintertime ritual with the small pooch, named Madi. Since this pup doesn’t like going to the bathroom when there’s snow on the ground, Dad has to clear it away just for her! It’s way too funny to see the man using what looks like a leaf blower to prepare the backyard for Madi. Serena caught some excellent footage of her husband creating a snow-free area so that their spoiled Chihuahua could comfortably use the bathroom. However, even after the dog dad had finished uncovering a patch of ground for Madi, his work still wasn’t done. Next, he had to carry the tiny pooch outside and gently place her on the grass! Meanwhile, Serena shared that the couple’s other dog, Remi, is the exact opposite of his finicky sister. Although this pooch is also a Chihuahua, he’s not as spoiled when it comes to going outside in the snow. In fact, he actually seems to love running around in the stuff! Mom filmed the little dog having the best time in the winter weather. Serena’s video has received over a million views on YouTube. Commenters praised her husband for going to such great lengths to accommodate the couple’s spoiled Chihuahua. Screengrab from YouTube “He’s a good dog dad!” wrote one user. “Dog dad of the year,” another chimed in. A third added, “Wow setting the bar high we see…. What a hero.” We love pet parents that go the extra mile for their four-legged friends like this! Madi and Remi must feel so incredibly loved. Whether one sports hooves or toes, a mop or a mane, autoimmune uveitis can strike away eyesight equally. A cure for this form of blindness common in horses, but also people, is now undergoing trials that may benefit both. An interdisciplinary team from the Univ. of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, College of Veterinary […] The post Horses and Humans Go Blind for Similar Reasons, So This Medicine Might Cure Both appeared first on Good News Network.

Homemade Granola Bars For Healthy Snacking

Need a healthy breakfast or snack on the go? This homemade granola bar recipe is the perfect solution for your healthy snacking needs!    Homemade Granola Bars These homemade granola bars will have you skipping the snack aisle and opting for this healthy granola bar recipe instead. Keep reading below for the full homemade recipe and happy (healthy) snacking! Ingredients: 1/2 cup raw sugar or brown sugar 1 1/2 cups honey 1/3 cup coconut oil 1/4 tsp. fine sea salt 1 cup 100% all natural crunchy peanut butter 2 tsp. vanilla extract 4 cups crisped rice cereal 2 2/3 cups old fashioned oats 2/3 cups ground flax seed 1/2 – 1 cups mini chocolate chips   Step 1. Mix the oats, crispy rice cereal, and ground flax seed in a large bowl. Stir until well combined. Set aside.   Step 2. Place sauce  pan over medium heat and pour in honey, coconut oil, and sea salt. Bring to a boil. Boil for exactly 1 minute to ensure  that the mixture combines and sugars dissolve. Stir the whole time.   Step 3. Take pan off the heat and add in the crunchy peanut butter and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth. Pour the entire mixture over your bowl of oat/crispy rice cereal mixture. Stir until well combined. Set aside and allow to cool for about 5-8 minutes.   Step 4. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.   Step 5. Pour the granola mixture onto the cookie sheet, spreading mixture out evenly.   Step 6. Tear off another piece of parchment paper about the same size as your cookie sheet and place on top of your granola mixture. Place another cookie sheet over the parchment paper and press down the granola mixture. This will help to compact the granola so that the bars will stay together and not fall apart.   Step 7. Remove the parchment and cookie sheet, and sprinkle chocolate chips over the now flattened granola mixture. Then, repeat step 6 so that the chocolate chips get pressed into the bars.   Step 8. Let the granola mix finish cooling in the fridge or, if you don't have fridge space, the kitchen counter will do.   Step 9. Once completely cooled, slide mixture out of the cookie pan and cut into bars.   Nutrition Information Serving size: 1 bar Calories: 175 Fat: 7 Carbohydrates: 25 Sugar: 16 Protein: 3 That’s all, fellow homesteaders! Did you enjoy our tutorial on how to make homemade granola bars? McConnell’s war on Trump is far from over

