Netanyahu Visits IDF Inside Gaza‚ Vows New ‘Intensifying’ Phase Of War

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) inside Gaza on Christmas as they continue to battle the Hamas terrorists responsible for the October 7 massacre. Netanyahu visited the northern Gaza Strip with IDF Deputy Chief-of-Staff Maj.-Gen. Amir Baram and was briefed by the Commander of the 261st Brigade‚ Col. Yehuda Wach‚ the Deputy Commander of the 162nd Division and the Deputy Commander of the 261st Brigade. “I am here with you in the northern Gaza Strip and I am extraordinarily impressed. Previously‚ I told your commanders‚ and you‚ as reservists‚ as soldiers – we are proud of you and rely on you. We see the determination and the desire to continue on until the end‚” he said. “Then I have two things to tell you: First‚ we will do everything to maintain your safety and your lives. While we want to pursue the mission‚ we want to safeguard you even more. That is the first – and most important – thing.” “Second‚ we are not stopping. Whoever talks about stopping – there is no such thing. We are not stopping. The war will continue until the end‚ until we finish it‚ no less‚” he continued. “I know that you left your families and that your families support you. That is amazing. That is the power – the key to victory.” The Prime Minister spoke with the soldiers and heard from them about their insistence and determination regarding the mission – to fight until the end‚ until victory. pic.twitter.com/IEU8CgPl3W — Prime Minister of Israel (@IsraeliPM) December 25‚ 2023 PM Netanyahu: "I know that you left your families and that your families support you. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP “Citizens of Israel‚ we are intensifying the war in the Gaza Strip. We will continue to fight until absolute victory over Hamas‚” Netanyahu said in a statement. “This will take time‚ but we are united – the soldiers‚ the people and the Government. We are united and determined to fight until the end.” He also said that Israel’s decision on how to use its forces belonged to the IDF and the IDF alone — not outside influences.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said on Monday that she was swatted at her home on Christmas‚ which she estimated was approximately the eighth time that it has happened to her. The New York Post reported that the incident happened when someone called a suicide hotline and claimed that he shot his girlfriend and said he was threatening to commit suicide. “I was just swatted‚” Greene wrote on X. “This is like the 8th time. On Christmas with my family here.” “My local police are the GREATEST and shouldn’t have to deal with this‚” she added. “I appreciate them so much and my family and I are in joyous spirits celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ!” I was just swatted. Israel Kills Top Iranian General In Syria: Report

Israel killed a top commander in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Monday in airstrikes carried out in the Syrian capital of Damascus. Iranian-state media said that Reza Mousawi‚ a high-ranking Iranian general‚ was killed in a strike on the Sayida Zeinab neighborhood. Israeli airstrikes in Syria earlier this month killed two other Iranian generals. Reuters reported that Mousawi was responsible for coordinating Iran’s military alliance between Syria and Iran. Israel did not comment on the strike‚ which is customary for their military. “I won’t comment on foreign reports‚ these or others in the Middle East‚” said IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari. “The Israeli military obviously has a job to protect the security interests of Israel.” Secondaries can be heard in the area reportedly struck in an airstrike earlier in Aqraba region‚ Damascus‚ Syria. pic.twitter.com/4ut6J1h5Dj — Aurora Intel (@AuroraIntel) December 25‚ 2023 Various Iranian officials and entities vowed to retaliate against Israel for the killing of Mousavi. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi responded to the strike by saying‚ “This act is a sign of the Zionist regime’s frustration and weakness in the region for which it will certainly pay the price.” The IRGC said‚ “The usurper and savage Zionist regime will pay for this crime.” “Iran reserves the right to take necessary measures to respond to this action at the appropriate time and place‚” said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani. Report: Obama Privately Came Out For Gay At Harvard Amid Anti-Semitism Scandal

