Yeah‚ this is one of those stories again. Cassidy Kraus married her husband Zachary Krauss back in July of 2023. Just a month later they got divorced after evidence of Mrs. Kraus sexual escapades with her 13-year-old students emerged. Now she's pled guilty and could face 33 years in prison. Kraus was a teacher at the IKM Manning School in Manning Iowa. On Monday she pled guilty to “one count of third-degree sexual abuse‚ two counts of lascivious acts with a child and three counts of dissemination and exhibition of obscene materials to minors‚” the court document indicated.  Between 2022 and 2023‚ Kraus “knowingly disseminat[ed] obscene material‚” likely nude images‚ to three different boys between the ages of 13 and 14 years old. To make matters worse‚ Kraus was accused of “fondling or touching” one of the boys back in May of 2022. She’s also in trouble for cthe “touching of the person’s genitals to any part of the body of the child‚” Law &; Crime reported. She also performed other “sexual acts” on one of the boys. As a teacher‚ Kraus had to be certified as a “mandated reporter of child abuse‚” yet she was the one conducting the abuse! When all this started to surface back in August‚ Kraus tenured her resignation‚ likely since she knew she’d be fired‚ and a few days later‚ the IKM-Manning School Board approved her resignation.  Kraus has a sentencing date set for March 11. She faces up to 10-years in prison each for the sexual abuse count and the two counts of lascivious acts. For the counts of dissemination and exhibition of obscene materials‚ Kraus fases up to one year in prison meaning that in total‚ she could face a maximum of 33 years in prison. These situations where teachers are having sexual relationships with their students has become way too popular these last couple of months and it’s probably because sex is so celebrated in schools and honestly everywhere. When we cultivate a culture that treats kids as pawns in a machine and dehumanizes them‚ we’re opening the door for predators like Kraus to act as she did.

ABC’s The View kicked off Black History Month by asserting‚ without evidence‚ that most Americans were racist. Co-host Sunny Hostin snapped at “conservative” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin after she rightfully said that the “vast majority” of Americans were not racist. Hostin also tried to shut down debate by asserting that no one was allowed to question her “lived experience” on the topic. But here at NewsBusters‚ we will absolutely question her because she has lied in the past about what she’s experienced. Farah Griffin’s supposedly controversial comments included her admitting that America indeed had “a history of racism” but “I don't think the American people are racist.” “And there are plenty of racist people in this country‚” co-host Joy Behar pushed back. “And there are absolutely racist people in this country. It is not the vast majority of people in this country‚” Farah Griffin responded. Stating that fact absolutely triggered Hostin. “Well‚ the FBI director said white supremacy is the biggest threat to our country today!” she snapped at Farah Griffin as if Director Wray was a trustworthy source. Last year‚ Wray told Congress that the FBI was not trying to spy on Catholic churches. But according to documents uncovered during a House Judicial Committee investigation‚ that was a lie.     Farah Griffin rightfully pointed out that Wray’s assessment “still doesn't mean that's the vast majority of people.” “I just don’t believe that‚ in my day-to-day life‚ that the people you're encountering harbor racist viewpoints‚” Farah Griffin reasonably argued. “If you looked like me you would believe differently‚” Hostin shot back‚ playing the race card. Hostin also claimed‚ without evidence‚ that she “just experienced” her son “being called the N-word several times” while walking on the beach “in Florida.” Whatever Hostin claimed was her “lived experience” could not be trusted. She has repeatedly claimed that Ohio Republican Congressman Jim Jordan had “terrorized” her during a congressional hearing. A NewsBusters investigation found her claim to be a lie. At no point during the hearing did Jordan ever address Hostin. If Hostin’s “lived experience” was that most Americans were racist‚ it’s likely because she’s staunchly racist and anti-Semitic herself and maintained that kind of social circle. CBS’s Stephen Colbert attacked “the big dumb idiots” down in Florida for wanting to ban the Pride flag in school classrooms on the Wednesday edition of The Late Show‚ but while attempting to mock the state‚ he ended up simply confusing anyone with any ability for critical thinking. Colbert reported that “In Florida‚ Republicans are advancing a bill that would ban Pride flags in classrooms because clearly‚ Florida has nothing to be proud of. The big dumb idiots-- the big dumb idiots in favor of this big dumb law argue that ‘Public classrooms should not be the place where our kids go to be radicalized into accepting these partisan ideologies.’”     If you are wondering what the problem is‚ according to Colbert‚ it is some sort of hypocrisy‚ “A Florida classroom is no place to learn partisan ideologies. It's a place to learn that Jesus lived with the dinosaurs but they were just roommates.” What is Colbert talking about? Obviously‚ Florida does not teach that Jesus lived with dinosaurs. If he’s trying to be clever and make some point about some religious conservatives and the age of the Earth‚ Florida doesn’t teach Young Earth creationism. Colbert was not done attacking Floridian strawmen‚ “The bill would bar the display of any flag that represents a “political viewpoint including but not limited to a politically partisan‚ racial‚ sexual orientation and gender‚ or political ideology viewpoint.”  