Good Samaritans reportedly beat up an illegal alien from Ecuador when they caught him this week after he allegedly raped a young girl in a park. New York City police arrested 25-year-old illegal immigrant Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi after residents held him down until law enforcement arrived. The Good Samaritans beat Inga-Landi so badly that he hid under a car on the street to protect himself, according to video of the incident. CBS News reported that he got beaten up so severely that the police had to take him to the hospital before they could take him to jail. Inga-Landi allegedly ambushed two 13-year-olds, a boy and a girl, walking in a remote part of Kissena Park on Thursday afternoon. Armed with a “large machete-style knife,” the man allegedly forced the pair of teens off the path and tied their wrists together with shoe laces. They ran to the school and alerted the staff, who called emergency services. Queens resident Jeffrey Flores is being hailed as a hero after he helped catch the suspect, beat him up, and held him down until law enforcement arrived. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) grilled Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun about his multi-million dollar salary at the embattled aerospace company on Tuesday. “What is it that you get paid currently?” Hawley asked Calhoun during a hearing of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations — which has been looking into Boeing whistleblower complaints. “Senator, that’s well disclosed in our proxy documents in each of the years that I’ve been employed,” Calhoun said. This doesn’t sound like a lot of transparency to me,” Hawley said. As Boeing has been inundated with controversies, including a door plug incident and plane crashes, Hawley also pressed Calhoun on safety and quality control. The senator accused Calhoun of trying to “squeeze” profit out of the company while “cutting corners” and endangering lives. “Senator, I don’t recognize any of the Boeing you described,” Calhoun insisted. Hawley asked Calhoun why he has not resigned, to which the executive declared he is “sticking this through” and is “proud” of Boeing’s work — including its safety record. “Wow. There’s some news for you,” Hawley quipped. “I think the American public, when they fear to get on their airplanes, they understand your safety record,” he added. “And frankly, sir, I think it’s a travesty that you’re still in your job,” Hawley said. Also during the hearing, Calhoun made headlines for apologizing to plane crash victims and conceding a “far from perfect” culture at Boeing.

Endorsed by former President Donald Trump, Cao won with 67% of the vote and will take on Sen. Tim Kaine, the two-term Democratic incumbent, in November. “My message to Tim Kaine is: don’t go away mad, just go away. Thirty years getting rich on our dime is more than enough,” Cao told The Daily Signal. “We need fighters to solve our problems, not politicians.” Cao’s campaign raised more than $2 million, double the amount of any of the other four Republican Senate candidates. He is the vice president at CACI International Inc., a national security tech firm. The border crisis is a top priority for Cao, who promises to “build the wall” to stop the “invasion” of illegal immigrants at the southern border if elected. “We will finish President Trump’s indicatives, and policies, of remain in Mexico and the completion of the border wall system,” the Cao campaign told The Daily Signal. “As Senator, Hung Cao will codify a secure border program into law.” Cao resides in Purcellville, Virginia, a small town in Loudoun County about 50 miles from Washington, D.C. Before running for Senate, Kaine served as Virginia’s governor and previously, as lieutenant governor. In 2016, he was Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton’s vice presidential running mate. Cao defeated Jonathan Walker Emord, Eddie Garcia, Scott Parkinson, and Chuck Smith to win the GOP’s Senate nod. Emord served as vice president of the libertarian Cato Institute and as staff attorney at the Federal Communications Commission. He is the founder of Emord & Associates, a Clifton, Virginia-based law firm, and the author of five books. Emord slammed Kaine as a “dead weight,” an empty suit who “just follows the party plan.” He noted that Kaine freely called himself “boring.”  Garcia served as an Army officer from 1999 to 2017. He has subsequently worked as a communications officer at U.S. Central Command and as an Army congressional liaison to the U.S. House of Representatives. Garcia currently works in finance and owns MIL VETS, a networking app for veterans. Smith spent two decades as a U.S. Navy legal officer before he opened his own law office in Virginia Beach. Parkinson previously worked for three U.S. senators and served as Ron DeSantis’ chief of staff during the Florida governor’s time in the House of Representatives. He is a vice president of the Club for Growth, a conservative economic policy nonprofit. Parkinson boasted the endorsements of Sens. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama and Mike Lee of Utah, and Reps. Jim Banks of Indiana, Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Eli Crane of Arizona, Byron Donalds and Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, August Pfluger of Texas, and Scott Perry of Pennsylvania.  Virginia hasn’t elected a Republican to the Senate since 2002. Rumble’s CEO just resurfaced a video showing a former Google executive describing how her employer manipulated search engine results. Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski posted video on X (formerly Twitter) of former Google Vice President of Search Products Marissa Mayer chuckling and explaining to Google recruits how the company’s own products are prioritized on the tech giant’s search engine results. This confirms Google’s deliberate manipulation of search results that multiple MRC Free Speech America studies have also found. Pavlovski vowed in his post, “This will be exhibit 1 in our self-preferencing antitrust lawsuit against Google.” The clip of the former VP featured Hayer laughing merrily as she responded to a question about how searching stock quotes on Google used to show charts from Yahoo! first, but after the rise of Google Finance in 2006, the search results prioritized the Google product. Hayer said, “And I think the answer was, that, if my — I recall history correctly, we didn’t actually have Google Finance until about a year ago. So up until then we were actually ordering the links based on various published metrics, like Comscore and media metrics, so we had the five top finance sites in their order of popularity listed there.” That changed when Google had a product to promote. “So, when we rolled out Google Finance, we did put the Google link first,” Mayer said, pausing to giggle with glee. “So, it seems only fair, right, we do all the work for the search page, and all these other things, so we do put it first.” After this admission of search engine manipulation for Google’s own benefit, Mayer went on rambling with a vague admission of how Google made a policy of this programmed bias. “Um, but — and that’s actually been a policy then, because of Finance, we have implanted it in other places. So for Google Maps, again, it’s the first link, and so on and so forth, and then after that it’s ranked usually by popularity,” she declared. This newly surfaced video just provides yet another example of how Google can and does manipulate search results. MRC Free Speech America exposed Google’s search engine bias in undermining Republican senatorial candidates by burying their websites before the 2022 election. Ahead of the 2024 election, Google has also consistently suppressed campaign websites of Joe Biden’s presidential opponents in its search results, MRC researchers found.
