In an interview shared in the same post, Kennedy said the victory on the first day of Pride Month “symbolizes everything” because the Miss Universe Organization “has now celebrated ‘woman’ universally, no matter their age, no matter their gender or their marital status.” “As a military spouse and as a proud trans woman, I hope to display this in a positive light and as an immigrant myself – the immigrant tenacity, I hope to showcase that to people, and hopefully inspire somebody along the way,” Kennedy added. When speaking with DC News Now, Kennedy said the moment of victory was like “a whirlwind, because I knew it was bigger than me, Cory. I know that it’s gonna mean a lot for all the LGBT kids out there who might have felt different and might feel like they don’t belong in a box, like me growing up, so I hope that my win will be a delicious invitation for them to be themselves.” So there you go, Fox News says it’s a “transgender woman” so that’s the term we will use. I still don’t think either situation is healthy nor do I believe either should be promoted or applauded or rewarded. So there’s a reason I put “Miss” in quotes in the title of this article….because I actually believe it’s so appropriate here. While the term ostensibly means Miss as in the title for a young woman, I think it more aptly means a “Swing and a Miss” here.  Twice. Congratulations on the crowns….

You learn something new every day… And this was a big one for me. In hindsight, it makes perfect sense but I had never really thought about it. In fact, when someone started telling me about this, I said “Wait, hold up…say that again?  What did you say?” And so they told me again….and then I researched it…..and this article is the result of that journey. Some of you may already know this but this may be a similar stunning wake up call for many of you like it was for me. (Be sure to read to the end because I’m not just going to give you the problem, I’m going to give you the solution!) So basically, the premise is this: studies have now shown that many popular makeup brands have “EDCs” in them. EDC stands for Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals. According to EHN.org, Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals can have the following major health consequences: For the reproductive system, these harms include: Genital malformations Cancers of the reproductive organs Early female puberty Early menopause Lowered sperm counts Infertility Miscarriage Low birth weights These chemicals are also linked to many inflammatory and chronic diseases, including: Obesity and other forms of metabolic dysfunction Diabetes Cardiovascular disease Hormone-sensitive cancers Autoimmune disorders Allergies and asthma EDCs can also harm the brain and nervous system. Prenatal and childhood exposure is linked to: Lower IQ Memory and attention deficits Developmental delays Depression Neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s Take a look at that first grouping and then ask yourself if it’s any wonder so many young couples are suddenly facing infertility issues. It’s such a private thing that people don’t talk about very often, but I would bet you probably know someone in your life right now facing infertility issues. And the cause may be EDCs…. Specifically, the EDCs that we are rubbing all over our skin each day! The enemy is within the building folks! So, amidst all the buzz, everyone’s eyes are on Trump as he gets ready to reveal his running mate for the upcoming presidential race. Some advisors are admitting they’re in the dark, hinting that maybe he hasn’t made up his mind yet. This only adds to the suspense around the announcement. Now, the Ohio Senator, JD Vance, has seen a sudden and dramatic rise in his odds of becoming Trump’s VP pick. His odds have shot up by almost 300%. That puts him in the lead with a 31% chance of being selected and ahead of the other potential candidates. Still, it all comes down to who meant to be picked by Trump. Selection would position Vance to be the standard-bearer of Trumpism after Trump and a favorite for the Republican presidential nomination in 2028. “He is a younger and more articulate version of Trump,” Republican pollster Frank Luntz said of Vance, who at 39 years old is the second-youngest member of the Senate. As Democrats remain in a frenzy over the prospect of either allowing the cognitively deficient Joe Biden remain their party’s candidate in November or attempting to find a suitable replacement, a number of potential names have begun to surface. One popular choice among leftists is California Gov. Gavin Newsom, whom some have suggested could form a ticket with Vice President Kamala Harris. This week, however, Sen. Marco Rubio, mentioned alongside several others as Donald Trump’s possible running mate, dismissed such a scenario. According to Fox News: Rubio, who is reportedly among the top contenders being considered as former President Trump’s vice presidential pick, was confronted during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” on whether he’d move out of Florida or resign his U.S. Senate seat if he does become the running mate. CNN host Dana Bash pointed to how the U.S. Constitution says presidential electors cannot vote for a president and a vice president who are both from the same state. Rubio and Trump are both residents of Florida. “That’s presumptuous … I have no idea who he’s going to pick,” Rubio said. “But I think it’s comforting for Americans to know that when Kamala Harris becomes their nominee, she can’t pick [California Gov.] Gavin Newsom because I don’t think we can afford, as a country, to have two Californians with their crazy policies become the law of the land.” While Trump could theoretically shift his primary residence to one of his other homes in a different state and select a Floridian to fill out the ticket, there’s no evidence that either Newsom or Harris could do the same.
