However, as one clip on social media beautifully demonstrates, helping someone in need can have massive, unforeseen personal positive consequences. The short, minute-and-a-half clip begins with one man approaching a student sitting at a table studying. The man approached the student and asked him if he had any food. He was looking for something to eat because he was starving. He looks through his backpack, but when he comes up empty, he offers to take him to a nearby Tim Horton's and "buy whatever you want." The student informs the hungry man that his parents taught him to "not keep anyone hungry." He is bound and determined to buy this man food, so they go to the coffee shop. It's also revealed that this student has been away from his family for eight months and has been unable to see them during that time because of travel expenses. However, her mother, who she called and left a message for, had passed away. Paighton Noel's phone call follows a similar call she made to her mother in 2020. At that time, Paighton phoned her mother to let her know she had been accepted to the University of Utah's medical school. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg — who is backed by Democrat megadonor George Soros — gushed over the jury that returned a guilty verdict against former President Donald Trump on Thursday. Bragg said that the jury, which was selected from an area that voted overwhelmingly for Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020, was “literally the cornerstone of our judicial system” and that they should be thanked for their “service.” “We should all be thankful for the careful attention that this jury paid to the evidence and the law and their time and commitment over these past several weeks,” he claimed. “Twelve everyday New Yorkers, and of course, our alternates, heard testimony from 22 witnesses, including former and current employees of the defendant, media executives, book publishers, custodians of records, and others.