Against two pictures of flags‚ one with a welcome sign and the other wishing people a Happy Thanksgiving‚ Colbert proceeded‚ “Doesn't every flag have a political viewpoint? This flag is clearly pro-bird‚ while the house across the street is staunchly anti-bird! This is how the Civil War started... is what they teach in Florida.” Since Colbert is more interested in the left-wing caricatures of Florida’s laws than the laws themselves‚ Colbert may be surprised to learn that Gov. Ron DeSantis is emphatic in his belief that slavery was the cause of the Civil War. The administration has refused to enforce immigration laws that have been in place for years‚ but now the president says he will selectively enforce a new law? Through the first 27 days in December‚ border authorities “encountered more than 225‚000 migrants along the US-Mexico border … marking the highest monthly total recorded since 2000‚ according to preliminary Homeland Security statistics‚” reports CNN. About 50‚000 more arrived at official border crossings. There have been more than 96‚000 "known gotaways" at the southern border since Oct. 1‚ according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Who knows how many have come into the country with Fentanyl? Perhaps the most ridiculous suggestion made during what some have rightfully called an “invasion” came from the governor of Boston‚ Maura Healey‚ who is asking people to open their homes and businesses to the migrants. This isn’t equivalent to the temporary housing offered to the 7‚000 passengers and crew from airplanes forced to land in Newfoundland following the 9/ 11 terrorist attack. Who in their right mind would take in unvetted migrants? According to the Center for Immigration Studies‚ there are 11.35 million people living in the U.S. who arrived without documentation. Democratic megadonor George Soros has made six- figure donations through his Democracy Pac II to a group called Texas Majority PAC‚ whose goal is to turn Texas into a Democrat-majority state. The group was formed by people associated with Beto O’Rourke‚ who failed in three attempts to seek various offices. In a statement‚ Texas Majority PAC spokeswoman Katherine Fischer said the Soros donations are intended to help the migrants register and turn out voters “on a scale never seen before.” She couldn’t be clearer as to the PAC’s intentions and presumably the goals of other enablers of those who broke our laws to get here. It appears Vice President Kamala Harris is in on this deal. She wants the migrants to have “a pathway to citizenship.” There is no mystery how she and other Democrats expect most of them to vote should they acquire citizenship. If some of them break more laws after becoming U.S. citizens‚ what then? Would they get pardoned by the current or a future Democratic president? As Ronald Reagan said: “A nation that cannot control its borders is not a nation.” Reagan signed a bipartisan‚ but flawed‚ immigration bill. This is different and if it continues‚ the United States of America will be “fundamentally transformed‚” which former President Barack Obama and current President Joe Biden have said is their goal. Uncontrolled immigration has reached the top of the list of voter concerns‚ ahead of the economy. Voters will decide in November what kind of America they want. Former Mississippi political candidate and naval officer Michael Cassidy is facing felony hate crime charges for decapitating a satanic statue in Iowa. The co-founder of the Satanic Temple that put the statue up claimed putting the statue in a public forum was an expression of religious freedom. Cassidy drove to Iowa to see it for himself and felt so strongly that it shouldn’t be there that he proceeded to destroy the statue. In the charges against Cassidy‚ prosecutors cited a violation of individual rights under Iowa’s hate crime statute. In addition‚ they say evidence suggests Cassidy destroyed the statue due to the victim’s religion. “I fail to see the victim here‚” Sara Gonzales says. “Is the victim the statue? The victim is the person who created this beautiful statue that nobody wanted?” The creators of the statue are claiming the cost to replace it is between $750 and $1‚500. “Our dark gods are cheap these days‚” Chad Prather jokes. Though he’s facing legal repercussions‚ Cassidy is now being hailed as a hero by many on the right — and the proof is in the GiveSendGo campaign that has raised over $105‚000 for his legal defense. While Gonzales is happy he’s being helped‚ she doesn’t find it comforting that Cassidy now has to take on the law. “It’s just depressing because it’s like‚ well‚ they finally stood up and did something and what are the thanks? That they get thrown into prison? California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) admitted on Wednesday that he once asked for a Target employee's manager because that employee blamed him for the shoplifting epidemic.Speaking on a Zoom meeting with California mayors‚ Newsom recounted what he called "my Target story." One time while in a Target checkout line‚ Newsom said he witnessed a man leave the store without paying for merchandise. When he confronted a Target employee about the incident‚ that employee blamed him."I said‚ 'Why didn't you stop him?' She goes‚ 'Oh‚ the governor.' Swear to God‚ true story‚ on my mom's grave. 'The governor lowered the threshold‚ there's no accountability‚'" Newsom recalled. "I said that's just not true. I said we have the tenth-toughest — $950 — the tenth-toughest in America‚" he continued. "She said‚ 'Well‚ we don't stop them because of the governor.'"The employee‚ Newsom explained‚ eventually realized she was speaking with the very person whom she had blamed. Newsom alleged the employee then asked him for a photograph‚ but he denied the request. He explained:I’m like‚ "No‚ I'm not taking a photo‚ we’re having a conversation. Where's your manager? And it was‚ you know‚ $380 later‚ and I was like‚ “Why am I spending $380 when everyone can walk the hell right out?" — (@) It's true that Newsom isn't directly to blame for California's epidemic of organized retail theft.But Newsom‚ as recently as December 2021‚ publicly defended Proposition 47‚ a law passed in 2014 that reduced some non-violent crimes from felonies to misdemeanors. For shoplifting specifically‚ stealing goods with a property value below $950 was recategorized as a misdemeanor. After Prop 47 passed‚ California experienced an increase in non-violent crimes like shoplifting and larceny. And when California cities began electing far-left prosecutors with aversions to prosecuting low-level offenders‚ shoplifting went relatively unchecked and allowed organized retail theft to flourish.To his credit‚ Newom is now trying to mitigate some of the problems Prop 47 has caused‚ but he has stopped short of asking voters to reconsider the law.Still‚ the irony is rich. California Democrats for years supported lowering the penalties for low-level crimes likes shoplifting.
