Man in underwear boards a moving tanker truck and proceeds to chug wine from the bottom

If this is what the new normal is going to be like, then we’d like whoever is in charge to please reconsider. “Carpe vinum” takes on a whole new meaning, thanks to a man called Gabriel Moreno who hitched a ride on a tanker truck filled with wine. You’d think a motorist hitching a ride... The post Man in underwear boards a moving tanker truck and proceeds to chug wine from the bottom appeared first on Shareably.

Little girl’s curiosity leads to her first taste of wasabi

One of the best video genres on the internet is kids trying different food for the first time. There is just something about watching kids find out they don’t like something cute and hilarious. One little girl is tricked by the bright green color and putty texture of wasabi. She is not alone! Many people,... Trump is Considering a Takeover of the District of Columbia Here’s Why That’s a Good Idea.

Trump is Considering a Takeover of the District of Columbia Here’s Why That’s a Good Idea.

The crime and dysfunction in Washington, D.C., is an embarrassment to the country. President Donald Trump rightly called out the problem at a press conference on Tuesday and offered a solution. “We have tremendous power at the White House to run places when we have to. We could run D.C. I mean, we’re … looking at D.C.,” Trump said. “Susie Wiles is working very closely with [Mayor Muriel Bowser].” BREAKING: Trump considers a Federal take over of governance of Washington DC: “We have tremendous power at The White House to run places when we have to. We could run DC. We're looking at DC … we would run it so good… we're thinking about doing it, to be honest with you” pic.twitter.com/LPxCPTurLp— ALX ?? (@alx) July 8, 2025 Wiles is the president’s chief of staff. What Trump said Tuesday is actually doubling down on comments he made earlier in the year. “I think that we should govern District of Columbia,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One in late February, according to Reuters. “We should run it strong, run it with law and order, make it absolutely flawlessly beautiful. And I think we should take over Washington, D.C.—Make it safe.” Trump’s talk of the federal government taking over Washington comes just more than a week after 21-year-old student Eric Tarpinian-Jachym was shot and killed at a Metro stop in Northwest Washington. Tarpinian-Jachym had been an intern of Rep. Ron Estes, R-Kan. “I will remember his kind heart and how he always greeted anyone who entered our office with a cheerful smile,” Estes said in a statement according to Fox News. “We are grateful to Eric for his service to Kansas’ 4th District and the country. Please join Susan and me in praying for his family and respecting their privacy during this heartbreaking time.” The killer is still on the loose. This is just the latest heartbreaking murder in the nation’s capital which has been beset by a surge in violent crime since the 2020 George Floyd riots. While the massive national spike in violent crime waned in many cities, including in the district, the problem remains. And Washington is now seeing another big spike in violent crime that started in late spring. In May, 20 people were killed in the city, including two young people who were working at the Israeli embassy. Targeted, ideological killings were added to the sickeningly mundane murders that take place on a regular basis. This reality is shameful. Trump is right to call out the unacceptable dysfunction of the federal district. Which is why his call to “take over” the district is serious. In fact, I’ve argued for years that not only is the District of Columbia statehood idea just a cynical ploy for Democrat votes, but it’s also the exact opposite of what should happen. There is a very good case that Congress should end home rule for Washington and reclaim its authority to govern the city that was forfeited—some say unconstitutionally—in 1973. D.C. is an embarrassment: homeless encampments; stalled infrastructure projects; corrupt and incompetent officials; and skyrocketing crime. It’s time to end the leftist fiction that D.C. should be the 51st state.End home rule. Bring law & order back to our nation’s capital. https://t.co/CJtgrbbtda— Theo Wold (@RealTheoWold) July 9, 2025 Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, proposed what he called the “Bowser Act” to do just that. As President Trump seems to be contemplating, it’s time to repeal “DC Home Rule,” and have DC’s laws made by Congress—consistent with Article I, Section 8, Clause 17 of the ConstitutionI have a bill, the BOWSER Act, that would do precisely thatMake DC Safe Again! https://t.co/XAIdcoULSE— Mike Lee (@BasedMikeLee) July 8, 2025 There is a strong reason to do this beyond just the fact that the city is beset by crime. The framers of the Constitution created the federal district to protect the people’s representatives. “The indispensable necessity of complete authority at the seat of Government carries its own evidence with it,” James Madison wrote in Federalist 43. “Without it, not only the public authority might be insulted and its proceedings be interrupted, with impunity but a dependence of the members of the general Government, on the State comprehending the seat of the Government for protection in the exercise of their duty, might bring on the national councils an imputation of awe or influence.” We’ve seen in recent years not just countless ordinary citizens being assaulted or killed in the nation’s capital, but even members of Congress. This has gone on for too long. Even if you don’t live in Washington and find it to be a toxic swamp filled with grotesque swamp creatures, there’s still a reason to see the federal city improved. It’s where some of our country’s finest monuments and museums are located. It’s an important place to learn about American history. To leave it in a state of disrepair is an insult to the American people. And while the basic competency of Congress may leave a lot to be desired, it’s hard to imagine that they couldn’t find a better way of running a city than the current city leadership. Perhaps by threatening to end home rule, Trump hopes to goad the district government into acting. Clearly, pressure works. Trump and congressional Republicans got the city to remove a giant painting of the words “Black Lives Matter” from a street a block away from the White House. But more needs to be done. And if it isn’t, I hope Congress takes the city back and makes it functional again. Trump Slaps Brazil With Tariffs Over Social Media Censorship

