Watch: Trump Drops the Hammer on Kamala Harris, Strikes Her with Brutal Reminder of Why She's Loathed

"Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." -- John F. Kennedy. "Let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself -- nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat...

Caitlin Clark Shines in Career-High Game, Helps Carry Team to 3rd Straight Win in Gritty Fashion

Another game. Another questionable foul. Another impressive performance. And -- somewhat improbably, given how the season started -- another win for WNBA star Caitlin Clark and her Indiana Fever teammates. According to basketball outlet The Spun, Clark managed 18 points and 12 rebounds -- the latter a career high -- in...

Shipping Industry Demands Action After Islamic Terrorists Sink Another Major Vessel

Shipping Industry Demands Action After Islamic Terrorists Sink Another Major Vessel

The international shipping industry is demanding action after Islamic terrorists backed by Iran sank another major vessel in the Red Sea in the last several days. The Houthi’s attack last week on the M/V Tutor — a Liberian flagged, Greek-owned and operated bulk cargo carrier — featured the use of an uncrewed surface vessel (USV) and missiles. The ship began to take on water immediately and eventually sank to the Red Sea’s bottom several days later. Numerous shipping and maritime associations called for immediate action to be taken following the attack, which also resulted in the death of a civilian crew member. The joint statement said: The shipping community is appalled and deeply saddened with the tragic news that, yet another seafarer seems certain to have been killed in a drone boat strike on Wednesday 12 June while on board the MV Tutor in the Red Sea. We utterly condemn these assaults which directly contravene the fundamental principle of freedom of navigation. Our thoughts and condolences go to the family and loved ones of the seafarer who tragically lost their life. It is deplorable that innocent seafarers are being attacked while simply performing their jobs, vital jobs which keep the world warm, fed, and clothed. This is the second fatal attack in which our seafarers have been caught in the crosshairs of geopolitical conflicts. Three seafarers tragically lost their lives when the True Confidence was attacked earlier this year. And we must not forget the crew members from the Galaxy Leader and MSC Aries who are still being held captive. Furthermore, we strongly condemn the attack on the cargo ship Verbena on Thursday 13 June which left a seafarer severely injured by anti-ship cruise missiles. This is an unacceptable situation, and these attacks must stop now. We call for States with influence in the region to safeguard our innocent seafarers and for the swift de-escalation of the situation in the Red Sea. We have heard the condemnation and appreciate the words of support, but we urgently seek action to stop the unlawful attacks on these vital workers and this vital industry. We hope that on this year’s Day of The Seafarer on Tuesday 25 June the world takes a moment to recognise the immense contribution that seafarers make to the global economy and the unjust circumstances they are facing in the Red Sea and across the world. The co-signatories to the statement included the Asian Shipowners’ Associations (ASA), BIMCO, Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), European Community Shipowners’ Association (ECSA), INTERMANAGER, International Association of Dry Cargo Shipowners (INTERCARGO), International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH), International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), International Federation of Shipmasters’ Associations (IFSMA), International Maritime Employers’ Council (IMEC), International Maritime Pilots’ Association (IMPA), International Parcel Tankers Association (IPTA), The Federation of National Associations of Ship Brokers and Agents (FONASBA), and the World Shipping Council (WSC). CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP Video released on Wednesday showed the moment that the USV struck the rear of the ship which was followed up with a secondary hit on the side of the vessel and what appeared to be a third strike at the rear of the ship, according to the video. The M/V Tutor is believed to be the second major shipping vessel that the Houthis have sunk over the past several months. The Houthis have been emboldened by President Joe Biden’s refusal to hold them accountable for their terrorist attacks by launching the type of strikes needed to deter further aggression.

Police Say Transgender Suspect Admits To Murdering Parents: ‘I Would Do It Again. I Hate Them.’

The transgender suspect accused of murdering his parents at a home in Utah has admitted to the killings and stated that he would do it again, police said on Wednesday. Law enforcement officials arrested 28-year-old Collin Troy Bailey after he was found in a field of weeds on Wednesday following a roughly 12-hour search that began the night before after they received a call about a shooting at a home where a man and a woman were found dead. Bailey, a man who claims that he is a woman, was charged with two counts of aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder, seven counts of shooting a gun, and aggravated burglary. The victims — identified as 69-year-old Gail Bailey and 70-year-old Joseph — were Bailey’s parents, local media reported. Police documents said that Bailey had no remorse for murdering his parents, allegedly saying: “I would do it again. I hate them.” A police booking affidavit stated that Bailey told law enforcement that he went to the home specifically to murder his parents. Neighbors told police that there was a lot of “volatility and bad vibes” in the family. Bailey told police that he had “strained relationships” with multiple other family members, the document said. Multiple family members told police that they were afraid of him. Someone in the home heard the gunshots and fled to a neighbor’s house, where they called the police. Bailey’s brother reportedly locked himself and his wife in his bedroom during the killings. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP Bailey shot at the locked bedroom and told police that he didn’t care if he killed his brother, according to a booking affidavit. He told police that upon breaking into the home, he opened fire on his mother, shooting her three times. When his father started coming toward him, he shot his father in the head. He later returned and shot both parents again in the head to ensure that they were dead. “Mia describes jumping fences or walls, hiding in bushes, sleeping in a park bathroom, and other efforts to elude law enforcement,” police said in the document. “Mia bragged about [his] ability to avoid the efforts of law enforcement to locate [him], including evading officers, hiding from helicopters and hiding from drones.”

Down For Dance: Incredible Program Provides Artistic Outlet For People With Down Syndrome

There are not many programs developed specifically for people with Down syndrome. Noticing this void, Annie Griffith and Sari Anna Thomas devised a solution. Down for Dance, created in 2017, is a non-profit organization. Griffith grew up with a brother with Down syndrome, so the issue was close to her heart. The program holds nothing back. Some choreography is quite complex, and the dancers step up with pride and precision. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Down For Dance (@downfordance) In the video above, Joey is the first Down for Dance student to perform a solo routine. After watching, it is evident he was born to dance! During an interview with CBS, Griffith said, “They love music. They’re visual learners. This is what I always say, that dance is our universal language. Some may be non-verbal, but we, when we come into this space, like we all dance and we all understand each other.” Down for Dance began with 2 weekly dance classes and about 20 dancers. Since 2017, the nonprofit has grown tenfold and now serves almost 200 students in 22 states. The program added art and yoga in 2020 and continues to grow. For those with Down syndrome, the programs offer a way to express themselves through music. The dance movements assist with motor skills, balance, coordination, and strength. The social interactions help them make friends, gain self-confidence, and stay active. Image from Instagram. The program is getting some much-deserved recognition as Griffith and Thomas continue to grow their reach. The dancers are amazing. They strive to learn difficult choreography and practice until they get it right. They have fun in the classes and are gaining great skills. Nothing is beyond their grasp. No matter your mood, you will smile when you start watching these dancers. They are truly incredible! Stay Involved With Down For Dance You can follow these amazing dancers on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. If you know a family with special needs, you can check their website, Down for Dance, to find classes or programs in your area. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here.
