Donald Trump’s Six Potential Running Mates

Reportedly, Donald Trump sent vetting documents to potential running mates recently. Multiple news outlets reported Wednesday that Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), and Tim Scott (R-S.C.) plus Reps. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) and Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) have received the forms, as have North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum (R) and former Housing and Urban Development […] The post Donald Trump’s Six Potential Running Mates appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Morgan Wallen Breaks Taylor Swift Record On Music Chart

Morgan Wallen broke Taylor Swift’s record on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart when his latest song secured the top spot for the most weeks at number one. The 31-year-old country star beat out both Swift and Roddy Rich — who were tied with 18 weeks at the top of Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 list this decade — when his collaboration with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help,” took over the top spot for 19, Chart Data reported. One fan account of Post Malone’s wrote on X that his Wallen collab also “has returned to #1 on the US Spotify chart in its 27th day, gaining 3,125,853 streams.” Fans of the “Whiskey Glasses” hitmaker shared their excitement when news surfaced that he broke another record, taking to social media to label him the “GOAT” [Greatest Of All Time] and more, MSN noted. “He’s the hottest artist right now,” one person wrote. “And he’s got everything lined up for it to stay that way for a long time. Everything he puts out is better than the last – it’s amazing to watch his trajectory. Love it!! Another added simply, “GOAT.” While a third person wrote, “Good Taylor hasn’t been good since she was country in my opinion I don’t get the hype at all. All her songs sound like a whin-y spoken word poem.” The country singer previously broke another record by the “Shake It Off” hitmaker when his latest album “One Thing At A Time” debuted breaking the record once held by Swift for having the most songs on the Streaming Songs chart at once, with 36 tracks claiming 30 spots on the chart, MSN.com noted. .@MorganWallen breaks the record for most weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 in the 2020s (19). He breaks a tie with @taylorswift13 and @RoddyRicch. pic.twitter.com/L1Tj1wnitg — chart data (@chartdata) June 3, 2024 Wallen held the title no artist ever had until the “Lover” hitmaker dropped her album “The Tortured Poets Department” in April, with 31 songs taking over 31 spots on the streaming chart and beating out Wallen. The record-breaking news comes after the country star recently made headlines when he was arrested for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct for throwing a chair off the roof of Chief’s bar in downtown Nashville on April 7.  Weeks after the reports about the chair throwing incident, Wallen finally addressed being arrested and made it clear he wasn’t “proud” of what happened in April. “I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks,” Wallen wrote. “I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility.” “I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe,” he added. “Regarding my tour, there will be no change.”

Biden Claims He Won’t Pardon His Son If He’s Convicted On Federal Gun Charges

Biden Claims He Won’t Pardon His Son If He’s Convicted On Federal Gun Charges

President Joe Biden claimed during an interview on Thursday that he will accept the result of his son’s criminal trial and will not pardon him if he is convicted. Biden made the remarks during an ABC News interview with David Muir while Biden visited Normandy, France, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the largest amphibious invasion in history. When asked if he would accept the result of Hunter Biden’s criminal trial in Wilmington, Delaware, Biden responded: “Yes.” Biden also answered “yes” when he was asked if he would rule out pardoning his son if he is convicted. Hunter Biden has been charged with three felonies for allegedly lying on a federal background check form to obtain the weapon, and his subsequent possession of the weapon. If convicted, he could face up to 25 years in prison and have to pay up to $750,000 in fines. Hunter Biden allegedly checked a box on the form that said that he did not use and was not addicted to any illegal drugs, which directly contradicts his widely known struggles with crack cocaine, which he admitted to in a memoir. “After the defendant announced his awareness of a federal investigation of him in 2020, the defendant chose to author and sell a book in 2021 in which he made countless incriminating statements about his years-long drug usage, including during the time period he purchased and possessed the gun,” said Special Counsel David Weiss in court filings. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP Weiss went even further, noting that investigators “literally found drugs” on the pouch where Hunter Biden kept his gun. “In 2023, FBI investigators pulled sealed evidence from the state police vault to take photographs of the defendant’s firearm,” Weiss said. “After opening the evidence, FBI investigators observed a white powdery substance on the defendant’s brown leather pouch that had held the defendant’s firearm in October 2018. Based on their training and experience, investigators believed that this substance was likely cocaine and that this evidence would corroborate the messages that investigators had obtained which showed the defendant buying and using drugs in October 2018. An FBI chemist subsequently analyzed the residue and determined that it was cocaine. To be clear, investigators literally found drugs on the pouch where the defendant had kept his gun.”