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, subscribe to Reclaim The Net. US President Donald Trump has launched a fierce rebuke of Brazil’s moves to silence American-run social media platforms, particularly Rumble and X. In his letter dated July 9, 2025, addressed to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Trump ties new US trade measures directly to Brazilian censorship. He calls attention to “SECRET and UNLAWFUL Censorship Orders to U.S. Social Media platforms,” pointing out that Brazil’s Supreme Court has been “threatening them with Millions of Dollars in Fines and Eviction from the Brazilian Social Media market.” Trump warns that these actions are “due in part to Brazil’s insidious attacks on Free Elections, and the fundamental Free Speech Rights of Americans,” and states: “starting on August 1, 2025, we will charge Brazil a Tariff of 50% on any and all Brazilian products sent into the United States, separate from all Sectoral Tariffs.” He also adds that “Goods transshipped to evade this 50% Tariff will be subject to that higher Tariff.” Brazil’s crackdown has targeted Rumble after it refused to comply with orders to block the account of Allan dos Santos, a Brazilian streamer living in the United States. On February 21, 2025, Justice Alexandre de Moraes ordered Rumble’s suspension for non‑compliance, saying it failed “to comply with court orders.” Earlier, from August to October 2024, Moraes had similarly ordered a nationwide block on X. The court directed ISPs to suspend access and imposed fines after the platform refused to designate a legal representative and remove certain accounts. Elon Musk responded: “Free speech is the bedrock of democracy and an unelected pseudo‑judge in Brazil is destroying it for political purposes.” By linking censorship actions, particularly those targeting Rumble and X, to US trade policy, Trump’s letter asserts that Brazil’s judiciary has moved into the arena of foreign policy and economic consequences. The tariffs, he makes clear, are meant, at least in part, as a response to Brazil’s suppression of American free speech. Trump’s decision to impose tariffs on Brazil for censoring American platforms may also serve as a clear signal to the European Union, which is advancing similar regulatory efforts under the guise of “disinformation” and “online safety.” With the EU’s Digital Services Act and proposed “hate speech” legislation expanding government authority over content moderation, American companies face mounting pressure to comply with vague and sweeping takedown demands. By framing censorship as a violation of US free speech rights and linking it to trade consequences, Trump is effectively warning that any foreign attempt to suppress American voices or platforms could trigger similar economic retaliation. Bill Nye Pops Up on CNN to Tie TX Flooding to U.S. Not Ditching Fossil Fuels

Far-left cosplaying scientist Bill Nye popped up Wednesday afternoon on CNN’s Inside Politics to tie the apocalyptic and deadly Texas Hill Country floods to not only climate change, but America having yet to go the way of the left’s dreams and ditch fossil fuels. Weekday host Dana Bash set the table by invoking floods in Texas as well as others in Chicago, North Carolina, and New Mexico and that Nye was there “to try to make sense of this.” She argued the adage of once-in-a-lifetime to describe extreme weather shouldn’t be the case because “it’s just where we are with the climate and the environment.”     Nye obviously agreed and said these disasters are “exactly what was predicted” and contradicted himself by arguing that, while it is “very difficult to tie any one weather event to climate change…warm weather events are actually easier to tie to climate change.” He also threw in with those demanding a siren system akin to parts of the world susceptible to tsunamis as water’s weight and ferocity make large volumes difficult for anyone to withstand: [E]verybody has talked about this for years, and there are the technologies for warning systems exist. Where people have tidal or tsunami events, these sort of warning systems can be put up, but you got to get to higher ground very quickly. And the thing, the point that I believe was being made in the moment — in the video a moment ago was the mass of the water, a 20-foot high mass of water in a half hour is — you can’t — you can’t just float your way out of it. It knocks everything over. Everybody knows — you pick up a bucket of water, you know how heavy it is and you get a lot of water going that fast. Then came the “fossil fuels” nonsense: “So, what are we going to do about it is the ancient question, and it would be to stop burning fossil fuels. When you’re in a hole, stop digging, and so on. But the fossil fuel industry has been very successful in getting organizations — like the U.S. Congress — to think that it’s really not happening.” Bash took this deranged talk hook, line, and sinker: “Well. And the first six months of the Trump administration, we’ve seen an end to some of the federal efforts on not just fossil fuel, but other efforts that had been in place government-wide to promote alternative energy.” Nye continued to lament: Yes. To be the world leader, to be — to have the U.S. lead the world in renewable energy sources, so that we would be able to export our technologies, that people would want to come to the U.S. to learn how to do this up and so on. So, the opportunities still exists, but we do need to turn things around and this is, of course, you are getting my side of the story. “How do you feel about that? Well, I mean, it’s the science side,” Bash replied, to this Nye invoked Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution by arguing Congress should embrace the “science.” After a back-and-forth about his Hill advocacy against NASA cuts and a closing about Nye’s interactions over texts with HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (which allegedly ended with Nye blocking Kennedy), Nye told her to “keep up the good work” in the name of the “First Amendment.” To see the relevant CNN transcript from July 9, click here.

