Terrified beagle rescued from lab can’t contain emotions when she finds place to call home

When Lori was presented with the chance to foster an abused beagle named Ella‚ she didn’t think twice. Ella’s story is one of resilience and hope‚ a tale that begins with her rescue from a life of suffering. The Humane Society of the United States played a pivotal role in saving Ella‚ along with 4‚000... Lioness has just given birth to a baby cub when man puts his hands on her baby

Meet a man who’s not your average cat enthusiast. While most feline mothers‚ including domestic cats‚ tend to hide their kittens until they feel safe and trusting‚ this story takes a wild turn. In the animal kingdom‚ mothers are known for their protective nature‚ but the feline mom in this tale is quite extraordinary. The... Politico Confirms Biden’s Top Priority For Term 2: ABORTION

Hey‚ at least they’re being transparent! Earlier this week Politico released a piece titled‚ “Biden’s Top Priority For a Second Term: Abortion Rights" based on Biden’s deputy campaign manager‚ Quentin Fulks‚ who‚ during an interview Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press‚” insisted that Biden was “adamant” to “restore Roe.” “The president has been adamant that we need to restore Roe. It is unfathomable that women today wake up in a country with less rights than their ancestors had years ago‚” Fulks insisted. Politico also mentioned that despite Biden not being “big on abortion” because of his Catholic faith‚ he still wants others to get the chance to kill their kids if they wish. Politico also added that Biden thinks Roe “got it right” and hopes to reinstate the 1973 decision as federal law. Predictably‚ Politico brought up the story of Kate Cox. As a refresher‚ Cox’s child was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 when she was 20 weeks pregnant. Cox wanted to kill her child‚ but was barred from the procedure thanks to Texas' heartbeat law. Cox‚ and supporters of her getting an abortion‚ insisted that the child needed to die in order to save Cox’s life‚ claiming the child wouldn't survive birth anyway.  Except none of that’s true. Many children who are diagnosed with Trisomy 18 live long happy lives‚ and the condition isn't threatening to the mother's life. Nonetheless‚ Politico mentioned how peeved Biden was at the situation and how it furthered his desire to make abortion access a top priority if he wins in 2024. “No woman should be forced to go to court or flee her home state just to receive the health care she needs‚” Biden said at the time‚ according to Politico. “But that is exactly what happened in Texas thanks to Republican elected officials‚ and it is simply outrageous. This should never happen in America‚ period.” Politico was insistent that this mindset will help Biden win in 2024. “When abortion rights are on the ballot‚ they win with voters across the political spectrum‚” the outlet wrote. The Daily Signal’s Mary Margaret Olohan posted Politico’s article and users added their thoughts on the outlet’s boldness.  Related: 6 Lies From Ms. Magazine Bull S**T Piece on Pro-Life Movement “They’re not being shy about it at the state level either‚” Students for Life America President Kristan Hawkins wrote and added a link to an article that talked about the issue of abortion in state ballots. Others replied directly to Politico’s tweet of the article. “Headline correction: ‘Biden’s top priority for a second term: butchering unborn babies‚’” one user commented. Another said “murder is no one’s right‚” while one more said “Can’t make it safe it is murder.” All in all‚ its obvious that the media is all in when it comes to abortion and are still trying to pass Biden’s pro-abort stance as flex.  Follow us on Twitter/X: “For them to actually fund this through the State Dept‚ then brainwash children and teachers about how evil conservatives are‚ that sounds kinda Hitler-y.”@BrentBozell tells @LarryOConnor how the Biden admin pushed German censorship to American teachershttps://t.co/hLWFlP99gy pic.twitter.com/dNSXbEXP5D — Media Research Center (@theMRC) January 10‚ 2024

