Trump Sues WSJ, Dow Jones, News Corp, Murdoch, Two WSJ Reporters

Trump sues Dow Jones, News Corp, Rupert Murdoch and two WSJ reporters over Wall Street Journal story about the Epstein birthday letter. He warned on Thursday the lawsuit was coming after the newspaper reported that Trump in 2003 sent Jeffrey Epstein a birthday greeting that included a sexually suggestive drawing. That was about three years […] The post Trump Sues WSJ, Dow Jones, News Corp, Murdoch, Two WSJ Reporters appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Colbert’s Leaving, But the Bad Guys Are Still Winning

It’s very nice that Stephen Colbert is going off the air, but when you add up the size of the audience the hate comedians draw, they are still winning. The worst part is they have more of the younger viewers than Greg Gutfeld, and more than double Greg Gutfeld overall. Additionally, Colbert isn’t leaving until […] The post Colbert’s Leaving, But the Bad Guys Are Still Winning appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

DOJ Requests Judge Unseal Grand Jury Testimony In Epstein, Maxwell Cases At Trump’s Behest

Attorney General Pam Bondi officially requested on Friday that a federal judge unseal grand jury testimony from the cases against child rapist Jeffrey Epstein and child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. The request, filed in Federal District Court in Manhattan, will place the decision to release any Epstein testimony in the hands of Judge Richard M. Berman, who was overseeing the case when Epstein was found dead in his jail cell in August 2019. “Since July 6, 2025, there has been extensive public interest in the basis for the Memorandum’s conclusions. While the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation continue to adhere to the conclusions reached in the Memorandum, transparency to the American public is of the utmost importance to this Administration,” Bondi, along with her deputy, Todd Blance, wrote in the court filing. “Given the public interest in the investigative work conducted by the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation into Epstein, the Department of Justice moves the Court to unseal the underlying grand jury transcripts … subject to appropriate redactions of victim-related and other personal identifying information,” the filing added. The DOJ added that it will “work with the United States Attorney’s Office for [the] Southern District of New York to make appropriate redactions of victim-related information and other personal identifying information prior to releasing the transcripts.” “Transparency in this process will not be at the expense of our obligation under the law to protect victims,” the filing stated. The move from the Trump administration comes amid weeks of controversy surrounding the administration’s handling of the Epstein case and after President Donald Trump directed Bondi to “produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to Court approval.” The DOJ concluded earlier this month that there was no “credible evidence” to prove that Epstein kept a client list or that he blackmailed powerful people who supposedly took part in Epstein’s sex crimes. The DOJ also said that, according to all available evidence, Epstein committed suicide in his jail cell. Just 17% of Americans approve of Trump’s handling of the Epstein case, and more than two-thirds of Americans believe the federal government is hiding information on the case, according to a poll conducted earlier this week by Reuters. Despite the poor polling on the issue, however, Trump’s approval remains extremely high among Republicans as Democrats latch onto the issue to blast the president and the GOP. The Trump administration, especially Bondi, was criticized after the DOJ released its findings. The attorney general said in February that she had Epstein’s client list on her desk, but recently, she clarified that she meant she had the Epstein files on her desk for review. The president has blasted those who are focusing on the Epstein case, including his “past supporters,” whom he argues have fallen for a “hoax” pushed by Democrats. As the controversy surrounding the case continues, Maxwell is seeking to appeal her conviction and 20-year sentence.