Florida Republican mocks Dem leaders demanding apology over 'unhinged, racist' insult against Ilhan Omar

A Republican Florida lawmaker referred to Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota as a terrorist in a missive on social media, and he's definitely not backing down to criticism.Republican U.S. Rep. Randy Fine of Florida made the comments after Omar referred to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a war criminal and said it was shameful for Congress to invite him to speak. 'The Hamas Caucus is upset. Boo hoo.'"I'm sure it is difficult to see us welcome the killer of so many of your fellow Muslim terrorists," Fine responded on social media. "The only shame is that you serve in Congress."In response, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York posted a statement demanding an apology from Fine."The unhinged, racist and Islamophobic comments made by Randy Fine about Rep. Ilhan Omar are bigoted and disgusting. We are just weeks removed from heinous acts of political violence targeting elected officials in Minnesota for assassination," the statement reads."This is an incredibly difficult time for our nation and Members of Congress should be solving problems for the American people, not inciting violence," the statement continues. "Randy Fine must apologize immediately."The criticism was also signed by Democratic House Minority Whip Katherine Clark of Massachusetts and Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar of California.Fine responded by ridiculing the Democrats."The Hamas Caucus is upset. Boo hoo. I guess they weren't listening when I said the Hebrew Hammer was coming," the congressman responded on social media.RELATED: The US is now 'one of the worst countries' because of Trump's actions, says Ilhan Omar In a statement to Politico, a spokesperson for Omar described Fine as a "dangerous hateful man, whose only purpose in Congress thus far has been advocating for nuking Gaza, celebrating the death of children, and calling anyone who disagrees with his genocidal mindset a terrorist."Fine had been criticized as a "squish" by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, for underperforming in the district he won to gain a seat in the U.S. Congress.Like Blaze News? Superman's message to MAGA: ‘You’re not American’ if you don’t love immigrants

After being fired by Disney in 2018 for pedophilia and rape comments spotlighted on social media, “Superman” director James Gunn is no stranger to cancel culture. However, this time, he’s facing backlash from conservatives after calling Superman “an immigrant that came from other places” in a new interview.“I’m not here to judge people,” he told Variety magazine at the "Superman" premiere at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre. “I think this is a movie about kindness, and I think that’s something everyone can relate to.”Gunn’s brother, Sean Gunn, who plays Maxwell Lord in the film, also took issue with the backlash.“We support our people, you know? We love our immigrants. Yes, Superman is an immigrant, and yes, the people that we support in this country are immigrants, and if you don’t like that, you’re not American. People who say no to immigrants are against the American way,” his brother said.BlazeTV host Stu Burguiere is disappointed that yet another Hollywood film is going the woke route.“Did you follow what happened with 'Snow White'? Did you see that whole situation? Did you not notice that people don’t want this type of messaging inside their movies? And if you’re going to do it, just shut up about it. Let people, you know, lead the horse to water, if you will. You don’t need to take the horse’s head and jam it under the liquid,” Burguiere says on “Stu Does America.”According to Sean Davis, CEO and co-founder of the Federalist, the outlook for the film isn’t bright anyway — and he has an interesting theory as to why they’re already jamming the immigration story down America’s throats.“The movie is terrible, test audiences hated it, and they’re now running the Lady Ghostbusters marketing op so they can blame bigotry for their movie tanking instead of taking responsibility for making a garbage movie,” Davis said in a post on X.“I kind of like that idea,” Burguiere comments, adding, “It’s certainly possible.”Want more from Stu?To enjoy more of Stu's lethal wit, wisdom, and mockery, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.
