Feds Arrest Las Vegas Man For Allegedly Attacking Tesla Store With Molotov Cocktails, Rifle

Federal law enforcement officials arrested 36-year-old Paul Hyon Kim, a resident of Las Vegas, this week on charges stemming from an attack on a Tesla shop. Kim, who was arraigned in federal court on Thursday, was charged with one count of unlawful possession of an unregistered firearm and one count of arson, the DOJ said in a statement. He remains in federal custody. “The Department of Justice has been clear: anyone who participates in the wave of domestic terrorism targeting Tesla properties will suffer severe legal consequences,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi. “We will continue to find, arrest, and prosecute these attackers until the lesson is learned.” Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department patrol officers responded to a call last Tuesday about gunshots and a person setting vehicles on fire. Investigators discovered that “Molotov cocktails and a .30 caliber AR-style firearm were used to damage and destroy five Tesla vehicles,” the DOJ said. Spray paint was also used to vandalize the building with graffiti that said “Resist” — a common rally cry for the far-Left. Police executed a search warrant on Wednesday at Kim’s home where they discovered a firearm consistent with the one used in the attack, “a black gun belt with a pouch and a small drop of pink paint residue, a black hoodie, face masks, and a handwritten note with what appeared to be an escape plan.” If convicted, Kim faces up to 10 years in prison for the firearm charge and 20 years in prison for the arson charge. “As promised, acts of violence and vandalism will not be tolerated, and today law enforcement personnel acted quickly to arrest an individual on charges including arson,” said FBI Director Kash Patel. “Under Attorney General Bondi’s leadership, we will continue to pursue these investigations with the full force of law and will bring to justice anyone responsible for these attacks.” BREAKING: Suspected Las Vegas Tesla fire bomber Paul Kim has been charged by the Feds and is now in federal custody following his arrest by @LVMPD. Stefanik Nomination Pulled to Protect Passage of Reconciliation, White House Official Says

President Donald Trump on Thursday withdrew Elise Stefanik’s nomination to be United Nations ambassador because Republicans in the House will likely need the New York congresswoman’s vote to help ensure passage of the budget reconciliation bill, a senior White House official told The Daily Signal. Passing the debt ceiling and reconciliation packages are going to be difficult due to Democrats’ opposition and Republicans’ razor-thin majority in the House of Representatives no matter what, and Republicans can’t spare Stefanik’s vote. The American people need every Republican vote in the House to enact Trump’s agenda, the official said. Had Stefanik been confirmed by the Senate to be the United Nations envoy, her House seat would have been vacant for most of the year, and Republicans don’t have time to waste, according to the official. The budget reconciliation process stands as Trump’s and congressional Republicans’ best—and likely only—hope to pass their agenda through Congress. Reconciliation is a process exempt from the filibuster 60-vote threshold required to end debate in the Senate. Through reconciliation, Congress decides which areas should get more money and which should get less based on the majority’s priorities.  The Congressional Budget Office on Wednesday released a stark forecast of when the government’s borrowing limit would be reached—increasing the urgency of congressional Republicans’ budget negotiations.  The forecast warns that if the government doesn’t raise the debt limit, then it will no longer be able to borrow money and pay its obligations. House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., has previously said he hopes to pass a budget reconciliation bill by Memorial Day, which this year falls on May 26. While Stefanik would likely have had no trouble getting the necessary Senate votes for confirmation, Republicans hold a narrow majority in the House with 218 seats, while Democrats hold 213 seats. There are currently four vacant seats. Special elections for two of those seats, both in Florida, will be held on April 1. Trump won the 6th Congressional District of Florida, formerly held by National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, by 30 points in November, but polls show Democrats might have a chance at flipping the seat in the special election there, threatening Republicans’ already narrow majority. Republican state Sen. Randy Fine holds a small lead, receiving support of 48.3% of the vote, compared with 44.2% of respondents who said they plan to vote for Democrat Josh Weil, according to a new St. Pete Poll. Nonetheless, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is confident that Waltz’s former seat will not flip blue. “Randy Fine will be a member of Congress,” Mike Marinella, an NRCC spokesman, told The Daily Signal. “Everything else is just noise.” Speaker Johnson has poured significant amounts of time, money, and effort into Fine’s campaign and is confident Fine will win, Greg Steele, his political communications director, told The Daily Signal. The speaker was highly concerned about New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, a Democrat, slow-walking the special election to replace Stefanik.   Stefanik’s U.N. nomination was expected to move forward on April 2, the day after the Florida special elections, Axios reported last week. She would have been the last member of Trump’s Cabinet to get confirmed. Trump said on Truth Social he would find another place for Stefanik in his administration when possible. Get Him a Fainting Couch: Darcy Loses His Noodle Over WashPost Downplaying Slogan