There’s Another Democratic Socialist Running for Mayor

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt warned the nation about New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani’s socialist agenda on Thursday at a press briefing. But there’s another name she could have added.   Meet Omar Fateh, a Muslim democratic socialist running for Minneapolis mayor.   National attention has recently turned toward this 35-year-old native of the District of Columbia, after a video resurfaced online in which Fateh dismissed concerns about immigrant terrorism and called white people the “greatest domestic threat.”  The son of Somalian immigrants, Fateh grew up outside the Washington, D.C., suburbs, graduating from George Mason University and afterward moving to the greener pastures of Gov. Tim Walz’s Minnesota around 2015.   Though a native of the United States, Fateh frequently refers to Somalia as “home.”   A video on X during a senate campaign speech shows him saying, “I understand that our Somali communities are all connected to each other, here in Minnesota and back home, and I ask for your support.”  Fateh was elected to the Minnesota state Senate in 2020. That’s the same year as the Black Lives Matter riots in Minneapolis, which cost the city around $55 million in damages, according to a New York Post report. Fateh served two terms in the Senate, where he proposed providing free college tuition for families earning under $80,000 a year.  Fateh, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, will face incumbent Mayor Jacob Frey in the November election.  Fateh’s mayoral platform looks very similar to another member of the Democratic Socialists of America—Mamdani.  Besides promising government-paid college education, Fateh is looking to freeze rent prices, raise the minimum wage to $20 an hour, and “end the cycle of the Minneapolis Police Department’s (MPD) violence and brutality that has held our city captive for so many years,” as he says on his website.  According to the Citizen Watch Report, Fateh “pledges to prohibit the Minneapolis Police Department from interacting with [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] under any circumstance.”  Fateh is far to the left on social issues, too. His vision includes supporting illegal aliens in public education, ensuring that Minneapolis remains a “safe haven” for abortion and “gender-affirming health care,” and providing funding for employee resource groups to build and sustain a “diverse workforce.”  But Fateh’s most controversial take yet resurfaced recently on X, where a video from a 2023 Senate floor speech showed him suggesting that his white, Republican colleagues sitting next to him looked like terrorists.  Minneapolis mayoral candidate Omar Fateh: "The real domestic threat is…. Whites" pic.twitter.com/ECM0hCivJx— End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) July 16, 2025 Speaking of illegal aliens, Fateh said, “We’ve heard them being called terrorists. … We’ve heard that they’re a threat to our national security, and that’s a flat out lie.”  “You want to know who the real threat is?” Fateh continued. “They look like many of the members that sit in the front.”   The socialist then cited the Department of Homeland Security, saying, “The greatest domestic threat facing the United States comes from ‘racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists, specifically those who advocate for the superiority of the white race.’”  The post There’s Another Democratic Socialist Running for Mayor appeared first on The Daily Signal.