Mitchell Repeatedly Pesters Blinken From The Left On Israel

MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell sat down for an interview with Secretary of State Atony Blinken that aired on her Wednesday show and featured nothing but questions and statements from Blinken’s left on everything from imploring him to end the war before Hamas’s defeat to accusing Israel of targeting journalists’ families. Mitchell began by repeating Hamas statistics as if they true to justify her desire that Israel end the war now‚ “This is the fourth time you have been in Israel since October 7 and you have said from the beginning that that massacre had to be responded to‚ that Israel had to invade‚ but now it has been 100 days. It’s 23‚000 Palestinian civilian lives‚ according to reports. The hostages‚ 134 hostages‚ six Americans included have been there for all this time. Things have changed. Doesn't Israel now have to wind this down? Isn't that what you want?”     That is fake news. The 23‚000 number is not Palestinian civilians‚ but all Palestinians including Hamas fighters because Hamas knows that if they include combatant deaths in the total that people like Mitchell will dutifully repeat it. As for Blinken’s response‚ he affirmed he does want the war to “end as quickly as possible‚” but “it's vital Israel be able to do everything possible to ensure October 7th never happens again again and it’s has made good progress toward that objective.” Mitchell wasn’t convinced‚ again lamenting Israel does not want to let Hamas off the hook‚ “You say they made significant progress‚ but yet‚ an important minister‚ [Defense Minister Yoav] Gallant‚ said they are about to attack Khan Yunis in the south very strongly and there are people there who haven't even been moved back to the north.” Blinken essentially repeated his previous answer‚ while adding “we want to do everything we possibly can to increase protections for civilians‚ to make sure humanitarian assistance is getting in and getting to people who need it‚ and that's what we are working on relentlessly every day and of course‚ the hostages.” On the matter of hostage releases‚ Mitchell again had a culprit for why it isn't happening and it wasn’t Hamas‚ “Can that happen with Israel -- with other people taking out a Hamas leader and Hezbollah leader with two assassinations? Will that expand the war? Will that make it more difficult to even get negotiations going again?” Blinken sidestepped the issue of Israel whacking terrorist leaders in Lebanon to simply say that the U.S. and other countries in the region‚ including Israel‚ do not seek an expansion of the conflict. Mitchell could’ve responded by noting that despite everyone’s wishes‚ Houthi attacks in the Red Sea‚ but she took a different route‚ instead repeating an Al Jazeera claim that Israel is intentionally targeting journalists’ families: You heard from the Al Jazeera Jerusalem bureau chief about his colleague in Gaza. The tragedy‚ this bureau chief‚ a veteran correspondent‚ has lost now his wife‚ his son‚ a daughter‚ an infant grandchild‚ and now an elder son. Did you raise that with the government here in Israel? Because there are many who believe that this was a targeted -- these are targeted killings of this bureau chief's children and wife‚ the entire family.  Al Jazeera might as well rename itself Hamas TV‚ but Blinken simply expressed that he cannot “possibly imagine what this man has been through.” It should be noted that the IDF has said the son was operating a drone‚ "We understand they were putting a drone‚ using a drone. And using a drone in a war zone‚ it’s a problem. It looks like the terrorists." Not one question about Hamas prolonging the war by not surrendering or Hezbollah being at fault for the situation in the north or the Houthis escalating things in the Red Sea by targeting commercial shipping that has nothing to do with Israel. Here is a transcript for the January 10 show: MSNBC Andrea Mitchell Reports 1/10/2024 12:24 PM ET ANDREA MITCHELL: This is the fourth time you have been in Israel since October 7 and you have said from the beginning that that massacre had to be responded to‚ that Israel had to invade‚ but now it has been 100 days. It’s 23‚000 Palestinian civilian lives‚ according to reports. The hostages‚ 134 hostages‚ six Americans included have been there for all this time. Things have changed. Doesn't Israel now have to wind this down? Isn't that what you want?  ANTONY BLINKEN: Well‚ we all want to see this conflict end as quickly as possible. We all want to see the suffering‚ people who are caught in the middle‚ end as quickly as possible. It's vital Israel be able to do everything possible to ensure October 7th never happens again and it’s has made good progress toward that objective.  MITCHELL: You say they made significant progress‚ but yet‚ an important minister‚ Gallant‚ said they are about to attack Khan Yunis in the south very strongly and there are people there who haven't even been moved back to the north.  BLINKEN: So‚ we've seen now a phase down of the operations in the north. That's important. We’ve seen the withdrawal of a significant number forces-- Israeli forces that were in Gaza‚ particularly again in the north where they have achieved a lot.  And as I said‚ we want to see this conflict come to an end as quickly as possible consistent with Israel's objective of making sure that October 7th doesn't happen again and as they're completing that effort‚ we want to do everything we possibly can to increase protections for civilians‚ to make sure humanitarian assistance is getting in and getting to people who need it‚ and that's what we are working on relentlessly every day and of course‚ the hostages. I had an opportunity to meet with families again. I met with many of them -- almost all of them before on several occasions‚ including with President Biden. For them‚ these three months have been an eternity. Every day‚ every hour‚ every minute feels like an eternity. So‚ we’re also relentlessly focused on bringing them home.  … MITCHELL: Can that happen with Israel -- with other people taking out a Hamas leader and Hezbollah leader with two assassinations? Will that expand the war? Will that make it more difficult to even get negotiations going again?  BLINKEN: Well‚ first‚ we're determined that the war not expand‚ that we don't see new fronts opening‚ that we don't see escalation and that was something that I heard from every country I visited on this trip so far. We were in Turkey‚ we were in Greece‚ we were in Jordan‚ Qatar‚ in the UAE‚ in Saudi Arabia before coming to Israel and everyone has a strongly shared interest‚ including Israel‚ in ING escalation and expansion and for Lebanon‚ for example‚ it's clear to me that Israel does not want escalation and they believe as we do that pursuing a diplomatic path to try to make sure that the conditions exist so that people in Israel who've been forced from their homes in northern Israel‚ 80‚000‚ because of insecurity‚ because of the threat coming from Hezbollah‚ feel secure so that they can come home and equally‚ we want to see people in southern Lebanon be able to return to their homes and we're on a diplomatic path to try to get that to happen.  … MITCHELL: You heard from the Al Jazeera Jerusalem bureau chief about his colleague in Gaza. BLINKEN: First Andrea as I said‚ I don't think any of us can possibly imagine what this man has been through. I'm a parent‚ a father‚ that he had this -- the worst possible loss‚ not once but twice as well as his wife. Again‚ I can't begin to imagine and my heart goes out to him. It goes out to the many -- the far too many innocent people who’ve lost their lives in this conflict and when it comes to Palestinian men‚ women and children‚ or for that matter when it comes to journalists –  MITCHELL: 79 journalists since the war began according to the Committee to Protect Journalists since this war began.  … MITCHELL: There are many criticisms that Israel is not working with the United Nations. You saw the canned goods in Amman that were being delivered. It's a third of the truckloads that there were before the war. People‚ 95 percent‚ you said‚ have food insecurity that can have lifelong consequences for children. Does Israel have to work with the United Nations with whom it has had decades of an adversarial relationship because of U.N. resolutions and hostile criticism and the U.S. has supported Israel on almost all of this‚ isn't it critical for this stuff to get in?  BLINKEN: The short answer is yes. Yes‚ it is. It is imperative that Israel work with the United Nations. It's imperative this assistance get in‚ that more of it get in and that once it's in‚ it get effectively to the people who need it. The United Nations is the only game in town. They're the ones on the ground incredibly courageously given they are in the middle of a conflict‚ in the middle of a war‚ trying to get assistance to people who need it and they’ve done extraordinary things and it requires cooperation because there's no alternative. There's no choice. No one else is going to do it and if the U.N. wasn't doing it‚ well‚ it would be Israel's responsibility to do it. So‚ this is something again that we have talked about extensively. Look‚ we’ve made real progress over the last couple of months in opening up new entry points.

