Ramaswamy Thrills Madison Square Garden Rally Crowd With Bold Claim: New York Is A ‘Swing State’

The crowd at former President Donald Trump‘s Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday got energized on Sunday when Vivek Ramaswamy made the striking assertion that deep blue New York has become a “swing state.” A biotech entrepreneur who ran in the GOP primaries before dropping out and endorsing Trump, Ramaswamy said the “energy” in the arena did not feel like “second place energy” to him. Ramaswamy then said a billionaire friend of his had texted him in the morning and asked, ‘Why the hell are you guys wasting your time in New York City instead of going to a swing state?'” According to Ramaswamy, he told this person, “‘Welcome to 2024. New York is a swing state.” Vivek Ramaswamy @VivekGRamaswamy: “This does NOT feel like second place energy in here tonight!” pic.twitter.com/SUJdlWZMVt — RSBN ?? (@RSBNetwork) October 27, 2024 While the line earned a loud round of cheers from the audience, it would be quite the undertaking for Trump to actually make New York a competitive race. FiveThirtyEight’s poll tracker shows Trump trailing Vice President Kamala Harris by 14.5 points. That’s about half the margin by which President Joe Biden led Trump around this time in the 2020 cycle. Trump, a real estate tycoon who was born in New York City, spent a sizable chunk of time in the Big Apple in recent years for a slew of court battles, making additional stops to boost his campaign along the way. His attorney and adviser, Alina Habba, spoke about the “lawfare” overshadowing Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign during her remarks at the Madison Square Garden on Sunday. “They thought they could take the greatest president down through lawfare, with lawsuits, fake charges, raids, and endless investigations,” Habba said. “They thought they could crush the man who built this city’s skyline,” she added. “But they underestimated how hard Trump would fight!” She also said: “They tried to keep President Trump and his campaign in courtrooms being persecuted. But, do you know what he did while he was in those New York courtrooms? He won the hearts and minds of the American people all from this city!” Ramaswamy and Habba were two of dozens of people lined up to speak at the rally in Madison Square Garden. Trump is expected to deliver remarks, as is Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), Trump’s running mate; tech billionaire Elon Musk; Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a longtime Democrat who ran an independent campaign for president before joining forces with Trump; and Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democrat congresswoman from Hawaii who recently joined the Republican Party; and many others.

NBC News Pollster Breaks Down ‘Broader Movement’ Favoring Trump In Polls

The polls are making a “potentially meaningful” shift in favor of former President Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris in the final stretch of the 2024 White House race, NBC News National Political Correspondent Steve Kornacki said on Sunday. During a segment on “Meet The Press,” Kornacki explained the significance of four recent surveys — polls from CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Siena, and CNN — all of which either showed Trump slightly ahead nationally, or the candidates in a tie. NBC's Kornacki: I Don't Want To Overstate Poll Movement In Trump's Direction But It's Hard To Ignore Polls here – https://t.co/PaqCqgCEzj pic.twitter.com/qL1s06pA7v — RCP Video (@rcpvideo) October 27, 2024 “One thing we have noticed in the last couple days, this is not all of the polls that are out there now, but we have seen a number — four in the last four days — that have shown very small – but in the context of this close race, potentially meaningful — movement in Trump’s direction,” Kornacki said. “I don’t want to overstate it, but at the same time, it’s hard to ignore these four,” he added. “The CNBC poll came out the other day, has Trump ahead by 2. The Wall Street Journal poll, Trump ahead by 3. These are national numbers. Siena and the New York Times, a tied race. CNN, a tied race. The significance here is broader movement, again, we’re seeing in Trump’s direction.” Harris leads in the national polls, albeit by a shrinking margin, but in the battleground states that will be critical for securing 270 mark to win the Electoral College the margins are “absolutely razor thin,” Kornacki said, displaying a graphic showing Trump with the advantage in Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina; Harris with the edge in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and a tie in Nevada. Nationally, Kornacki said, “We can show you from the CNBC poll, they picked up on something that our own NBC poll was suggesting recently, and that is a shift in the image of Kamala Harris. You could see right now in the CNBC poll, 42% positive, 48% negative. Higher negative than positive. That’s where Trump is too, largely: 39%, 49%. The significance is, about a month ago when we were polling this, Harris had a higher positive than negative. In our poll, in the CNBC poll, in other polls out there right now, we see Harris now with that negative going back above that positive rating.” Kornacki stressed that “tons of uncertainty and volatility remain in this race,” and he discussed how “from that CNBC poll, looking at this question of persuadable voters, defining them this way. How about this: 12% in the CNBC poll who currently say they support Harris or Trump say that they could change their mind, still, in this race. Another 6% say they’re undecided or currently going to vote for a third-party candidate. That’s a persuadable category of 18%. That’s getting close to one-in-five voters here. And the uncertainty is particularly acute for Donald Trump.” He added: “Maybe [Trump’s] made some gains here but his support continues to run deepest with voters who it is unclear if they’re actually going to turn out and vote. Look at it this way, from our NBC polling, a merge of all of our data, those who voted in the 2020 presidential election and the 2022 midterms, Harris with a 6-point lead. The most reliable bloc of voters. Those who only voted in the 2020 presidential, that’s where Trump opens up a lead. And then those who didn’t vote in either, that’s where Trump has his biggest advantage over Harris. Are they actually going to vote this time around? Huge question mark. Another way to look at it, we asked folks, scale of 1 to 10: your interest in this election. Again, look at this. Those who rate it the highest, 9 or 10, race is tied. Seven or 8, pretty high, Harris is ahead. Here’s where Trump cleans up: those who say 1 to 6. So again, Trump relying on a coalition that, if they turn out, could be powerful for him … but that’s a big if.”