How to Potty Train Your Dog: Essential Tips and Tricks

Potty training a dog can be a challenging but rewarding process. At DogingtonPost, we understand the importance of establishing good habits early on. Our comprehensive guide offers essential tips for potty training a dog, helping you navigate this crucial stage of pet ownership. We’ll cover effective methods, common challenges, and practical solutions to ensure success. How to Understand Your Dog’s Potty Needs Recognizing Potty Signals Dogs communicate their need to relieve themselves through various signals. These can include sniffing, circling, or whining. If your puppy suddenly becomes restless, pacing back and forth or unable to settle down, it could be a sign that they need to go potty. Pay close attention to these cues, especially after your dog has eaten, drunk water, or woken up from a nap. Selecting the Ideal Potty Spot Pick a specific area outside for your dog’s bathroom breaks. This spot should be easily accessible and away from high-traffic areas in your yard. Consistency is key – always take your dog to this designated spot when it’s time to go. This helps your dog associate the area with the act of elimination, making potty training more efficient. Establishing a Potty Schedule Create a regular feeding and potty routine. Puppies typically need to relieve themselves within 15-30 minutes after eating or drinking. Adult dogs may have more control, but still benefit from a consistent schedule. In general, a puppy can wait one hour per month of life between hygiene breaks. So by the time Puppo is 8–9 months, they should be able to last the night. Implementing Positive Reinforcement Reward your dog immediately after they’ve done their business in the right spot. Use high-value treats, enthusiastic praise, or a favorite toy. This positive association encourages your dog to repeat the desired behavior. Be quick with your praise – dogs have a short memory span for associating actions with consequences. The American Kennel Club suggests that consistency in rewards is essential for successful potty training. They found that dogs trained with positive reinforcement methods learned faster and retained their training better than those trained with punishment-based methods. Handling Accidents Accidents will happen. When they do, clean the area thoroughly with an enzymatic cleaner to remove all traces of odor. This prevents your dog from being drawn back to the same spot for future accidents. Potty training requires patience and persistence. Some dogs may learn quickly, while others may take several weeks or even months to fully grasp the concept. Stay consistent with your approach, and you’ll soon have a well-trained pup who knows exactly where to do their business. Now that we’ve covered the basics of understanding your dog’s potty needs, let’s move on to explore effective potty training methods that can help streamline this process. Proven Potty Training Techniques Potty training your dog requires a combination of patience, consistency, and effective methods. We have compiled a list of proven techniques that have helped countless dog owners successfully potty train their furry friends. Crate Training: A Safe Haven for Learning Crate training has several benefits, including giving your dog their own safe space, promoting potty-training, and ease in traveling. Choose a crate that’s just large enough for your dog to stand, turn around, and lie down comfortably. Any larger, and they might use one end as a bathroom. Introduce your dog to the crate gradually. Make it a positive experience by placing treats and toys inside. Once your dog feels comfortable, use the crate for short periods during the day and at night. Take your dog out to their designated potty area immediately after letting them out of the crate. Paper Training: A Stepping Stone to Outdoor Success Paper training can benefit apartment dwellers or serve as a solution during inclement weather. Start by covering a small area with puppy pads or newspapers. Reduce the covered area as your dog becomes more reliable. When your dog uses the paper, offer immediate praise and treats. However, paper training can sometimes confuse dogs about appropriate elimination spots. It works best as a temporary solution or for dogs that will eventually use an indoor potty area. Bell Training: Teaching Your Dog to Communicate Bell training involves placing a bell or button near the door that you use most frequently to take your dog out to potty. Every time you’re taking your dog out, use their paw to ring the bell. Say a command like “outside” or “potty” as you do this. Your dog will learn to associate the bell with going outside to potty. They’ll start ringing it on their own when they need to go out. Frequent Outdoor Trips: Establishing a Routine Take your dog outside frequently, especially after meals, naps, and playtime. Puppies typically need to go out every 1-2 hours (depending on their age). Adult dogs can usually hold it longer, but still benefit from regular outdoor breaks. Use a consistent command (such as “go potty”) each time you take your dog to their designated spot. This helps them associate the phrase with the action. Positive Reinforcement: Rewarding Success Reward your dog immediately after they’ve done their business in the right spot. Use high-value treats, enthusiastic praise, or a favorite toy. This positive association encourages your dog to repeat the desired behavior. The key to success with any potty training method is consistency. Stick to your chosen technique, and you’ll see results. If you encounter challenges along the way, don’t hesitate to seek advice from a professional dog trainer or your veterinarian. In the next section, we’ll address common potty training hurdles and provide practical solutions to overcome them. Overcoming Common Potty Training Hurdles Dealing with Accidents Accidents occur during potty training. If you catch your dog in the act, interrupt them with a firm “No” and take them to their designated potty area immediately. Praise them lavishly once they finish there. For accidents you discover later, clean the area thoroughly with an enzymatic cleaner. Products like Nature’s Miracle and Bissell Pet Stain Eliminator are effective options. These cleaners break down odor-causing proteins (reducing the likelihood of your dog returning to the same spot). Avoid ammonia-based cleaners, as their scent can attract dogs back to the area. Submissive Urination: A Behavioral Challenge Submissive urination is a behavioral issue, not a potty training problem. It often occurs when a dog feels intimidated or overly excited. To address this: Keep greetings low-key. Avoid direct eye contact and speak in a calm, quiet voice. Reward calm behavior. This encourages your dog to remain composed during interactions. Build your dog’s confidence through positive training experiences and socialization. If the problem persists, consult with a professional dog behaviorist for tailored advice. Separation Anxiety and Potty Problems Separation anxiety can lead to accidents when you’re away. To mitigate this: Practice short departures. Leave for just a few minutes at first, gradually increase the duration. Don’t make a big fuss when leaving or returning home. This helps normalize your comings and goings. Provide engaging toys or puzzles to keep your dog occupied while you’re gone. Consider using a dog camera to monitor your pet’s behavior and identify triggers. For severe cases, speak with your veterinarian about potential anti-anxiety medications or treatments. Counterconditioning can also be effective, focusing on developing an association between being alone and good things, like delicious food. Nighttime Potty Management Nighttime accidents are common, especially with puppies. To manage this: Consistency is key in overcoming these challenges. Stay patient and positive, and you’ll see progress. If you struggle, don’t hesitate to seek help from a professional trainer or your veterinarian. They can provide personalized strategies based on your dog’s specific needs and behaviors. Final Thoughts Potty training a dog requires dedication, patience, and consistency. You must recognize your dog’s potty signals, establish a designated area, and maintain a consistent schedule. Positive reinforcement plays a vital role – reward your dog generously for correct behavior. We explored various effective methods, including crate training, paper training, and bell training. Each approach has merits, and you might find a combination works best for your situation. Don’t feel discouraged by setbacks; accidents are part of the learning process (clean them thoroughly and persist). For more tips for potty training a dog and expert advice on all aspects of dog care, visit DogingtonPost. We provide the latest information and resources to help you become the best dog parent possible. BREAKING: Bombshell documents referred to DOJ expose Obama's direct role in Russia hoax

