I see that the good old USA is going to start importing "skilled " workers from India.
A few things of intrest
1. The EU has instructed its members to start importing large amounts of "skilled" workers from India.
2. This gem took me a long time to find but at least one EU country is listing van drivers as "skilled" workers.
The only reasion to import people is to reduce work standards and wages in order to control the native workers.
I have never found Indian workers to be very "skilled", but that could just be me

Former NASA astronaut’s close encounter with mysterious metallic orbs in airplane raises questions

Former NASA astronaut Leroy Chiao encountered two metallic spherical orbs near his plane over Texas in August. The orbs, roughly three feet in diameter, flew at 20 feet distance and were not detected on radar or transponders. Chiao speculates the objects could be part of a secret military program, but government transparency remains lacking. Recent drone and UFO sightings near military installations and urban areas have fueled speculation about their origins. Chiao calls for greater government transparency to address public safety concerns and resolve the mystery. Article by Cassie B., republished with permission from Naturalnews.com In a startling revelation, former NASA astronaut Leroy Chiao has come forward with an account of a close encounter with two metallic spherical orbs while flying his private plane over Texas in August. Chiao, who served as commander of Expedition 10 to the International Space Station, described the objects as roughly three feet in diameter and flying at an estimated distance of just 20 feet from his aircraft. The incident, which occurred at an altitude of 9,000 feet, has left both Chiao and the public questioning the origins of these mysterious objects. Chiao was en route from Colorado to Houston when the orbs suddenly zipped past his plane. One orb flew directly above the other, and the entire encounter lasted only a fraction of a second. “It’s just kinda dumb luck that they didn’t hit me,” Chiao remarked, acknowledging the potential danger of the situation. “It could’ve been a bad result if they had actually hit me. It happened so quick, there wasn’t even a chance to get scared.” Despite the orbs’ close proximity, they were not detected on radar or by the FAA-required transponders that typically track other aircraft. Air traffic control did not issue any warnings, and the objects did not appear on Chiao’s cockpit display. “It wasn’t on radar,” Chiao noted. “Air traffic control certainly didn’t alert me, and it wasn’t on my display that shows other airplanes that are participating with the FAA-required transponders.” Chiao’s account adds to the growing list of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) sightings in the United States, particularly in light of recent drone activity over New York and New Jersey. While Chiao initially speculated that the orbs could be part of a top-secret military drone program, he admitted that the lack of transparency from the government leaves many questions unanswered. “I don’t know what it was,” Chiao confessed, describing the sighting as both “mysterious” and “disconcerting.” Government transparency and the drone mystery Chiao’s encounter comes amid a surge of drone and UFO sightings across the country, many of which have occurred near sensitive military installations and urban areas. In recent weeks, reports of large, mysterious drones have flooded in from New Jersey and neighboring states, prompting widespread speculation about their origins. Some have suggested foreign espionage, while others point to advanced military technology or even extraterrestrial activity. Chiao believes the government’s lack of transparency on these matters is troubling. “They could tell us what they know,” he said. “And if they really don’t know, that’s a little more disconcerting.” His skepticism echoes the frustration expressed by Belleville Mayor Michael Melham, who recently criticized a federal briefing on the drone mystery as “disappointing, to say the least.” The mayor’s briefing, which was attended by more than 500 local leaders, reportedly failed to provide any concrete answers. “The mayors are livid,” journalist Michael Shellenberger reported, citing one mayor’s account of automobile-sized drones hovering near his home. A broader pattern of secrecy Chiao’s experience and the recent drone sightings highlight a broader pattern of government secrecy surrounding UAP incidents. While the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) has acknowledged the prevalence of metallic orbs in military UFO reports, little concrete information has been shared with the public. Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, the first director of AARO, has noted that these orbs are frequently observed worldwide, often performing “very interesting apparent maneuvers.” For Chiao, the lack of transparency is not just frustrating—it’s potentially dangerous. “It’s hard to believe that our government doesn’t really know what’s going on,” he said. “At first blush, to me, it seems like some kind of a military program, our military. And if it’s not that, then it gets a little more scary.” As the year draws to a close, the mysteries surrounding these metallic orbs and the recent drone activity remain unsolved. Chiao’s account serves as a stark reminder of the need for greater transparency from the government, especially when it comes to matters that could impact public safety. Until then, the questions will continue to mount, leaving both experts and the public to wonder what—or who—is really behind these enigmatic aerial phenomena. More Bad News For Fani Willis After Court Rules She Can Be Compelled To Testify Under Oath

