A new video is going viral online claiming to show the exact moment a Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. While there are not any Community Notes claiming the video to be fake, I have not seen it confirmed to be authentic. It appears to be security cam footage and I am a bit skeptical that someone with access to that footage would risk posting it online, so I post this with that caveat. We will update this story when we have more information. Authorities said they “do not believe” that 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar, the suspect in the New Orleans attack, acted alone. During the presser, Duncan confirmed that the FBI is still investigating the suspect, Shamsud Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old from Texas. “We are working to confirm how he came in possession of this vehicle,” Duncan said. “An ISIS flag was located on the trailer hitch of the vehicle, and the FBI is working to determine the subject’s potential associations and affiliation to the terrorist organization.” “Weapons and potential improvised explosive devices IED were located in the subject’s vehicle.” The special agent also noted that the FBI does not believe Din Jabbar was “solely responsible” for the act of terrorism. Fox reported that a source within the New Orleans Police Department said that the suspect was carrying a “a glock pistol and a .308 rifle that had been reportedly stole in New Jersey. The .308 rifle had been equipped with an optics indoor suppressor. “There are at least 4 or 5 other suspects involved,” reported Fox. The FBI later confirmed this. FBI Spokesperson Aletha Duncan spoke at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon during which she confirmed earlier reports that authorities do not believe that Shamsud-Din Jabbar worked alone in carrying out what is being investigated as a terrorist attack. “The FBI is the lead investigative agency and we’re investigating this as an attack of terrorism along with our partners,” Duncan said, before describing the incident.