Former President Barack Obama lobbied Harvard leadership and elites to keep university president Claudine Gay in her role despite her disastrous testimony to Congress. Gay testified in front of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce on December 5 alongside the president of MIT‚ Sally Kornbluth‚ and then-president of the University of Pennsylvania‚ Liz Magill. Magill has since announced her resignation as Penn president over her House Testimony. During the hearing‚ all three presidents refused to say that calls for Jewish genocide violate their universities’ policies against hate speech. Each president maintained that such calls depend upon the “context” in which they are made. The hearing sparked a revolt among Harvard’s wealthiest supporters‚ such as billionaire Len Blavatnik‚ whose family foundation has given at least $270 million to the university. Blavatnik froze his financial support to Harvard over concerns of anti-Semitism on the elite school’s campus‚ according to Bloomberg. Despite the backlash‚ Gay has remained at her post. In addition to the scandal created over her December 5 testimony‚ Gay has also been embroiled in a plagiarism scandal after numerous examples of what other academics say are clear examples of plagiarism were unearthed in Gay’s past work. Harvard has continued to stand by Gay‚ and that may be partly due to the private lobbying of Obama‚ who reportedly came out in support of Gay to Harvard leadership to keep her in her post‚ according to Jewish Insider. “It sounded like people were being asked to close ranks to keep the broader administration stable — including its composition‚” a source familiar with Obama’s work behind the scenes told Jewish Insider. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP The day after her testimony before the House‚ Gay attempted to clarify her comments in a statement. “There are some who have confused a right to free expression with the idea that Harvard will condone calls for violence against Jewish students‚” Gay said. “Let me be clear: Calls for violence or genocide against the Jewish community‚ or any religious or ethnic group are vile‚ they have no place at Harvard‚ and those who threaten our Jewish students will be held to account.” Another day later‚ Gay apologized for her testimony in an interview with The Harvard Crimson. “I am sorry‚” Gay said. “Words matter.” She said that she “substantively … failed to convey what is my truth.”

Michael Bublé On Son’s Cancer Diagnosis: ‘Rocked My World’ And Changed ‘Priorities’

Singer Michael Bublé recently discussed how his son’s cancer diagnosis changed his life and priorities. The 48-year-old Canadian crooner made the remarks during an appearance on the “Diary of a CEO” podcast. When host Steven Bartlett asked about a time when his priorities in life changed‚ Bublé recalled finding out his son‚ then three‚ had liver cancer. “My son’s cancer diagnosis rocked my world‚” Bublé said. “It pulled the curtain from over my eyes.” “And that was a sledgehammer to my reality‚” he continued. “And I will never be carefree and that’s okay. It is a privilege for me to exist and that pain‚ the fear‚ the suffering that comes with those sort of things is I guess it’s part of that beautiful‚ this life.” The “Feeling Good” singer also talked about how he was going through tough times before his son’s diagnosis‚ but that moment helped put everything in perspective. “I don’t think I had my priorities straight. I mean‚ my family was always my love‚ but I don’t think I was a terrible guy‚ but dude‚ it was blinders. Career. Ambition. How do I become the baddest‚ biggest‚ best. You know‚ more ego‚ more power‚ more money‚” Bublé revealed. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP He went on‚ “And on Halloween‚ however many years ago that was‚ dude it’s like life was lived with a curtain in front of me. Like a filter. And the moment that they said this is what’s happening‚ that reality hit me. Filter gone. And I mean‚ in a moment. In one moment. Gone. And I went‚ ‘Ok. This is it. This is life. This is it‚ this is what’s important.'” The singer has four kids with wife Luisana Lopilato: Noah‚ 10‚ Elias‚ 7‚ Vida‚ 5‚ and Cielo‚ 15 months. Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016 and has been in remission since 2017. Bublé spoke previously about how the diagnosis changed him. “Listen‚ I am different‚” he told People in 2018. “You don’t go through big things in your life‚ dramatic things like I’ve gone through or my wife has gone through without it having an effect on you.”
