The response from the Left to the assassination of conservative commentator and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk has been nothing short of sickening. They have justified and even celebrated his death — and some have begun to face consequences for their actions. MSNBC’s Matthew Dowd was the first domino to fall, after he essentially argued during live coverage of the assassination that Kirk had encouraged the politically-motivated violence that claimed his life. A number of others have either been terminated or suspended — and calls are still going out for more to come. Clemson University stopped short of firing anyone who posted celebratory comments after Kirk’s murder, saying in a statement that unless the post was considered to be a “genuine threat which is not protected by the Constitution,” there was no need for the university to take any action. An Office Depot employee from Portage, Michigan, no longer has a job after refusing to print a poster for a local memorial service for assassinated conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, hosted by Michigan Forward. The employee, a woman who was only ever identified as “one of the managers,” explained on camera that the store could not print a poster for the event because it was “propaganda.” The poster in question had already been paid for and featured a photo of Kirk along with the following words: “The Legendary Charlie Kirk, 1993-2025.” Michigan Forward shared video of the exchange, along with a caption that read, “A team member ordered and paid for a poster to be printed at @officedepot so he could bring it to a vigil for Charlie Kirk tonight in Michigan. The employee nodded her head emphatically and assured him, “It’s propaganda, sorry, we don’t print that here.” “All right, so, can we have — what’s your name?” the person holding the camera walked closer. A nearby male employee identified himself as the “print supervisor” and the female added, “I’m one of the managers, so, I’m sort of — unfortunately, we do not print —” “So, they say they do not print political propaganda — so this is somebody that passed away,” the Michigan Forward member protested. “That’s political propaganda, I’m sorry —” the manager insisted. The Michigan Forward member tried a different tack: “So this is for a prayer tonight. For a prayer vigil —” “MmHmm, it’s still propaganda,” she repeated. A female voice from behind the camera asked the employee to explain what made the poster “propaganda,” and the manager claimed that Kirk — who had never run for elected office — was a “political figure” and then argued that she did not have to offer any further explanation as to how that made a simple photo of him “propaganda.” The male employee jumped in then, saying that the store manager would be in by Monday. Video of the exchange quickly went viral, however, prompting a response from Office Depot’s corporate headquarters. The behavior displayed by our associate is completely unacceptable and insensitive, violates our company policies, and does not reflect the values we uphold at Office Depot. It went on to reveal that the “manager” involved in the confrontation had been let go.

Tyler Robinson, the suspected killer of popular conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, lived with a transgender-identifying partner, according to reports. Robinson, who authorities arrested on Thursday night, “lived with his transgender partner,” Fox News reporter Brooke Singman posted on X, citing unnamed sources. “The individual, who is a male transitioning to a female, is fully cooperating with the FBI,” Singman said of the suspected shooter’s apparent romantic partner. The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh said he also confirmed the identity of Robinson’s partner. “I’ve independently confirmed that Charlie Kirk’s assassin did in fact have a transgender boyfriend. This is LGBT extremism. A lot more will be revealed soon. The ‘far right’ narrative is absolute bulls***. Not even close to true. Don’t fall for it,” Walsh posted. The revelation about Robinson’s relationship has come after a torrent of evidence suggesting that the suspect is on the political Left, and he allegedly targeted the conservative Kirk over politics. GOP Governor Spencer Cox of Utah said on Saturday that the suspect was “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology.” The bullet casings in the suspected assassin’s weapon had anti-fascist slogans and phrases written on them, such as “Hey Fascist! Catch!” Another included the lyrics from a famous Italian anti-fascist song called “Bella Ciao.” Family members told authorities that Robinson, a 22-year-old from Utah, had gotten increasingly political in recent years. The suspect disliked Kirk in particular; at a recent dinner, he spoke of how much he disliked and disagreed with Kirk while mentioning that the conservative planned to visit Utah soon for an event at Utah Valley University. Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated at the Utah Valley event. On Friday, Cox said that the assassin’s bullet that killed Kirk was also an attack on the fundamental values of the United States.  “This is certainly about the tragic death, assassination, political assassination, of Charlie Kirk,” said Cox. “But it is also much bigger than an attack on an individual. It is an attack on all of us. 
It is an attack on the American experiment. It is an attack on our ideals. This cuts to the very foundation of who we are, of who we have been, and who we could be in better times.”

Among the notable things about the book was its portrait of Dallas. In spite of the by-then well known fact that assassin Lee Harvey Oswald was a serious Communist sympathizer, an activist for “Fair Play for Cuba” among other things, the book painted a portrait of Dallas as having an alleged political atmosphere of far-right extremism and hatred that had resulted in Democrat JFK’s assassination. Scan the coverage of The New York Times or The Washington Post or left-wing TV networks and there is zero - say again zero - coverage of the not-so hidden threats coming from various quarters of the American Left. Instead there is coverage like this from Newsweek:  Charlie Kirk's Assassination Mocked By Liberals Citing Gun Views While they didn't reference guns another X user got 13.3 million views on the platform by posting an eight second compilation of a woman repeatedly hitting a button, with the caption 'me liking every tweet making fun of charlie kirk.' However other commentators condemned these reactions, British broadcaster Piers Morgan on X commenting: 'Seeing so many clips/posts of supposedly 'kind tolerant' liberals gleefully celebrating Charlie Kirk's murder. They're so utterly disgusting.' Over at Newsmax there was a clip of various anonymous leftists expressing their glee over the killing.   But a massive liberal media investigation of the hatred from the American Left that clearly bubbles and percolates just underneath the surface of American politics?  Not to be seen.
