Candice Bergen’s Husband And Famed Philanthropist Marshall Rose Loses Battle With Parkinson’s

On February 15, 2025, Candice Bergen lost her husband after a years-long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Marshall Rose, 88, reportedly passed away surrounded by his family in his New York City home. Marshall had a successful career in real estate and was a well-known philanthropist. His obituary reads, “His dedication to New York City and the people who live there guided his career, philanthropy, and personal life.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Candice (@bergenbags) Candice Bergen And Her Husband Shared 25 Years Of Marriage Candice shares a daughter with her first husband, Louis Malle. He died in 1995 after a battle with cancer. Candice Bergen married her second husband in September 2000, and they shared a happy life. His obituary captures his spirit. “Marshall was a profoundly good man,” it reads. “Friends and colleagues looked to him as a mentor, and he consistently modeled a life worth emulating. His effortless gravitas paired with his quick humor and genuine respect for all individuals made him a gifted and compelling leader. A dedicated father and grandfather, Marshall had high expectations for those around him. As a doting dog father to his beloved Goldendoodle, Jerry, he instilled similarly high expectations.” Candice Bergen and her husband weren’t much for social media, but a fan commented condolences on an older picture she posted of Marshall a few years back on Instagram. They wrote, “You have my condolences as a family, and this be the death of a great man, so may his eternal life be joyful always, Amen.” Candice Bergen’s husband loved books, reading, and knowledge. His family hopes to continue that legacy after his death. “In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate a donation to the New York Public Library, an institution he loved so dearly. Any gifts given in his honor (nypl.org/memorial) will be earmarked for adult literacy programs at branches across the five boroughs.” This story’s featured image is by Christopher Polk/Variety via Getty Images. Meghan Markle Shares Photos Of Princess Lilibet & Prince Archie For Valentine’s Day

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may not show their kids on social media often, but that doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy every moment as parents. The decision about putting your children online is personal and can cause spirited discussions among parents. And that is for us regular folks. Many famous parents will keep their children off the internet for their safety, and it’s a decision that should be respected. Meghan Markle shared photos of her kids on her Instagram story for Valentine’s Day but made sure to keep their faces hidden. The family seemed to have a sweet day filled with hearts, love, and fun. Instagram Meghan Markle And Her Kids Seemed To Enjoy The Day Valentine’s Day can be polarizing, but Meghan Markle wanted to make it memorable for her kids. Her son Archie, 5, and daughter Lilibet, 3, were decked out in red and hearts as they ate holiday-themed treats. Meghan ensured her kids had red marbled bagels with pink cream cheese and strawberries cut into heart shapes. It had all the makings of a core childhood memory. Instagram Earlier in the Day, Meghan shared Valentine’s greeting for her husband, Prince Harry. Although he was away at the Invictus Games in Vancouver, his bride made sure to send a message of love. Instagram “Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families. Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created. My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you,” she wrote. If Valentine’s Day is any indication, Meghan Markle and the kids have something fun and sweet planned for Harry’s homecoming. This story’s featured image is by Aaron Chown/PA Images via Getty Images. Off-duty cop shoots Florida HS student during pre-dawn 'Senior Assassins' game; student mistaken for prowler, had water gun

An off-duty agent from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement shot a high school student in the arm last week during a pre-dawn game of "Senior Assassins," the Nassau County Sheriff's Office said. In the game, players carry fake guns such as water pistols, conceal their identities, run through areas, and hide in obscure places, Fox News said. The object is to tag or shoot other players, authorities said. 'These types of games may seem innocent, but when you have young people sneaking around in the dark carrying objects that could be mistaken for weapons, you're creating a potentially deadly situation.' Florida State Attorney Melissa Nelson said the game is gaining popularity among high school students across northern Florida and throughout the country, the cable network added. Sheriff Bill Leeper said the FDLE agent in question encountered what appeared to be three prowlers outside the agent's residence on Purple Martin Drive in Yulee just before 6 a.m. Wednesday. Immediately following the shooting, the off-duty agent began administering first aid, the sheriff's office said. Arriving investigators discovered the wounded individual was an 18-year-old Bishop Kenny High School student. The school is in Jacksonville, which is in Duval County, but the sheriff's office said the "target" of the game was a fellow student who lives in Nassau County. The wounded student's injuries were not life-threatening, the sheriff's office said. 'Potentially deadly situation' “These types of games may seem innocent, but when you have young people sneaking around in the dark carrying objects that could be mistaken for weapons, you're creating a potentially deadly situation,” Leeper said. He added that "thankfully the student will survive, but this incident demonstrates exactly why parents need to take this seriously and speak to their kids about the dangers of these types of games. The next time this happens it could be someone's life.” The Nassau County Sheriff's Office said it's working with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Office of the State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit on the investigation and will release additional information as it becomes available. Anything else? Law enforcement officers have tied the game to incidents such as reckless driving and trespassing on private property and are asking parents and elected officials to discourage kids from playing, Fox News said. "Across the country, there have been tragedies and near-tragedies that have occurred as a result," Nelson said during a Thursday news conference, according to the cable network. "In one instance, a teen player was paralyzed when the father of a [player] shot him, mistaking the game for a criminal assault." Fox News, citing police, said a group of high school students wearing ski masks and carrying water pistols disguised as guns walked into an Illinois restaurant last year seeking fellow teens involved in the game. A restaurant costumer carrying a concealed weapon mistook the students for a legitimate threat, the cable network said, adding that no one was harmed. "[We] would like to emphasize that the depiction of firearms, whether real or imitation, in any public setting, is a matter of concern and may instill fear among the public," the Gurnee Police Department said in a statement, according to Fox News. "We urge community members to reconsider their participation in such activities and recognize the seriousness of their actions." Like Blaze News? Sheryl Crow sells off Tesla car and donates money in protest against Elon Musk

Singer Sheryl Crow posted a video of herself waving goodbye to her Tesla electric car in protest against Elon Musk and the policies of the Trump administration. Some on the left have turned on their Tesla vehicles after Musk, who owns the company, aligned himself with the Trump campaign and has since become the head of President Donald Trump's department to root out waste and fraud. 'In hopes that the truth will continue to find its way to those willing to know the truth.' The 63-year-old Nashville-based celebrity posted the video on her official Instagram account where she has more than 678k followers. “My parents always said ... you are who you hang out with," she wrote Saturday. “There comes a time when you have to decide who you are willing to align with. So long Tesla."She went on to refer to Musk as "president," a common liberal criticism against his prominent role in the administration. "Money donated to @npr, which is under threat by President Musk, in hopes that the truth will continue to find its way to those willing to know the truth," she added. Many on the right have been calling for the federal government to stop funding NPR on the basis that much of its reporting is biased to the left. In April, Republican Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana lambasted NPR CEO and president Katherine Maher as a "radical, left-wing activist" who is opposed to free speech and objective journalism. "Katherine Maher isn't qualified to teach an introductory journalism class, much less capable of responsibly spending millions of American tax dollars," he wrote. Tesla sales have suffered since the election, causing the stock to drop by 21% and lowering Musk's net worth by about $100 billion according to some estimates. Like Blaze News?
