Ozzy Osbourne Hopes To Perform With Black Sabbath Again… On One Condition

Black Sabbath was a legendary rock-heavy metal band of the seventies that lasted through several hiatuses until their final split in 2017; however, bandmate Ozzy Osbourne said they had unfinished business. The Prince of Darkness admitted to wanting one more performance with drummer Bill Ward, who left Black Sabbath in 1980 due to alcoholism. Bill did not get to join in on their final concert and last 13 albums together in 2013 due to contract disputes, leading to his replacement with one of Ozzy’s solo instrumentalists, Tommy Clufetos. Ozzy said he was “sad” at Bill’s absence, and although Tommy did good, “he ain’t Bill Ward.” Ozzy Osbourne would perform with Black Sabbath again    View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Ozzy Osbourne (@ozzyosbourne) Ozzy is still open to performing with the iconic group and “would jump at the chance” only if Bill would play. He added that they never really got closure and were not finished until he, Bill, Geezer Butler, and Tony Iommi shared a stage once again. Ozzy still has his heart out for a possible reunion but nothing elaborate. His wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne, previously mentioned that he might perform at Aston Villa’s Villa Park, Ozzy’s Birmingham hometown.  (l to r) Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, 1980s Ozzy has hardly been in optimal health in the last two decades, which also explains the unlikelihood of any more tours. According to Sharon, Ozzy will not get on the road again, but he is considering “two more shows to say goodbye as he feels like, ‘I have never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say goodbye.’” After a long history of drug use, alcohol addiction, and other vices, the iconic rocker came down with Parkinson’s, as revealed in 2020. Ozzy Osbourne, singing with Black Sabbath, at the Moscow Music Peace Festival, 1989. He has undergone multiple spine surgeries and claims to have some years left, which surprises him as many of his friends are dead. Ironically, the “Crazy Train” singer is not scared of death and prefers to opt for euthanasia rather than a “long, painful and miserable existence.” Although Ozzy hoped to keep performing amid his health troubles, he is instead seeking “ideas for where I will be able to perform without having to travel from city to city and country to country.” Click for next Article The post Ozzy Osbourne Hopes To Perform With Black Sabbath Again… On One Condition  appeared first on DoYouRemember? - The Home of Nostalgia.