JD Vance Slams Kristen Welker For Dishonest Question During Interview

Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) slammed NBC News host Kristen Welker during an interview on Sunday after she deceptively framed a question. The exchange happened on “Meet The Press” while the two were talking about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and what a Trump-Vance administration would do. Welker pressed Vance to call Russian President Vladimir Putin an “enemy” instead of an “adversary”. “Well, we’re not in a war with him, and I don’t want to be in a war with Vladimir Putin’s Russia,” he said. “I think that we should try to pursue avenues of peace.” “We can recognize, obviously, that we have adversarial interests with Russia,” he continued. “We can condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and I have, and of course the president has. But we also need to engage in some smart diplomacy if we’re ever going to get out of the mess that Kamala Harris has left us in and get back to a posture of peace.” Welker then falsely claimed that Russia invaded Ukraine under former President Donald Trump. “And, of course, Donald Trump was president for four years while Russia was essentially invading Crimea,” she falsely claimed. “Why didn’t he kick him out when he had the chance? He had four years.” Vance responded: “Oh, I think that that’s a misunderstanding of the history, Kristen. I look at that much differently.” “Well, there was fighting going on,” she said. “First of all, we had Russia invade another country, a sovereign nation, during Obama,” Vance correctly noted. “We had Russia invade a sovereign nation during Bush’s term. We had Russia invade a sovereign nation during the leadership of Kamala Harris.” “The one four-year term where Russia did not launch a full-scale invasion against a neighbor was under the leadership of Donald Trump,” he noted. “We also have to remember, just on that point, if Donald Trump had not given Ukraine javelins, the country would not exist as an independent sovereign nation anymore. So, the idea that Donald Trump wasn’t sufficiently strong on Russia I think is belied by the actual history of the period.” WATCH: NBC’s Kristen Welker LIES about the Crimean invasion, which happened under Obama n 2014, in order to firefight “Putin didn’t invade anybody while trump was in office”. pic.twitter.com/uvq1TDQwM9 — Jorge Bonilla (@BonillaJL) October 27, 2024

‘I’ve Got The Easiest Job In American Politics’: JD Vance Primes Rally Crowd For Trump At MSG