Shortly after Donald Trump shocked the world by winning the 2016 election, the media and deep state actors began work to subvert his win. The public-facing campaign began when BuzzFeed published an unvetted dossier compiled by a former British spy at the behest of the Hillary Clinton campaign. To recap, the Clinton campaign funneled money to the Democratic National Committee, which hired a law firm to then hire an opposition research firm, Fusion GPS, which hired former British spy Christopher Steele to compose the since-debunked briefing.'The integrity of our democratic republic demands that every person involved be investigated and brought to justice to prevent this from ever happening again.'Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is now alleging that the campaign-funded document formed the basis of a "treasonous conspiracy by officials at the highest levels of the Obama White House to subvert the will of the American people and try to usurp the President from fulfilling his mandate.” “Americans will finally learn the truth about how in 2016," Gabbard wrote on X Friday, "intelligence was politicized and weaponized by the most powerful people in the Obama Administration to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President [Donald Trump], subverting the will of the American people and undermining our democratic republic.”The documents show around the beginning of December 2016, the U.S. intelligence community compiled an assessment for then-President Obama concluding, “Russia ‘did not impact recent U.S. election results’ by conducting cyber attacks on infrastructure.” She added, “Before it could reach the President, it was abruptly pulled ‘based on new guidance.’ This key intelligence assessment was never published.”The documents point to Obama ordering FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to direct their agencies to "create a new intelligence assessment that detailed Russian election meddling, even though it would contradict multiple intelligence assessments released over the previous several months.”The day after the reported meeting, leaks appeared in the Washington Post and NBC News. The DNI report details “whistleblower emails” it says prove Clapper and Brennan used the Steele dossier as the basis to put forward a false narrative.RELATED: The Russian collusion hoax began, continued, and ended with Hillary Clinton Aude Guerrucci-Pool/Getty Images“This betrayal concerns every American," Gabbard wrote. "The integrity of our democratic republic demands that every person involved be investigated and brought to justice to prevent this from ever happening again.”The DNI referred the newly revealed documents to the Department of Justice for potential prosecution.Public reaction was swift. Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk said on X that the revelations show that “it was all a giant HOAX.” He then called on the Department of Justice to “investigate and prosecute.”“This is surreal," Gen. Mike Flynn, former national security adviser in Trump's first term, said on X. "Here in America, the Director of National Intelligence @DNIGabbard is now stating emphatically that a former President of the United States @BarackObama attempted a coup against the @POTUS @realDonaldTrump.”The full trove of documents released Friday can be found here. Left-wing activist arrested in brutal attack on reporter at anti-ICE protest in Seattle

The attack on a right-wing independent reporter at a Seattle anti-ICE protest has led to the arrest of a man who denies he is affiliated with Antifa but admits to being a left-wing activist.Jeremy Lawson, 33, made a court appearance on Thursday after being accused of assaulting Cam Higby, who was covering the protests in June.'It's a group of these Antifa guys. ... I film them committing crimes, and they don't like that.' Higby told KOMO-TV he was left with a concussion and head trauma despite wearing tactical gear that included a helmet. He is still recovering from the alleged beating and says he went to the emergency room that night seeking medical attention. Higby says he was targeted by left-wing activists because he was documenting their illegal activities. "It's a group of these Antifa guys," he said to KOMO. "I film them committing crimes, and they don't like that."Before his arrest, Lawson admitted to being a left-wing activist but claimed he was not connected to Antifa."I have nothing against Higby and wasn't at the protest that night," he claimed in a statement to the Center Square. "I am an IWW advocate (Industrial Workers of the World) and a Black Panther supporter and only want to unionize the working poor, create equality in the workplace and take back the means of production. ... I'm in no way affiliated with Antifa."He also said that he's lost his job because of the accusations.Lawson is facing a charge of felony assault in the second degree. "I hope it sends a message that people will eventually get caught, and I won't be deterred from going into the field," Higby said to KOMO.KOMO included the video of the assault in their news report below. It shows Higby on the ground as he is assaulted, and then he defends himself with the use of pepper spray. RELATED: Antifa and far-left agitators take over University of Washington building, start fire: Report Prosecutors argued that Lawson was a safety risk based on messages he posted on social media as well as private texts to Higby that unnerved the victim. In the exchange via text, a person identifying as Lawson used Higby's legal name, which isn't public. He then added that he wouldn't rest until "justice was served" and made a reference to the neighborhood where Higby lives.Prosecutor Jonathan Arnold also cited a message on social media where Lawson claimed innocence but added that he supported the assault of Higby. A judge set his bail at $75,000. Criminal records show that Lawson pleaded guilty to criminal trespass and resisting arrest in a previous case. Like Blaze News?
