Former President Donald Trump gave pointers to CNN’s Dana Bash on how she can “achieve greatness” during her pre-taped interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. Set to air at 9 p.m. ET Thursday, the CNN sit-down will be Harris’ first major interview since President Joe Biden dropped out of the White House race last month. Harris is expected to appear with her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. “Dana Bash of CNN has a chance at greatness today. If she gave a fair but tough interview of Comrade Kamala Harris, she will expose her as being totally inept and ill suited for the job of President, much as I exposed Crooked Joe Biden during our now famous Debate. After Biden’s fumbling performance sparked a crisis of confidence among his allies, he stepped aside under pressure, and Harris took the top spot on the Democratic Party’s ticket. “Also, the interview should not have Tampon Tim present to help with the inevitable Kamala stumbles,” Trump continued, “and under no circumstances should the transcript be allowed to be changed in any way, shape, or form.” Trump was knocking Harris for largely sticking to scripted remarks and short interactions with the media over the course of her nascent campaign. “Tampon Tim” is a nickname that has been attached to Walz because, in 2023, he signed into law a measure requiring free menstrual products in all Minnesota public school bathrooms. “Dana and Jake were fair, but firm, in my CNN Debate with Crooked Joe. This is a chance for Dana Bash to reach REAL stardom, while at the same time doing a great service to our now failing Country,” Trump added. “Good luck, Dana, do the right thing!!! DJT.” There are roughly 67 and a half days until the election. Trump and Harris agreed to have their first debate on September 10, which will be hosted by ABC News. More than 20 illegal immigrants in southern California attempted to board school buses on two separate occasions as the buses were on routes transporting children, school district officials said. Two bus routes in the Jamul-Dulzura Union School District were interrupted by groups of illegal immigrants earlier this week, forcing the school district to warn parents to “stay [vigilant],” Fox 5 San Diego reported. The first incident happened on Tuesday afternoon and involved three men walking in the middle of the road and trying to get the school bus filled with children to stop. Superintendent Liz Bystedt said that the bus had to “go around” the group to continue on its route. On Wednesday, another bus stopped at a designated pick-up spot near where the bus from Tuesday was forced to drive around illegal immigrants and was met with a group of 20 illegal immigrants who attempted to board the bus. Bystedt said that parents who were at the bus stop waiting with their children ensured that the kids made it onto the bus safely and that no illegal immigrants boarded. The superintendent said that the district reported both bus incidents to the U.S. Border Patrol, California Highway Patrol, and San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, according to Fox 5. “The San Diego Sheriff’s Office was made aware of this incident today. We are conducting a follow up investigation to determine if a criminal act has occurred. The Sheriff’s Office takes issues regarding student safety very seriously and are working with the school district in order to keep the students and our community safe,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement. Jamul is just 25 miles from the Mexican border city of Tijuana. The San Diego sector has been a hot spot for illegal border crossing this year, with more than 37,000 arrests made by the U.S. Border Patrol in the area in April, the Associated Press reported. Exploring museums with centuries old artifacts can be tons of fun — but it can also be dangerous. That’s something a family recently learned after a visit to the Hecht Museum, located at the University of Haifa in Israel. Here, many of the artifacts on display are not sealed behind glass. So, when a little boy gets curious about some jars he spots, he decides to get a closer look. As a result, the boy accidentally smashes one of the jars! These jars date back to the Middle Bronze Age. That makes them at least 3,500 years old, according to the museum. It’s believed they were used as a way to store and transport supplies like wine and olive oil. Although they’re empty now, the 4-year-old boy’s curiosity came from wanting to know what was inside. Needless to say, both the boy and his dad were shocked by what happened. Margaret Cooper, a Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust life member, is a tireless warrior. In the 1990s, she began a fight to help common toads cross roads. The current estimate is that 20 tons (44092.5 pounds) of toads die on UK roads yearly. Margaret knew she couldn’t save them all but could save some. She fought for a toad road closure on Beanford Lane in Oxton, Nottinghamshire. She won in 1999, and the road is off-limits to vehicle traffic every March. To mark the 25th anniversary of her victory, Margaret was awarded a sign from the Automobile Association (AA) to commemorate her work. What are the dangers posed when the road’s closed for toads?