VIDEO: The Worst of MSNBC’s Worst (Now-Former) Host‚ Mehdi Hasan

When unhinged beta males like Chris Hayes are mourning your departure from MSNBC‚ you’re definitely doing something wrong. Mehdi Hasan’s now-defunct MSNBC show‚ while obscure and inconsequential‚ was home to some of the wildest left-wing takes ever aired on the cable network. If one were to describe the totality of Hasan’s politics in a single sentence‚ that sentence would have to include descriptors like DNC cheerleader‚ Hamas apologist‚ race baiter‚ and‚ insufferable limey. Take a gander at our Worst of Mehdi compilation for some of his greatest hits‚ and be grateful that you probably never even knew this show existed before it got the axe:     Over the past few months‚ Hasan has spent sizable weekly portions of his show equating Israel to Hamas‚ and complaining that people were calling him antisemitic online for equating Israel to Hamas. His response to these attacks — as well as his response to most other things that he disliked — was to cry racism. Take for example this leading question he posed to Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) on October 22: All‚ or almost all‚ of the at least 18 House Democrats who’ve called for a ceasefire in Gaza are people of color. How much of the Congressional indifference to Palestinian life in Gaza‚ the refusal in D.C. to acknowledge the humanity and innocence‚ not to mention suffering‚ of ordinary Gaza’s — how much of that is driven by the fact that they’re Arabs‚ or they’re mostly all Muslims‚ or they don’t look like us‚ do you think? As an MSNBC host‚ Hasan was afflicted with the same horrific brand of Trump derangement from which all of his colleagues suffered. But he also harbored a very special‚ pointed hatred for Florida Governor and Presidential candidate Ron DeSantis. On January 29 of 2023‚ he remarked: “Under DeSantis‚ Florida’s gone from don’t-say-gay‚ to don’t-say-black.” He would later claim DeSantis had “graduated from whitewashing black history‚ to simply erasing it.” Hasan often found himself far to the left of the party whose water he carried. This resulted in routine softball interviews with some of the most radical Democrats in Congress. In June of 2022‚ he hosted then-Representative Mondaire Jones (D-NY)‚ a vocal advocate of court-packing. Naturally‚ Mehdi was enamored with the idea: Why is there seemingly no support from Democrats — like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi‚ Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer‚ or even President Biden — for real Supreme Court reform‚ for expanding the court‚ rebalancing‚ as you’ve proposed? We don’t know what Mehdi’s next career move will be‚ but hopefully it’ll involve him talking to a camera so we can keep putting him in our cringe compilations. Until then though‚ we wish him the best.

