The United States and Russia have reportedly agreed to their biggest prisoner swap in post-Soviet history as part of a multinational deal. “The swap will allow the two wrongfully detained American citizens held by Moscow, Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich and former U.S. Marine Paul Whelan, to return home,” ABC News reports. “Russia freed wrongly convicted WSJ reporter Evan Gershkovich as part of the largest and most complex East-West prisoner swap since the Cold War,” The Wall Street Journal noted. After an unusually hasty trial that played out behind closed doors, Gershkovich was found guilty and sentenced to 16 years in a high-security penal colony. Whelan, who holds U.S., British, Irish and Canadian citizenship, was arrested in December 2018 while traveling on an American passport in Russia and also accused of espionage. Both the Biden and Trump administrations denied the allegation against Whelan. He was convicted on the charges in June 2020 and sentenced to 16 years in prison, ultimately serving five. Among the prisoners in Russia who could be involved in the swap are Kara-Murza, a Russian-British activist and journalist sentenced on charges of treason who was recently moved from his Siberian prison; opposition politician Ilya Yashin; Lilia Chanysheva and Ksenia Fadeeva, former regional directors for the offices of the late Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny; human rights activist Oleg Orlov; 19-year-old dual Russian-German citizen Kevin Lik, the youngest person ever convicted of treason in Russia; artist and activist Daniil Krinari; and artist Alexandra Skochilenko. A lawyer for Paul Whelan, the US Marine who has been held in a Russian prison since 2018, said she was unaware of his location and unable to contact him. “There are rumors about a possible exchange,” the lawyer, Olga Karlova said. “I sent a request to the colony administration, but they are not responding.” Neither American nor Russian officials confirmed that the prisoner movements were connected to a prisoner exchange, the Washington Post and Reuters reported, which is not unusual ahead of prisoner swaps. The largest swap since the Cold War came in 2010 and involved 14 people across both sides.

Never before seen footage showing a Planned Parenthood employee appearing to discuss the sale of aborted babies’ body parts was released Tuesday, years after now-Vice President Kamala Harris seized the footage as Attorney General of California. The five-minute video shows a conversation between a person identified as Dr. Stacy De-Lin, Planned Parenthood New York City Medical Director for Abortion Services, and an undercover reporter with the Center for Medical Progress (CMP). During their conversation, De-Lin seems to acknowledge that Planned Parenthood would sell the livers of aborted babies. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) obtained the video through a subpoena earlier this year. Her office began publishing clips of the videos earlier this year, and released the full footage on Tuesday. In the video, De-Lin appears to admit that Planned Parenthood New York City engaged in illegal abortions, saying that they will do “fully intact” dilation and evacuation abortions, which fall in the category of partial-birth abortions. “We certainly do intact D&Es,” De-Lin says, after the undercover investigator said she would pay more for intact unborn babies. According to Daleiden, the full video is “too incriminating to explain away.” “There’s really no way that they can spin this stuff anymore. There’s no way that they can explain away admissions that are this stark and this obvious from their own top level leadership,” Daleiden said. “And that’s why they went, eight years ago, to such incredible lengths to ask Kamala Harris when she was Attorney General of California to use the powers of her office to raid my home, try to seize all the original copies of the undercover footage, and prevent it from continuing to be published,” Daleiden continued.  De-Lin, who now works at Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, did not respond to a phone call or email asking for comment on the videos. Planned Parenthood also did not return a request for comment. Daleiden said that he expects lawmakers to release more previously blocked CMP videos in the coming weeks. Harris has made abortion a key part of her 2024 campaign, attacking former President Donald Trump over the overturning of Roe v. Wade.  She has long been backed by Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups, raking in tens of thousands of dollars in donations from the pro-abortion lobby throughout her career. In 2020, Planned Parenthood Action released an ad campaign calling Harris “OUR Reproductive Health Champion.” That year, Planned Parenthood Votes published an article entitled “Nine Reasons to Love Kamala Harris.”

A teen mom is learning how to parent her triplets from the nurse who chose to adopt her after treating her during the pregnancy! Shariya Small was just a child herself when, at 14, she gave birth to three kids. While receiving care at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, the young girl felt alone and scared. She told People that she “couldn’t relate to all the other moms on the floor.” Facebook Thankfully, that’s when she met nurse Katrina Mullen, who was more than willing to take Shariya under her wing. You see, this woman had a lot in common with the new mother. Not only was she a single mom herself, but she’d also given birth for the first time at age 16. Since she’d been through it all before, she became an incredible source of emotional support for Shariya. “I wanted her to know that I was a teen mom, and that I knew how scary it was,” Katrina recalled. When the 14-year-old left the hospital with her triplets, two daughters named Sarayah and Serenitee and a son named Samari, she remained in contact with Katrina. In fact, the teenager reached out to the nurse almost every day! “I was really overwhelmed,” said Shariya. “I would just call Katrina and she would talk me down and tell me what to do.” Facebook Unfortunately, things didn’t go so well for the young girl at first. Her living situation was precarious, and her son became ill. Child Protective Services were ready to take the three children away, but they contacted Katrina before doing so. Shariya was hoping that she and her little ones could move in with the nurse. Of course, this wasn’t going to be easy for Katrina. She already had kids of her own to take care of. However, she worried about what would happen if the young girl, now 15, and her children ended up in foster care. So, she took them all in. “She was willing to help me when nobody else was,” Shariya remembered. Two years later, they were able to make this arrangement official. The nurse finally got to adopt the teen mom, becoming a grandmother to the adorable triplets. So far, things have worked out pretty well for the family.