Fani Willis, the disgraced district attorney of Fulton County, Georgia, was booted from her case against President Donald Trump over allegations about her inappropriate relationship with a special prosecutor. She will potentially be facing even more accountability in the form of a subpoena handed down by the state Senate. BREAKING: A judge in Georgia just issued a ruling forcing Fani Willis to testify under oath before the State Senate to answer for the crimes she committed in the Trump RICO case. The Republican-led special committee will grill Fani for hours and force her to tell the truth.… pic.twitter.com/ifzCANkXBR — George (@BehizyTweets) December 27, 2024 According to TheBlaze: In August, a Republican-led Georgia Senate committee subpoenaed Willis, seeking her testimony as part of its investigation into her alleged misconduct. However, Willis’ attorney, former Georgia Gov. Roy Barnes (D), contended that the Senate committee lacked the authority to compel her testimony. He further claimed that the subpoenas were overly broad and unrelated to legislative needs. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Shukura Ingram filed an order Monday ruling that the state Senate can subpoena Willis. Additionally, Willis was instructed that if she would like to submit arguments against the subpoenas, she must wait to do so until January 13. Barnes told the Associated Press, “We believe the ruling is wrong and will appeal.” Georgia’s current legislative term is slated to end on January 13, effectively terminating the Senate committee currently investigating Willis. However, Sen. Greg Dolezal (R) stated he will file legislation to reopen the committee for the 2025 session. Elected officials and pundits alike reacted to the development via social media: Judge Ingram has ruled the state Senate does indeed have the power to subpoena D.A. Fani Willis. Fani Willis had an illicit affair with Nathan Wade, the top prosecutor she hired to hunt down Trump in her RICO and conspiracy case against the former president. In February 2024 Fani Willis testified under oath that her relationship with her then-top prosecutor Nathan Wade had ended months ago. Fani Willis skipped the hearing in September even though she was subpoenaed by a special state committee. “Let’s please note for the record that Ms. Willis has failed to appear in compliance with the subpoena and has failed to produce documents requested,” Committee chairman Senator Bill Cowsert said in September. Fox News also provided coverage of the events leading up to the most recent ruling: Earlier this month, an appeals court removed Willis from the Georgia election interference case against Trump and others, citing an “appearance of impropriety.” The panel also cited the romantic relationship between Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade. “This is the rare case in which disqualification is mandated and no other remedy will suffice to restore public confidence in the integrity of these proceedings,” the court said. At the time, Trump called the case a “disgrace to justice.” “It was started by the Biden DOJ as an attack on his political opponent, Donald Trump,” he said, “They used anyone and anybody, and she has been disqualified, and her boyfriend has been disqualified, and they stole funds and went on trips.” And here’s how one prominent GOP lawmaker reacted to Willis’ ongoing reversal of fortune:

Authorities discovered 11 graves containing 12 skeletons in Ascension municipality near the U.S. border, the state prosecutor’s office said in a statement. “The discovery was made during tracking operations that took place on December 18, 19 and 20,” it said. “The unidentified skeletons and evidence were transferred to the laboratories of the Forensic Medical Service” in the city of Ciudad Juarez for possible identification and to determine possible causes of death, it said. Drug cartels and kidnapping gangs in Mexico often use such clandestine body dumping grounds to get rid of the corpses of their victims or rivals, The Associated Press points out. That has contributed to the enormous problem of missing people in Mexico — about 120,000 at this time.