The View BEGS Liz Cheney to Run Third Party to Stop Trump in 2024

With the calendar finally reading “2024‚” the realization and panic seemed to be really setting in for the liberal cast of ABC’s The View. During an interview with former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney‚ which spanned most of the Wednesday show‚ moderator Whoopi Goldberg and co-host Sara Haines literally begged Cheney to launch a third party and/or run third party in order to stop former President Trump from possibly beating President Biden‚ if he won the GOP nomination. After returning from a commercial break‚ Goldberg immediately floated the idea of Cheney finding a “smart” Democrat to start a third party with. “I have felt for a long time that there's no reason why you can't find somebody smart on the left and somebody smart on the right and put them together and make that the new party‚” she opined. Faux conservative Ana Navarro quipped that a “Cheney/Goldberg” ticket could be in the works. Goldberg shot it down‚ saying that running for office wasn’t for her‚ but pressed Cheney on the idea and claimed elections would be outlawed if Trump was elected again: Do you see yourself and would you ever consider being the conduit to that third party? Because I don't know if the Republican Party as we knew it will survive this because if he ever gets in again we'll never have any more elections. There will be no more. He will stop it and he's very clear about that. He wants to be dictator for life! Okay?     Goldberg all but got down on her knees “begging” Cheney to run third party. “So I wonder would you ever consider‚ please‚ would you‚ please consider being that person? … Would you – please – I'm begging you. Look‚ I'm on one knee‚” she pleaded. Cheney didn’t give a definitive answer‚ just a word salad response about how she had hope for civil discourse in America (Click “expand”): CHENEY: I think honestly‚ Whoopi‚ that there are millions of Americans -- I think the majority of Americans agree with what you just said in terms of the need for us to be able to say‚ “you know‚ let's have the debates about policy and substance‚ but we love our country more than our political party.” And going forward‚ we have to be able to come together. The most effective relationships and debates and work that I did in the House in addition to the select committee was work with some of the people that Ana was mentioning‚ the Democratic members‚ the women‚ people like Abigail Spanburger and Elissa Slotkin. People who – we disagree but could sit down and say‚ “Why do you think that?” GOLDBERG: Yes. CHENEY: “Teach me” and then‚ you know‚ you have those kind of exchanges. I do think that's where our politics is going‚ and I certainly want to be a part of helping make sure that helps. Haines followed up by whining about independents not being allowed to participate in party primaries in most states. “Liz‚ one thing as an independent that bothers me is that independents decide elections. And the way our system is set up with the way our primaries and many of them being closed‚ the people like me don't get to participate in choosing‚ which I think is driving to majorly partisan elected people like the Marjorie Taylor Greenes‚ like the Donald Trumps‚” she huffed. Saying she “now concedes” that she “can't participate in a lot of states‚” Haines suggested she “would just take a good person” like Cheney‚ then proceeded to press her to run third party too: “Would you ever run for president?” “Oh‚ well‚ I haven't -- I'm not going to rule it out. I haven't made a decision about that‚” Cheney said. Their desire for Cheney to run third party was dripping with hypocrisy. Back in July‚ The View was viciously against the idea of a third-party campaign from the No Labels Party‚ because it could harm Biden. And in November‚ they lashed out at Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) because their were rumors he was thinking of running third party. The transcript is below. Click "expand" to read: ABC’s The View January 10‚ 2024 11:49:44 a.m. Eastern WHOOPI GOLDBERG: Hey‚ we're back with Liz Cheney and I have a question because I have felt for a long time that there's no reason why you can't find somebody smart on the left and somebody smart on the right and put them together and make that the new party. ANA NAVARRO: Is this going to be a new ticket? Cheney/Goldberg? GOLDBERG: Never me but I tell you‚ we probably don't agree on a lot of stuff but we agree on the fact that we have a great deal of respect for the country. For our country and how we want to see it run. Do you see yourself and would you ever consider being the conduit to that third party? Because I don't know if the Republican Party as we knew it will survive this‚ because if he ever gets in again we'll never have any more elections. There will be no more. He will stop it and he's very clear about that. He wants to be dictator for life! Okay? So I wonder would you ever consider‚ please‚ would you‚ please consider being that person? Because I got to tell you‚ I was really -- I don't understand how people can say‚ “we're with you‚ we're with you‚ we're with you‚” and then when you need them they go‚ “oh‚ but we're with him now.” I don't understand that and I don't understand how you find the grace not to be pissed at folks. LIZ CHENEY: Oh‚ I'm not. [Crosstalk] GOLDBERG: You're mad at them but you're not pissed at them. Because if you were pissed at them‚ you would have given up on them‚ and you haven’t. And so‚ would you – please – I'm begging you. [Laughter] Look‚ I'm on one knee. CHENEY: I think honestly‚ Whoopi‚ that there are millions of Americans -- I think the majority of Americans agree with what you just said in terms of the need for us to be able to say‚ “you know‚ let's have the debates about policy and substance‚ but we love our country more than our political party.” And going forward‚ we have to be able to come together. I do think that's where our politics is going‚ and I certainly want to be a part of helping make sure that helps. SARA HAINES: Liz‚ one thing as an independent that bothers me is that independents decide elections. And the way our system is setup with the way our primaries‚ and many of them being closed‚ the people like me don't get to participate in choosing‚ which I think is driving to majorly partisan elected people like the Marjorie Taylor Greenes‚ like the Donald Trumps. I'm now concedes because I can't participate in a lot of states I would just take a good person‚ someone who believes in what you've spoken to and what you spoken [gestures to Goldberg and Cheney]. Would you ever run for president? [Applause] CHENEY: Oh‚ well‚ I haven't -- I'm not going to rule it out. I haven't made a decision about that. (…)

