The under-seat compartment has been enlarged by 23% to 37.6 liters, and the right-front storage compartment has been increased by 346% to 4.7 liters, while the left-front storage compartment has also been slightly enlarged.   Under-seat storage capacity is now 37.6 liters, enough room to accommodate a 15-inch laptop. The seat has been reshaped and has a lower height at 30.1 inches (down from 30.5 inches). Also new is a standard manually adjustable windscreen.  Controls on the left side of the handlebar operate the TFT instrumentation. The Premium package includes heated grips, a heated seat, a 10.25-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, and a luggage grid. The Style Exclusive option includes an adjustable tinted windscreen, gold-colored wheels and brake calipers, plus floor lighting with a BMW logo projection or stainless-steel floorboard inserts. BMW also offers plenty of accessories to customize the C 400 GT, like a new 43.5-liter top case with lighting and a USB-C charging port, an anti-theft alarm, hand guards, and more.  The standard windscreen is manually adjustable to two positions. The vote is expected to take place tonight on the *new* “American Relief Act of 2024”. After major pushback from President Trump and his allies in DOGE, and a social media storm raging against the spineless kowtowing of House Republicans, a new spending bill was quickly introduced. Democrats (and House RINOs) have begun their offended whine sessions, complaining that they are no longer able to ramrod through whatever pork piles they so desire. President Trump, however, made sure to mark the occasion with a pointed post on social media — lest anyone mistake what just happened for anything less than a VICTORY! In case that’s a bit tough to read, here’s a text transcript: SUCCESS in Washington! Speaker Mike Johnson and the House have come to a very good Deal for the American People. The newly agreed to American Relief Act of 2024 will keep the Government open, fund our Great Farmers and others, and provide relief for those severely impacted by the devastating hurricanes. A VERY important piece, VITAL to the America First Agenda, was added as well – The date of the very unnecessary Debt Ceiling will be pushed out two years, to January 30, 2027. Not only would the pork-filled spending bills of decades past no longer be tolerated as just something you had to accept — the “cost of doing business” in Washington DC… But the Republicans in the House just got a taste of what’s going to happen if they drop the ball on voting this Trump-approved bill through, tonight. Dan Bongino, along with many others, weighed in this morning on the fear tactics used in Congress for far too long, and the continual draining of the American tax payer for outlandish Congressional spending. It seems as though “plan B” was sitting there all along, and “plan A” was nothing more than an attempt to test whether or not they could push through more of that “business as usual”. The old bill had tons of extra “add-ons”, according to a report in The Hill: After pressure from President-elect Trump and his allies resulted in the demise of the bipartisan spending bill before it could go to the House floor for a vote, House Republicans have reached an agreement on a “plan B” to avert a government shutdown. This new 116-page bill comes just hours ahead of Friday’s funding deadline. The plan is to vote on Thursday, lawmakers announced. The new package will extend government funding for three months and suspend the debt limit until January 2027. The previous iteration of the package was a 1,500-page bill that included a number of add-ons, including more than $100 billion in disaster and emergency funding, a health care-related package, and an extension of the Farm Bill. An important part of the new bill is that it extends the debt limit for a full two years, giving President Trump enough time to enact the lasting changes he ran his campaign on. One such “trap” was language that would have blocked RFK Jr’s plan to update how vaccine injuries are handled, and litigated. Trump praised the deal minutes after Fox News Digital reported its contents. Trump said of the deal, “Speaker Mike Johnson and the House have come to a very good Deal for the American People. It comes after conservatives led by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy torpedoed Speaker Mike Johnson’s initial government funding plan on Wednesday, prompting fears of a partial government shutdown right before the holidays. GOP hardliners were furious about what they saw as unrelated measures and policy riders being added to the bill at the last minute. House lawmakers could vote on the new bill as early as Thursday evening. Ironically, as President Trump actively orchestrated the defeat of the initial bill and pushed for its replacement, the Biden’s weren’t even in the Capital. Joe & Jill Biden were filmed leaving their Delaware home on the way back to the White House only because it looked like the government shut down would happen. Democrats had every intention of blaming the shut down on Republicans, after President Trump and his allies pushed those same Republicans to grow a backbone and stop needlessly gifting the democrats everything they demanded. If my math is right, Joe & Jill Biden were on their way back to the White House where they intended on using the pending government shut down to attack President Trump and Republicans, when the news broke that the shut down had been averted. And not just averted — but completely de-porked and shaved down to a streamlined bill, devoid of democrat traps. We are weeks away from President Trump’s inauguration, and already we have seen the effects of good leadership versus the limp-wristed political drama of the Biden and Harris regime. President Donald Trump blasted Texas Congressman Chip Roy on Truth Social. He called him out for getting in the way of GOP efforts. Not only that, but said he was seeking cheap publicity and aiding Democrats. Then President Trump urged Republicans to prioritize “America First” and warned against bowing to Democratic demands. And even if it means a temporary government shutdown. Funny thing how the people against a government shutdown are the same people that were all for shutting down the economy a few years ago. President Trump is making it clear, RINOs will be called out. No more hiding. Republican obstructionists have to be done away with. The Democrats are using them, and we can’t let that happen. It looks like they lied to you (and me) again! Of course, that’s not really surprising at this point, but it is interesting they’re now admitting it. Why? Turns out that after telling us we only had 900 US troops in Syria for the past year (which is still 900 too many), it turns out we actually had over 2,000! The exact number is unknown and “over 2,000” could mean a lot of things. The Pentagon had been asked repeatedly in recent days and weeks about the U.S. presence in Syria and never disclosed the dramatic increase. Ryder said the additional forces had been in Syria “at a minimum months — it’s been going on for awhile.” He told reporters the increase in forces was temporary and they are there to augment the U.S. operations against the Islamic State group. He said U.S. Army conventional and special operations forces make up the bulk of the additional troops. Rebel forces overthrew Assad two weeks ago. In the days since, Israel and Turkey have both launched military operations inside Syria’s borders, including Tel Aviv’s airstrikes against weapons facilities in the east that belonged to Assad’s regime and Turkey’s offensive in the northeast against Kurdish forces, who have partnered with the U.S. in its fight against the Islamic State. … President-elect Donald Trump tried to withdraw forces from Syria during his first term, which drove former Defense Secretary Jim Mattis to resign in protest, and as he prepares to return to the White House, Trump has said he does not support U.S. forces getting more involved in Syria.