Republican Vice Presidential nominee and sitting Senator JD Vance (R-OH) warmed up an already-keyed-up crowd at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday, taking the stage ahead of his running mate, former President Donald Trump. Vance predicted a win for the Republican ticket on November 5, boasting that at least for the time being, he had “the easiest job in American politics”: reminding the American people how much easier, safer, and less expensive nearly everything had been when Trump was president before. “In just nine short days, we are going to turn the United States of America RED and make Donald J. Trump the president of the United States!” Vance began to raucous cheers and applause. WATCH: ? @JDVance: In just nine short days, we are going to turn the United States of America RED and make Donald J. Trump the president of the United States! pic.twitter.com/mmdpinx6ei — Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) October 27, 2024 Vance went on to list a number of famous people who had graced the stage at the New York City venue, from Elvis Presley to Muhammad Ali — and even gave a nod to the man who had just introduced him, the former pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan. “It’s an honor to be here at Madison Square Garden. Where we stand is where the greatest of all time Muhammad Ali faced Joe Frazier in the Fight of the Century. It’s where the King, Elvis Presley, played for 80,000 screaming fans,” Vance said. “It’s where the immortal Hulk Hogan pinned the Iron Sheik and let Hulkmania run wild. And now on the eve of the most important election of our history, the greatest champion of them all Donald J. Trump has come to Madison Square Garden.” .@JDVance: "It's an honor to be here at Madison Square Garden — Where we stand is where the greatest of all time Muhammad Ali faced Joe Frazier in the Fight of the Century. And according to the Ohio Senator, it was a pretty easy job. “My friends, I’ve got the easiest job in American politics. Think about this: All I’ve gotta do is remind people what life was like when Donald J. Trump was President of the United States. We had PEACE, we had PROSPERITY. Take home pay was rising the fastest that it had in 40 YEARS. Inflation was at 1.5%, the lowest that it had been in a generation. Gas and groceries were affordable.” “And when Donald Trump was president, we had the most secure border in the history of this country,” he added. “That’s the Donald Trump record, and that’s a record that’s gonna win.” WATCH: .@JDVance: "I've got the easiest job in American politics… All I've gotta do is remind people what life was like when Donald J. The Ohio Senator explained that selling a Harris presidency as a net positive would be no easy feat. “I’ve got to be honest, I feel a little bad for Governor Walz. And the reason I feel bad for him is because he has to defend the indefensible, and that is the record of Kamala Harris,” Vance said shortly after the vice-presidential debate.

Univision Anchor Laments Voters Don’t Read ‘The Economist’ Before Buying Groceries and Pumping Gas

Univision Anchor Laments Voters Don’t Read ‘The Economist’ Before Buying Groceries and Pumping Gas

Spanish-speaking media are very much part and parcel of the Regime Media. Proof evident of that is a recent panel exchange on Univision’s Sunday public affairs show Al Punto, where one of the anchors literally bemoaned the fact that voters don’t read The Economist before weighing in on the economy. Watch as weekend anchor Felix De Bedout talks down to voters: JORGE RAMOS: I want to ask you about the (Kamala Harris) camp- let’s see. FELIX DE BEDOUT: I want to- something on the economy. This is The Econ- this is the cover of The Economist. One of the world’s most important magazines on the economy. And what’s the (cover) title? “The Envy of the World.”  RAMOS: So the United States is the envy of the world. DE BEDOUT: America’s economy. The envy of the world. RAMOS: If you compare it, of course, with Europe and Latin America.  DE BEDOUT: And that is one of the biggest problems for the Biden Administration and for Kamala. They’ve not been able to explain where we’ve come from and why we are here. And, of course, because when people go grocery shopping, things are more expensive. Gas is more expensive. And they’re not reading The Economist. Al Punto recently underwent a format change, perhaps as a function of host Jorge Ramos leaving Univision and no longer being interested in hosting partisan talking heads. Instead of having campaign surrogates debate the issues of the day, Ramos now has his Univision colleagues in a roundtable format. The exchanges are sometimes predictable, sometimes interesting. Such is the case with weekend anchor De Bedout. Nothing screams being in touch with The People like complaining that they don’t read The Economist. One can reasonably infer that if the cost of food, gas, and groceries are substantially higher versus wages, and people are having a harder time to cover these, then perhaps there isn’t 12 bucks laying around for a copy of The Economist. Unfortunately for Univision’s viewers, they don’t have to worry about laying out for the latest issue because they can get browbeaten onTV for free.