President of Canadian LGBT organization ousted following arrest for alleged sex crimes against children

The now-former head of a Canadian LGBT activist group has been arrested and charged with multiple sex crimes against children. Sean Gravells served as president of the North Peace Pride Society from 2018 until Friday‚ when the group announced his removal from the board following a Jan. 3 vote. Dan McLaughlin‚ a spokesman for the British Columbia Prosecution Service‚ told Canadian state media Monday that Gravells‚ 39‚ has been accused of molesting an individual under the age of 16‚ sexual interference of a person under 16‚ possession of child pornography‚ and importation or distribution of child pornography. Gravells‚ who indicated in a 2022 Meta post that he had gone to work for WESCO Distribution‚ is alleged to have victimized children in northern British Columbia in or around Fort St. John. Whereas the alleged molestation is said to have occurred on Dec. 29‚ the child porn charges occurred on Dec. 31. The North Peace Pride Society‚ which has scrubbed the alleged pedophile's biography from its website‚ appears to have been sponsored in recent years by various Canadian banks and local institutions. The NPPS has hosted events for minors in recent years‚ such as its May 2022 "Pride Teen Night" for teens ages 13-18. Gravells told EnergeticCity.ca ahead of an apparently all-ages drag show in 2022‚ "We've got‚ potentially‚ a young person who's never tried drag before‚ but they really want to try. So we're going to help them out as much as we can with costumes‚ makeup. We can't do everything for them‚ but we can definitely provide some guidance." The NPPS said in a Jan. 5 statement‚ "On December 31‚ 2023‚ one of our board members was arrested and is facing severe charges inconsistent with the North Peace Pride Society's mission and code of conduct." "While some board members work directly with youth through library programs‚ this person was not among them‚" said the statement. "All board members involved in youth program have undergone criminal record checks." It's presently unclear whether Gravells previously had a criminal record. The NPPS vowed that moving forward‚ all of its board members would be subjected to "record checks to uphold the highest standards." A spokesman for the federal police operating in Fort St. John declined to provide state media with additional details regarding Gravells' arrest. McLaughlin indicated he appeared in provincial court on Jan. 1 and his arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 29. Like Blaze News?