McConnell’s war on Trump is far from over

Kentucky’s Mitch McConnell (R), the longest-serving party leader in Senate history, announced his retirement Thursday afternoon to cheers and jeers (but mostly cheers). The ailing senator has spent much of the goodwill he might have acquired in his twilight years as an elder statesman on fighting his own party’s popular president. Thus far, his lonely resistance to Donald Trump has been ineffective, but don’t count the old man out just yet. He’s still very powerful. And now, he really has nothing to lose. He may have been forced by colleagues to step down from leadership and forced by failing health to announce his coming retirement, but Mitch McConnell is still a powerful and dangerous player. The past month has not gone as McConnell planned or how he’s used to things going. When he pledged at the American Enterprise Institute’s gala to resist the president’s foreign policy agenda from inside the Senate (just one week after Trump won the popular vote), he did not envision that playing out as a lonely protest vote from the back benches. He almost always gets his way — and he rarely has to do his own dirty work. His ally Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) led the charge against Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. But the Republican resistance underestimated the swift and ferocious backlash. Ernst quickly backed down. Next, Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), his closest ally, secretly funneled abuse allegations against Hegseth from a disgruntled former in-law. The White House responded with a charm offensive, and Tillis caved. He didn’t have the cojones to be the fourth decisive vote after all. Then came former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), nominated for director of national intelligence. Gabbard should have been a layup for the neocons, but when it came down to it, the president’s popularity won the day. Now comes the fight over Elbridge Colby, who has been nominated to return for the second administration as undersecretary of defense for policy. Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) has taken the lead in opposing Colby, but if the vice president’s public beatdown of other anti-Colby voices is any indication, the White House isn’t planning to let the Senate’s duty to “advise and consent” present as the power to control the executive branch. The Republican resistance imagines it has that power — just ask Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.), whose cringeworthy speech detailed the concessions he demanded to support Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for health and human services secretary. But McConnell isn’t finished with Trump. He failed to block the president’s nominees, but as America’s least popular senator, he still wields significant influence. As head of the subcommittee on defense appropriations, he controls how funds are allocated — and for what. Expect him to use that power. The Senate has surrendered many of its duties but still jealously guards appropriations. The chairwoman of the full appropriations committee is Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), a friend of McConnell from a state Kamala Harris won by more than seven points. You can expect both to work to tie the president’s hands on funding the Ukraine war, regardless of White House foreign policy or personnel. He may have been forced by colleagues to step down from leadership and forced by failing health to announce his coming retirement, but Mitch McConnell is still a powerful and dangerous player. Remember: Trump’s first impeachment was over Ukraine funding. The Grim Reaper’s time in the Senate may be coming to a close, but his battle is far from over. The quantum AI revolution is here — and we’re not ready

The quantum AI revolution is here — and we’re not ready

On Wednesday, Microsoft quietly announced a breakthrough that could change the world forever. No fanfare, no flashing sirens — just a casual revelation that it's unlocked an entirely new state of matter. This isn’t science fiction. This is real. And if you thought the pace of technological change was overwhelming before, buckle up, because everything changed yesterday. In science class, we are taught there are three states of matter: solids, liquids, and gases. Microsoft has allegedly developed a new class of matter, called “topological conductors,” that form the foundation of a new kind of quantum computing. The tech world has been chasing this for decades, and now, after nearly 20 years of research and billions of dollars, Microsoft has found the key. This breakthrough isn’t just another incremental tech update — it’s a paradigm shift — and shifts like this don’t come without consequences.Computing power is about to explode beyond anything we’ve ever imagined. Right now, we process information linearly — one step at a time. However, with quantum computing, an infinite number of calculations can be solved simultaneously. If today’s best supercomputers are like an Olympic sprinter, quantum computers are like teleportation — and we’re on the verge of plugging artificial intelligence into that system.Has AI already surpassed human intelligence? This week, Elon Musk’s AI system, Grok, released its latest update, and it’s already surpassing ChatGPT. I asked Grok how fast it learns new information, and it told me that in just 12 hours, it gains the equivalent of five to 10 years of human intellectual development. Imagine what happens when AI of this capacity is connected to quantum computing. The AI itself estimated that instead of advancing five to 10 years in 12 hours, it would leap 50 to 100 years in intellectual growth. Let that sink in.We are looking at intelligence that will be unimaginably superior to the smartest human beings on the planet, accelerating at a pace beyond comprehension. It won’t be a matter of decades before AI outpaces human intelligence — but days — and we’ve just given it the keys to quantum power. This is an event horizon, the moment after which nothing will ever be the same. Are you prepared for this?Tech elites, corporations, and governments are sprinting toward artificial superintelligence without a single serious conversation about what happens next. We already see AI systems manipulating public perception, influencing politics, and transforming industries. But what happens when an intelligence 1,000 times greater than any human starts making decisions for us? What happens when it controls entire economies, military systems, and information networks?Microsoft’s announcement should have been headline news. Instead, it was a tweet, a YouTube video, a whisper in the background of the cultural noise. But this breakthrough isn’t just another incremental tech update, it’s a paradigm shift — and shifts like this don’t come without consequences. We stand at the precipice of a new world. Quantum-powered AI will redefine everything — from the way we work, to the way we think, to the very fabric of reality as we understand it. This isn’t just an upgrade. This is the rewriting of the human experience.Want more from Glenn Beck? Get Glenn's FREE email newsletter with his latest insights, top stories, show prep, and more delivered to your inbox.

iPhone 16e tests show MagSafe charging works even though it’s not officially supported

You can't even buy the iPhone 16e yet, but the phone has already had its first controversy. The iPhone 16e doesn't support MagSafe charging, which is a bit of a surprise for a brand-new device that features high-end hardware similar to the more expensive iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. Rumors emerged that MagSafe charging might interfere with Apple's brand-new chip, the C1 modem, which powers wireless connectivity in the handset. Apple was quick to debunk those rumors. The C1 chip isn't the reason the iPhone 16e lacks MagSafe charging support. As I said before, Apple's desire to keep costs down might be the simplest explanation. But just because the iPhone 16e isn't equipped with internal MagSafe magnets doesn't mean MagSafe chargers won't work with a compatible case. The first iPhone 16e tests show that MagSafe cases not only work, they will improve wireless charging speeds. They also show MagSafe cases and MagSafe charging do not interfere with the C1 chip at all. Continue reading... Mike Waltz: Zelenskyy 'Insults' Unacceptable

The U.S. national security adviser warned Ukraine's leader to stop hurling "insults" at Donald Trump, as pressure built Friday on Volodymyr Zelenskyy to sign away precious mineral rights in exchange for Washington's help defending against Russia.
