Paul Anka and Annette Funicello shared a close and meaningful relationship that began in the late 1950s. The lovers were prominent figures in the entertainment industry during this era, with Anka rising to fame as a teen idol and pop singer and Funicello becoming a beloved star through her work as a Mouseketeer on Disney’s The Mickey Mouse Club.