Tuesday night in his newsletter Status, former conservative reporter-turned-caustic progressive Oliver Darcy was in need of a fainting couch, some pearls to clutch, or a safe space over a supposed sign of the apocalypse in The Washington Post slowly backing away from its dumb slogan “Democracy Dies in Darkness.” To be clear, the Jeff Bezos-owned paper told him it won’t be retired anytime soon. But because it’s not in your face, The Post’s supposed embrace of Donald Trump’s perceived authoritarianism is illustrated in the paper having “quietly removed the slogan...its mobile app” and at the top of articles. Darcy wrote in his article “Democracy Dies in the Light” that “Bezos and the business community have taken an entirely different tact” in “openly” working “to woo” President Trump just years after they took “a more adversarial approach in dealing with him” and openly “signaled the stakes of the moment.” “The removal of the slogan from the opening sequence occurred over the last few weeks when the app received an update. ‘Democracy Dies in Darkness’ also no longer appears at the top of the mobile homepage, though it remains visible on the desktop version of the website and in print editions of the newspaper,” he explained. So, what slogans have they started deploying instead? Well, the perpetual skunk at the garden party lamented “Switch on” and “Riveting Storytelling for All of America.” The latter is already, unsurprisingly, not “terribly popular among staffers.” A Darcy source from inside The Post illustrated the far-left papers hatred for over 70 million Americans: “It’s kind of hard to tell stories for all of America when a massive portion of the country doesn't even work based on the same set of facts.” Keep that in mind when reading The Post that’s what many of them think of anyone who believes in news that informs and unifies. Just like he did with the “Gulf of America” hubbub and the lack of boycotts by the White House press corps in support of the Associated Press, Darcy suggested this meaningless tweak was a harbinger for the direction of the country and that the newspaper — at least in the eyes of Bezos — might not be a hate movement against conservatives: To the average observer, the moves might be subtle enough to miss. But to the trained eye of those who currently work and have worked at The Post, the changes are glaring. After all, "Democracy Dies in Darkness" wasn't just a catchphrase, it was something of a rallying cry for the newsroom. Now, amid fear of democratic backsliding in the U.S., The Post appears to be no longer as enamored by it—just as Bezos looks to curry favor with Trump. And given that Bezos once asserted that the slogan should always appear alongside The Post's logo, the fact that they no longer do in some spots is noteworthy. Bezos, quite evidently, does not wish The Post to be seen as a #Resistance publication. Instead, as signaled by the newspaper's new mission statement, he wants the outlet to appeal to "all of Am erica." In other words, he wants The Post to be a newspaper that Trump supporters also find credible and might consider subscribing to. Sanding down some of the old branding associated with the #Resistance era might help in those efforts. Bezos closed as though he’s as mob boss, lecturing Bezos that while he “may want...unifying news organizations broadly trusted by most of the country,” the country and “a lot of the world” want the opposite because “[s]hared reality is a relic of the past.”

Rochester mayor criticizes cops for violating 'sanctuary city' policies by helping Border Patrol on traffic stop

The Democrat mayor of Rochester, New York, is facing backlash after he criticized police who answered a call to help Border Patrol on a traffic stop on Monday. Rochester Mayor Malik Evans held a press conference Wednesday with Rochester Police Chief David Smith to chastise the two officers for violating their "sanctuary city" policies. 'The reality is, there’s a lot more profiling, there’s a lot more disdain for being Latino right now in this country.' Border Patrol stopped the van at about 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Lyell Avenue and Whitney Street and called for backup about a half-hour later. Smith said that officers acted on their own out of the view of the RPD supervisor who first responded to the call. “The officers on the scene verbally directed the occupants to get out of the vehicle, and this is against our policy,” said the mayor. “What is also very concerning is that RPD officers went out of view of the supervisor who was on scene to initiate contact with occupants of the vehicle while Border Patrol stands by," Smith added, "when in reality, they [Border Patrol] should be initiating contact and we should be there ensuring their safety." Evans said police will receive more instruction about the sanctuary city order. “Our policy is crystal clear. City police officers do not help or participate in federal immigration activities," he added. The Locust Club, a Rochester Police union, released a statement defending the officers. “RPD did not initiate this traffic stop and had no information about the occupants whatsoever. The agents asked the officers to assist in having the occupants exit the vehicle, which ultimately the occupants did without resistance," read the statement. "The officers placed the occupants in handcuffs for officer safety without incident and left them with the HSI agents on scene,” the statement continued. “The officers on scene asked no questions of the occupants about their immigration status or relevant documents. No force was used.”The union accused the mayor of overreacting to the incident and said the officers involved did nothing wrong. City Council President Miguel Melendez suggested that the policies were needed in order to oppose racism against Latinos. “The reality is, there’s a lot more profiling, there’s a lot more disdain for being Latino right now in this country,” he said. “With that being said, we have a policy. It is the responsibility of the council to ensure that we are following these policies.”Another city council member said she viewed video from the incident and that officers were threatening immigrant construction workers in the van. The city first adopted "sanctuary city" polices in 1986 and reaffirmed those policies 21 years later in 2017. Like Blaze News? Google founder's ex-wife speaks out about evils of ‘tech mafia’

