2024 has been quite a year for releases from some of our favorite artists across genres. And well, King George is still very much part of the hit making conversation. On September 6, 2024, he will grace us with 13 new classics with the release of his 31rst MCA album Cowboys & Dreamers. Our ears have already been blessed with four released singles from the much anticipated offering. And of course, King George has ushered in this new audio delicacy in style. He's teamed up with Codigo 1530 to make the event extra special for his fans with a limited edition tequilla that will be released on September 6th along side the album. King George has been busy breaking records and selling out shows across America despite limited radio airplay. Just recently, he broke the record for the largest crowd at a ticketed event. George has also been quite busy these past couple of years sharing his talent for worthy causes and tributes. One such tribute is happening on Wednesday, October 9 at the Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama. The iconic Tennessee Whiskey songwriter Dean Dillion will be honored for his incredible trajectory and footprint in country music. The Country Music Hall of Famer is King George's longtime friend and go-to songwriter. Last week, George Strait released, yet another banger from his upcoming album. George Strait's new single Three Drinks Behind is just what we need right now as we wind down summer and head towards voting in a new U.S. president. There will be those that get hooked on the drinking in a bar with friends and new chums part, but there is so much more to this song.. The tune is about getting past differences by aligning with what we can agree on which is a lesson we can all learn and embrace.. In the song, what we can all agree on is having a good time, and not letting things get in the way of our peace of mind and happiness.. George also has some very definite ideas on how this can be accomplished when you read the following line: This is absolutely the sentiment we need and hearing it from The King drives the point home. George very clearly states that we have the power to look at things from different perspectives including a more positive one. The song also tips its hat to Vern Gosdin with the line Set'em Up Joe who I truly hope will be inducted into the Country Music Hallof Fame one day.. A side note because I'm a music history buff. Do you know who "Joe" is? The Texas Troubadour Ernest Tubb owned a Texas honky tonk, and one of his bartenders was named Joe. He even wrote a song mentioning him included below. Vern Gosdin's song "Set'em Up Joe" pays tribute to Ernest Tubb.. Cowboys & Dreamers will probably debut high on the Billboard Hot 200 chart as it is The King's first album in five years. I am a Jew, not a Christian. Yet I found loathsome the mockery of the Last Supper—one of the holiest scenes in the New Testament—during the opening of the 2024 Olympics in Paris. In fact, it is actually troubling to constantly read the words, “Many Christians are offended”—as if only Christians are offended by France’s and the International Olympic Committee’s mockery of Jesus’ Last Supper scene. Indeed, if only Christians were offended, there is little hope for civilization. But we live in the age of groupthink, in which only members of targeted groups are expected to be offended. To write that Christians were offended by what just transpired in Paris would be as if one were to write, “blacks were offended” by slavery, or “Jews are offended” by Islamic attempts to eradicate Israel, or “women are offended” by the rape of women. One assumes that moral individuals of every group would find men in drag, transwomen, and a naked man enacting Leonardo da Vinci’s painting of the Last Supper—on the world’s largest stage—offensive. In fact, “offensive” doesn’t do justice to how we all should view what the French and the Olympics did. What was done in the opening to the 2024 Paris Olympics was far more serious than “offensive.” It actually represented the greatest threat to Western civilization in the Western world’s history: the Left. You don’t have to be a Christian to understand that Christianity—more specifically, Judeo-Christian values and the Bible—made Western civilization. Without Christianity and the Bible, there would be no West. That is why contempt for Christianity and the Bible is synonymous with mockery for the West. The current civil war within Western civilization is a war between the Left and the Bible. It is also the reason the Los Angeles Dodgers not only allowed a group called Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence—a self-described “order of queer and trans nuns” that mimics and mocks Catholic nuns—to perform prior to a Dodgers game. The Dodgers actually honored them. It is the reason an “artwork” titled “Piss Christ”—a crucifix submerged in a jar of urine—toured museums throughout America. It is why the European Union Charter does not once mention Christianity. It’s why every left-wing group in America is apoplectic over Louisiana’s recent decision to require that the Ten Commandments be posted in Louisiana classrooms; and Oklahoma’s decision to make teaching of the Bible mandatory in public schools. And why the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, praised his country’s opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, posting on X: Thanks to Thomas Jolly (the artistic director) and his creative genius for this grandiose ceremony. Thank you to the artists for this unique and magical moment. … Thank you to everyone who believed in it. We’ll talk about it again in 100 years! WE DID IT! And there’s more bad news: As of this writing, the head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, has said nothing about the Olympics’ degradation of the Last Supper. Perhaps he was too busy preparing another encyclical about climate change. It is crucial to note that the Left, whether in America or Europe, never mocks Islam. One would think that with virtually all religious violence in the world emanating from that religion, the Left would concentrate its antireligious fire against Islam, or at least fundamentalist Islam. Why doesn’t it? One reason is that leftists fear Muslims. If you mock Islam, you will have to spend your life in hiding or risk being beheaded. On the other hand, the Left has no fear of Christians. No matter how much the Left mocks and undermines Christianity, the Left assumes that not one of the world’s 2.5 billion Christians will hurt them. And the Catholic pope will not only not issue a fatwa against you, he won’t even speak out against you. Because he, too, is a man of the Left. The second reason is that fundamentalist Islam is the Left’s ally in attempting to destroy the West. That’s why the Left is allied with Islamic fundamentalists who seek to eradicate Israel and all its Jews. Israel is seen (correctly) as an outpost of Western civilization in the midst of the Muslim world. The Left does not hate religion. It hates Christianity, Judeo-Christian values, and the Bible. The Vermont Supreme Court ruled a family cannot sue their child’s school district after the child was given the experimental COVID-19 shot against their wishes. The child, labeled L.P. in the original complaint, was six years old when they received the shot. According to KMPH, the child was “vaccinated at a November 2021 clinic hosted by the Windham Southeast School District and the Vermont Department of Health.” “L.P. was a student at the district’s Academy School at the time,” the outlet added. Court documents say L.P.’s father told a school official before the clinic the child was not to be vaccinated. “The school official acknowledged the father’s directive, according to Friday’s ruling,” KMPH noted. The second student had allegedly already received a vaccination earlier that day. L.P. ‘verbally protested,’ saying, ‘Dad said no,'” the ruling reads. Academy School officials eventually realized the error and called L.P.’s parents to apologize, who later removed their child from the school, according to the ruling. The Vermont Supreme Court ruled Friday state and school officials involved in the matter are protected under the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act, which provides liability immunity. In the event of a public health emergency, the PREP Act ensures certain “covered persons” are immune from claims causally related to the use of a “covered countermeasure.” A vaccine is considered a covered countermeasure. “To avoid dismissal on immunity grounds, plaintiffs would have had to present wellpleaded allegations showing that (1) at least one defendant was not a covered person, (2) some conduct by a defendant was not causally related to administering a covered countermeasure, (3) the substance injected into L.P. was not a covered countermeasure, or (4) there was no PREP Act declaration in effect at the time L.P. was injected,” the ruling reads. Windham Southeast Superintendent Mark Speno apologized for the incident in a November 2021 letter to families, according to the Bennington Banner. “Thankfully, we are not aware of any harm to the student because of this mistake,” the letter reportedly read. “We take our responsibilities to students and families very seriously, and we respect parents’ rights to make health care decisions for their children.” Read the full ruling HERE.
