Pro-Israel students at the University of Southern California (USC) gathered together on Wednesday to march for the return of the innocent Israelis still held captive by Hamas, standing in stark contrast to the pro-Palestine protests that have erupted across college campuses around the nation, wreaking havoc, causing graduation ceremony cancellations, and bringing violence to school grounds. Pursuit Church teamed up with Christian worship artist Sean Feucht to hold the “United for Israel March” on Wednesday, where hundreds of both local and traveling pro-Israel marchers gathered by USC to stand in solidarity with those who lost their lives on October 7, as well as those still being held by Hamas terrorists. Feucht led worship songs at the start of the event before the march began. Later, marchers gathered outside the front gates of USC as the school's four-day long graduation ceremony series began. USC students in particular have been relatively vocal about their anti-Israel stance. In April more than 90 people were arrested during a protest at the campus after setting up illegal encampments on the school grounds. During the same month, USC even canceled its official commencement ceremony amid concerns of violence and noted that the valedictorian speech, which was set to be given by an outwardly pro-Palestine activist, was canceled, too. In the same vein, back in November, a Jewish professor at USC was banned from teaching on campus for the rest of the fall semester after comments he made against Hamas went viral. Jewish Lives Matter.” Staff and members of the group Concerned Women for America, which seeks to "protect and promote Biblical values and Constitutional principles through prayer, education, and advocacy," attended the event and held signs that read “CWA Stands with Israel!” Paige Nelson, CWA’s Executive Assistant to the VP and Development Project Manager, issued a statement to MRCTV after attending the event herself: It is no secret that since October 7, 2023, antisemitism in the United States has spiked, specifically targeting Jewish students and faculty at some of our most esteemed institutions. Pro-Hamas protests are breaking out, coating these campuses in violence and hysteria, and creating dangerous environments for the Jewish community to exist. Yesterday’s march was the complete opposite and a testament to our God not being finished with His people. Christians and Jews gathered together in prayer and worship - acknowledging that we serve the same good Father and have power in numbers. The march was filled with joy and laughter, unity and peace. There were no arrests, blocking traffic, or disgracing the American flag. Like Nelson said, the violence many of the pro-Gaza protestors exude is not necessary, as demonstrated by the pro-Israel group. “There were no arrests, blocking traffic, or disgracing the American flag,” she said about Wednesday’s march. MRC contributing writer Stephanie Hamill was a guest on Tuesday’s The Balance on Newsmax with host Eric Bolling where they examined recent racist remarks made by New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) during a forum in California where she said there are black kids growing up in the Bronx who ‘don’t even know what the word computer is.’  KATHY HOCHUL: In fact, I talk to a lot of other people who say, “I wish my governor had thought of that first”, and I say, “No no, this is New York. We like to be first, with all due respect to people from other states. It's sort of- it's sort of our attitude. You know, “we will be the best- we will be the first”. And I want others to follow because right now we have, you know, young black kids growing up in The Bronx who don't even know what the word “computer” is. They- they don't know- they don't know these things, and I want the world to open up to all of them because when you have their diverse voices innovating solutions through technology, then you're really addressing society's broader challenges. While most of the major mainstream media outlets initially covered her remarks and apology this week, it appears many have moved on as there haven't been any follow-ups.  One could only imagine what the coverage would look like if it were a Republican who said what she said. One could assume there would be wall to wall news coverage or even calls for her to resign.

What a grotesque and evil concept.” I pray for the day that pro-aborts either wake up or stop ignoring the realities of what abortion is. Until then, that population, the most vulnerable population in our society, is under eminent risk with mindsets like Kennedy’s.  

Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski reacted to Rumble being banned from Russia over its adamant free speech stance. On May 7, Pavlovski addressed an X Spaces hosted by social media personality Mario Nawfal. During the Spaces, Pavlovski was asked to explain why his platform was banned from Russia as well as his company’s experiences with other countries demanding censorship. He mentioned that one of the accounts was banned over a marijuana related issue. “Another account seemed to be some conspiracy channel, but I’m not sure because it was in a different language … and the other channel seemed to be an Arabic channel that was political in the Arabic language,” Pavlovski added. “Those were the types of channels that they wanted us to remove, and we didn’t see that they violated any of our terms of service, so we ignored the orders, and then they shut us off at the IP level.” Pavlovski was also asked if he received similar requests from Western governments. While he denied receiving any direct orders, Pavlovski pointed out that censorship in the West is conducted using an entirely different model from traditionally autocratic countries. “The way the U.S. market tries to impose censorship is by using media organizations to try to do hit jobs on your company,” Pavlovski said. “So they’ll bring up this person or that person or this piece of content, and they’ll write up a whole article about one video that they found on your platform out of millions, so the way censorship moves in America is through using media organizations. The media organizations are the entities that push censorship across all the Big Tech platforms.” He added that “the Big Tech platforms are scared shitless of the media organizations, and that’s what gets them to buckle.” Conservatives are under attack. For weeks, the liberal media have had their eye on November as they’ve been trying to get President Biden to abandon Israel in hopes of getting the pro-Hamas votes in swing states like Michigan and Wisconsin. ABC’s Good Morning America seemed relieved on Thursday as they hyped Biden’s threat to stop sending weapons to Israel if they attacked Hamas’s final stronghold. They even noted the threat came as their latest poll showed former President Trump edged out on trust to handle the war. “This is President Biden's most direct warning to Israel since the start of this war and it could set up a historic clash with this critical ally,” boasted Biden’s chief apple polisher, ABC chief White House correspondent Mary Bruce. Biden’s latest comments about Israel also scratched ABC’s anti-American itch, because it allowed them to suggest that America had teamed up with the bad guys: BRUCE: For weeks, Biden warned Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu not to invade Rafah where over 1 million civilians are seeking refuge. And he's already taking action, halting a shipment of 3,500 U.S. bombs, fearing American weapons could be used against civilians. Something Biden now concedes has already happened. BIDEN: Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a consequence of those bombs and other ways in which they go after population centers. On the timing of the threat, Bruce noted that “Biden's stark warning comes as he faces growing criticism at home over his steadfast support for Israel. Our latest poll finding voters now trust Donald Trump more to handle this war.”     To the question “Trust more to handle Israel-Hamas War,” Trump led with a plurality of 37 percent to Biden’s 29. Meanwhile, 33 percent responded “neither.”  The poll, which was conducted between April 25-30 had a margin of error of two percent. Bruce concluded the segment by trying to have her cake and eat it too: Now, the President says the U.S. will still continue to provide for Israel's defense, like the Iron Dome missile system. But after months of urging Israel to do more to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, President Biden is adamant: if Netanyahu invades Rafah, the U.S. will not supply offensive weapons to Israel. There was similar hype for the threats against Israel on CBS Mornings, where foreign correspondent Ramy Inocencio seemed to revel in how “angry reactions are flying from Israel’s far-right politicians to President Biden.” He also seemed to tout how others say “Israel may have already lost in terms of its international standing” and that it was “an incredible achievement for Hamas.” Over on NBC’s Today, Gabe Gutierrez marveled: “For weeks the White House has said that it opposes a large-scale assault on Rafah, but President Biden is now taking a much harder line, threatening to withhold more weapons from Israel…” The transcript is below. March 29 started out like any other work day for Miurell Vargas — that is, until she got word that a crook had broken into her car and made off with her bag and wallet. With that, Vargas — a 26-year-old powerlifter, WTVJ-TV said — got into her car and started driving around in search of someone carrying her Nike bag, WFOR-TV reported. Vargas added to WTVJ that she wasn't concerned about money in her wallet — instead there was something inside it that's