The Big Tech elites have been laying “groundwork” to enable the policies of the Great Reset, and no one knows it better than Silicon Valley attorney, entrepreneur, RFK Jr. running mate, and ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin — Nicole Shanahan. “Their money especially was being conscripted to set the groundwork for the Great Reset, specifically through a network of NGO advisors, relationship with Hollywood, relationship with Davos, and their own companies,” Shanahan told Allie Beth Stuckey in a recent interview on “Relatable.” “If you look at who’s on these boards, who hangs out with each other, how the culture of tech wealth works,” Shanahan continued, “it’s a really small group of people, and it’s a really small group of people making these decisions.” Glenn Beck of “The Glenn Beck Program” is well aware of plans for the Great Reset, but he’s shocked that Shanahan is warning about them. “It is amazing to go from five years ago, everybody saying, ‘That’s crazy, that’s not happening,’ to the former wife of the head of Google coming out and saying, ‘Yeah, this was all orchestrated, we didn’t even know what we were into as wives of the Silicon Valley mafia wives,’ as she calls them,” Glenn tells Stuckey. “She said that she really saw the reality of evil, the reality of hell, when she was deep into politics, and that kind of started to shift her perspective on, ‘Wait, who are the bad guys here? What’s going on? All of this evil is being done under the guise of really good intentions, especially in Silicon Valley,’” Stuckey explains. And when Shanahan’s daughter was diagnosed with autism, she started attempting to figure out what could have caused it. “As she was digging into the research, she found some things that kind of have been dubbed as right-wing conspiracy theories about different environmental factors, even pharmaceutical factors that could possibly cause some symptoms of autism,” Stuckey says. “But she had a hard time researching because the search engine that almost everyone uses censors that kind of information. And, well, she was married to the co-founder of Google, who was playing a part in censoring that information, not only inhibiting her research for her daughter, but research for the effects of the COVID-19 vaccine,” she continues. “And she shared that that caused, understandably, a lot of conflict in her life and still does,” she adds. 'Snow White' producer's son obliterates 'immature' actress Rachel Zegler for her 'narcissism' after disastrous showing

The actor son of the producer of Disney's "Snow White" live-action remake unloaded a barrage of criticism against lead actress Rachel Zegler after it was reported that his father flew out to New York just to berate her for politicizing the movie. Jonah Platt defended his father, Marc Platt, over the report from Variety that he had flown to New York in order to try to persuade Zegler to take down a message of support for Palestine just after she was announced as the lead actress. 'This is called adult responsibility and accountability. And her actions clearly hurt the film's box office.' The report said Zegler refused to take the post down, and months later, the movie imploded upon release. A random critic demanded that 38-year-old Jonah Platt answer for his father, and he fired back a scorching response. "Your dad flew to NYC to reprimand a young actress? Any words on this? Cuz that's creepy as hell and uncalled for. People have the right to free speech, no? Shame on your father," she wrote. "You really want to do this?" Jonah Platt replied. "Yeah, my dad, the producer of enormous piece of Disney IP with hundreds of millions of dollars on the line, had to leave his family to fly across the country to reprimand his 20 year old employee for dragging her personal politics into the middle of promoting the movie for which she signed a multi-million dollar contract to get paid and do publicity for," he added. "This is called adult responsibility and accountability. And her actions clearly hurt the film's box office."Zegler's missive was among the numerous controversies that led to box office receipts far below expectations for the remake of the beloved classic. "Free speech does not mean you're allowed to say whatever you want in your private employment without repercussions," Platt continued. "Tens of thousands of people worked on that film, and she hijacked the conversation for her own immature desires at the risk of all the colleagues and crew and blue collar workers who depend on that movie to be successful. Narcissism is not something to be coddled or encouraged."Screenshots of his response went viral among those criticizing Zegler as well as those who support her. One post garnered over 27 million interactions in about 24 hours. Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!
