Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 costs as much as a whole gaming PC—but it sure is fast

We’ve tried to strike a balance between games with ray-tracing effects and games without it, though most AAA games these days include it, and modern GPUs should be able to handle it well (best of luck…

Cross Canadian Ragweed Performed For The First Time In Nearly 15 Years With Surprise Set At Mile 0 Fest

All is right in the world. Cross Canadian Ragweed is BACK. Some might be confused, given that their big return to the stage is slated for The Boys From Oklahoma event this spring in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The reunion special at Boone Pickens Stadium will feature the Turnpike Troubadours, Jason Boland & The Stragglers, The Great Divide, Stoney LaRue, and more. However, "The Boys From Oklahoma" threw the world a curve ball when they all appeared at Mile 0 Fest in Key West, Florida. Cody Canada's band, Cody Canada & The Departed, were on the festival's lineup, but he brought some extra friends as the band had plans to reunite during the festival. Mile 0 hosted a Cross Canadian Ragweed tribute set this year featuring various artists slated to perform throughout the festival. The tribute consisted of 14 songs, and after the set, the crowd was in for an even bigger treat. This year, after the tribute players left the stage, the original band members graced the stage on a cold Thursday night in Key West. "I guess it’s cold in Key West because hell froze over.  I don't even know what to say. I don't know how to talk about it. This moment. But this is the first time that we've played in front of human beings." I can't imagine the high each band member felt as they played the nostalgic tracks in front of a screaming crowd for the first time in fifteen years. "So instead of talking and getting all f**king sappy, we are just going to play until they tell us to quit playing." https://twitter.com/BDubsJrII/status/1882684217483731300 They have been rehearsing for their sold-out four-night event at Boone Pickens Stadium, so what better way to put those practices to use than to give fans a taste of what's in store a few months in advance? Opening their set with the rocking track "Number," found on their 2004 album Soul Gravy, the energy from the crowd is palpable through all of the videos shared of the epic moment. They followed that song up with another from that record, performing "Lonely Girl." Even Canada was feeling a high from being back on stage with his boys as he said into the microphone: “What an honor to be on stage with my f*cking friends again." Sonically, they sounded great (as great as you can sound through a TikTok video). Seeing how natural they all look on stage together, performing these songs for the first time in over a decade supports Canada's statement that they never skipped a beat, even during early practices. “We really…on the first song, right out of the gate. We just dove right in. We all saw each other a few weeks ago, so we got all of that out.”  If they sound this good reuniting in front of a crowd for the first time, with a few extra months of practice and a sold-out stadium singing along with them in April, I can only imagine how electric The Boys From Oklahoma shows will be. After the set, Cody Canada said to Rolling Stone: "I was honestly nervous, and I didn’t think I was going to be, but, man... that felt great.” Cross Canadian Ragweed is SO back. Check it out: @the_adam_drake #RedDirt history happened tonight in #KeyWest. The legendary #CrossCanadianRagweed took the stage together for the first time in 15 years. Goosebumps were felt by everyone in attendance and not just because of the cold wind blowing. Thank you @Mile 0 Fest Key West for an unforgettable night. Again, I didn't get video of everything, but I got as much as I could yo share with you. #Number #LonelyGirl #LighthouseKeeper #BoysFromOklahoma ♬ original sound - Drake

Jason Aldean Praises Carrie Underwood For “Pro Move” Singing A Cappella At Trump Inauguration: “It’s A Hard Song To Do Anyway”

A historically impressive performance. I think we all saw Carrie Underwood's incredible performance of "America The Beautiful" at the inauguration of President Trump on Monday, which has been widely praised from people on both sides of the aisle.... minus a few bitter trolls who couldn't form an objective thought to save their lives. Carrie ended up doing a stunning a capella performance after some technical difficulties delayed the start, and it was a beautiful moment that I'm convinced only she could've pulled off so well. Her initial decision to be there was of course met with a ton of backlash from some fans who didn’t like the fact that she was lending her talents to a President they don’t like or didn’t vote for, but Carrie, who has generally been pretty quiet on politics, responded with class, saying in a simple statement that she was “honored” to be asked to perform for the President and felt humbled to “answer the call” in an effort to display unity: “I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event. I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.” Hard to argue with that, but of course, people did. Although, Carrie didn’t endorse anyone in the 2024 presidential election, or reveal who she voted for, most people assume she voted for Donald Trump. You know what they say about making assumptions... Anyways, she hasn't made any public statements since then, though her fellow country musician Jason Aldean, who has been a very public supporter of President Trump for years and performed at the Liberty Ball on Monday evening, had high praise for his duet partner (they teamed up on their #1 hit "If I Didn't Love You" in 2021). Aldean told Fox & Friends earlier this week that he thought it was a "pro move" of her to do it without the music, especially because he noted what a hard song it is to sing anyways: "First of all, it’s a hard song to do anyway. And when you’re supposed to be singing to a track, and that’s what gives you pitch reference for the song... to not have that, for her to just kinda say, ‘All right, listen, we’ll go.’ That’s a big move, and that’s a pro move on her part, so I thought it was great." Granted, I'm not professional singer, but I completely agree, especially considering the circumstances of the event... I mean, this wasn't some regular old Thursday night tour stop. Many other Americans across the country, and people all over the world, seemed to agree and went back into the extensive Carrie Underwood catalog, because she had EIGHT albums in the Top 100 of the iTunes country albums chart earlier this week. Two of them were in the top two spots, and a third was at #9. The rest filled in throughout the other 100 spots. I just don't think this will ever get old, or that anyone else will ever top it... no matter who gets elected four years from now, I wouldn't want to have to follow this: Carrie crushed it. ?? pic.twitter.com/7C3Db9Lv4M — Whiskey Riff (@WhiskeyRiff) January 20, 2025