irreplaceable. Something she was willing to literally fight for: "My mom’s picture was in my wallet. And my mom passed away eight years ago." Then things got quite a bit more complicated. Amid her intense search, Vargas hit a vehicle near NW 2nd Avenue and 22nd Lane in the Miami neighborhood of Wynwood, WTVJ said. It's quite likely that Vargas spotted the crook around the time of the crash, because video shows her quickly exiting her totaled car and confronting the crook on a sidewalk right there at the intersection. "So ... he put his hand behind [him], and I thought he was gonna pull out a gun or a knife. So, that's when I started punching him — because it was either me or him." Police soon arrested the suspect, identified as 41-year-old Luis Machado, WTVJ said, adding that he got himself a black eye for his troubles. "He admitted to having some of the victim's property, but then he claims he didn’t know how the property became in his possession, which obviously were conflicting statements that didn’t make sense,” Kiara Delva with Miami police added to WFOR. The arrest report states Machado is accused of smashing Vargas' car window while she was at work and stealing a bag and wallet from her, WFOR noted, adding that he was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and petty theft. The car belonging to the other driver was totaled in the crash, too, WFOR said. But no serious injuries were reported, WTVJ said, adding that Vargas was ticketed for the accident. “I just want to say sorry to the person that I crashed into," Vargas told WTVJ. “She gave me a hug. She was very nice. As the news finally begins to catch up with the “anti-vaxxers” of 2024, public figures who at one time shamed those unwilling to take the vaccines are now pretending to support them. In a podcast with Andrew Cuomo, former Commissioner of the Baltimore City Health Department Leana Wen did just this. Wen claimed that vaccines, masks, and natural immunity “are actually not controversial, but they’re more debatable.” “For a long time, it was taboo to bring it up for fear that you might be called an anti-vaxxer, and so I think that public trust has been eroded,” she said. Not so long ago, Wen was telling Chris Cuomo on CNN a much different story. Cuomo has also now renounced his prior views on COVID and life-saving drugs like ivermectin — claiming he now takes it regularly himself. “We need to start looking at the choice to remain unvaccinated the same as we look at driving while intoxicated, that you have the option to not get vaccinated if you want, but then you can’t go out in public,” Wen told Cuomo. Steve Deace is not only not buying it, but he’s far from amused. “I want to literally see everybody in those videos just put on trial for their lives,” Deace says. “First of all, is it a good idea to turn a woman whose highest professional accomplishment was overseeing one of the worst serial killers in human history and turning her into a public health expert?” But why are these public figures suddenly coming forward? “Because they’re not afraid of that. They can gaslight you because the people have spoken and said, ‘No, we’re not going to hold you accountable.’ So, that’s why we’re getting any of this whatsoever from these people. A college student teared up when she explained what the school was doing to punish her after she was arrested at the encampment that was set up at Arizona State University to protest Israel's war in Gaza.ASU senior Breanna Brocker was among the 20 students who were arrested when law enforcement cleared the campus of the camp. She told ABC15 Arizona last Friday she will not be able to graduate because the suspension she received will cause her to miss her final exam."I'm a 2020 high school grad so I wasn't able to walk then. And so, you know, here it is, I'm not able to walk now.""I am little disappointed ... I ... I'm being restricted from a lot of thing right now that I didn't expect to be for standing up for something I believe in. I have family coming in who I have to let them know to not come to my graduation ceremonies," Brocker explained."I'm just disappointed. I mean, I'm a 2020 high school grad so I wasn't able to walk then. And so, you know, here it is, I'm not able to walk now," she added.Brocker did say even knowing the consequences of not leaving the illegal encampment, she would still do what she did, "even if it means something negative to me." But the injunction was denied.ASU defended the decision to clear out the occupiers because the encampment was "more than a protest.""There were multiple violations of university or ABOR policy including tents, overnight presence, creating a university disturbance and being in a reservable space that wasn’t reserved by ASU students, per policy. The unlawful assembly remained well past the 11 p.m. cutoff time established by policy," ASU said."ASU’s first priority is to create a safe and secure environment for all those on campus," the school continued. "This includes addressing the safety of individuals who come to campus to speak, listen, protest and counter-protest. After all-day discussions about the need to remove the encampment, protestors – most of whom were not students -- were told at least 20 times over loudspeakers that the encampment was an unlawful assembly and they had to disperse or face arrest. Donald Trump's attorney, Todd Blanche, stated Wednesday that the defense will again request a mistrial of the New York criminal case against the former president, according to live updates from the courthouse.On Tuesday, Trump's defense team requested a mistrial over porn actress Stormy Daniels' testimony, Blaze News previously reported. During the prosecution's direct examination, Daniels stated that she "blacked out" during her alleged sexual encounter with Trump. She also mentioned that his comparably larger stature created an "imbalance of power.""It almost defies belief that we're here about a records case. ... This is not a case about sex," Blanche remarked.Blanche argued that Daniels' Tuesday testimony on the witness stand differed from previous public comments she had made about the alleged affair with Trump. He further claimed that Daniels provided details about the alleged encounter that were not relevant to the indictment.Trump was charged with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records concerning payments made to his former attorney, Michael Cohen. Cohen claimed that he received payment from Trump as reimbursement for a $130,000 so-called hush money payment to Daniels to keep quiet about the alleged affair.The former president has denied the affair allegations and pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.Blanche told acting Justice Juan Merchan on Tuesday, "We move for a mistrial based on the testimony of this witness. … A lot of the testimony that this witness talked about today is way different than the story she was peddling in 2016.""She talked about a consensual encounter with President Trump that she was trying to sell, ... and that's not the story she told today," he continued. "But now we've heard it. And it is an issue. How can you unring the bell?"Merchan denied the defense's request for a mistrial and blamed Trump's attorneys for not objecting more during Daniels' testimony.On Thursday morning, the defense's cross-examination of Daniels continued. After the conclusion of her testimony, Blanche stated that the defense planned to renew its motion for a mistrial over Daniels' statements. The attorney also said they would reintroduce a motion to block testimony from former Playboy model Karen McDougal, who also claimed she received so-called hush money to stay quiet about an alleged affair with Trump.The prosecution informed Blanche that they do not plan to call McDougal as a witness."She was on our witness list, but we have never indicated an actual intention to call her," prosecutor Joshua Steinglass stated.Blanche also said the defense would like to raise an issue regarding the judge's gag order against Trump. Blanche requested that Trump "be allowed to respond publicly" to Daniels' testimony. He noted that the former president will be "asked repeatedly over the next week or two about these new accusations of consent and of what happened that night.""He is not allowed to say, 'I did not do that,'" Blanche told Merchan."The press reporting over the last 24 hours about the current version of the story that we believe is completely false … is completely different in kind than the denials and stories that have come forth since as far back as 2011 and 2014," Blanche continued. Prosecutor Chris Conroy claimed that Trump should be replying to Daniels' testimony in court and not to the media."If somebody wants to respond to something said in this room, that can happen in this room. It's not supposed to happen out there," Conroy stated. He claimed that lifting the gag order would have "very real consequences for witnesses."Merchan denied Blanche's request to modify the gag order."My concern is not just with protecting Ms. Daniels or a witness who has already testified. My concern is with protecting the integrity of these proceedings as a whole," Merchan told Blanche. "Other people will see you doing it. … Other witnesses, including not only Michael Cohen, other witnesses will see your client doing whatever it is he intends to do.""The nature, the vitriol … your client's track record speaks for itself here. I can't take your word for it that he says I'm just going to speak the facts," Merchan added.Blanche then renewed his request for a mistrial over Daniels' testimony, stating that she presented a new account of her story. He claimed her statements on the witness stand insinuated that the "completely made-up encounter with President Trump may not have been consensual.""It almost defies belief that we're here about a records case and the government is asking about an incident that happened in 2006," Blanche argued. "This is not a case about sex."Blanche said Daniels' "out of control" testimony was a "dog whistle for rape."Merchan denied the defense team's request for a mistrial."The more specificity Ms. Daniels can provide about the encounter, the more the jury can weigh whether the encounter did occur and if so whether they choose to credit Ms. Daniels' story," the judge remarked.
