How do we sleep when our body and mind tell us that we are about to die? My friends, I have been here more times than I’d like to admit. With this, I have learned strategies to fall asleep again, as well as prayer that releases stress.

That such ridiculous comparisons can be uttered on national television without the speaker being laughed out of town makes a compelling case for mandatory civics education in all our schools.  But anyway. Here are David Muir and Donna Brazile on ABC, trying to make that point while calling Biden “a patriot who stepped in when democracy needed it.” ABC News anchor @DavidMuir cues up @donnabrazile to agree: “Tonight gratitude is the word for so many people in this country, pointing to Joe Biden now and calling him a patriot who stepped in when democracy needed it.” pic.twitter.com/1DkXIMMAcF — Brent Baker ?? ?? (@BrentHBaker) July 25, 2024 ABC News titled their special broadcast “The Decision”, which was weird given that Biden had already announced that he was taking his talents to Rehoboth Beach. NBC News did the “no campaign speech” fakery as well, while echoing some of Biden’s inflammatory rhetoric. NBC double-lies in claiming "It wasn't a campaign speech" ...but Biden implied the Republican nominee has no character and stands in opposition to freedom and justice (and democracy). Pritzker for attacks against Trump. CBS "News" put on J.B. Pritzker to make more campaign speeches and trash Trump. Norah O'Donnell, typically offended by Trump criticizing Kamala as a radical lunatic, simply cues the Democrat to rebut.
