We’re looking at almost 100 years of Jim Crow. We’re looking at legalized segregation and, in fact, segregation on so many levels that exist today based on race. And there has not been any kind of intervention.” According to polling from Pew Research, 66% of Americans oppose reparations, with only 30% in favor. Broken down by race, the disparity is even larger: 77% of black Americans support reparations, while only 8% of white Americans, 33% of Asian Americans, and 39% of Hispanic Americans support them.
