Reactions to CO ruling: From It’s KGB Tactics to It’s a Trick

“RIPDon” is trending on X as the Left sees the Colorado ruling to keep Donald Trump off the ballot for president in 2024 as the game-changer. The reactions from politicians were varied‚ with nothing coming from Mitch McConnell and John Thune. If they won’t stand up for the Constitution‚ why are they in Republican leadership? At Least 15 Dead In Mass Shooting In Prague

At least 15 people are dead after a gunman opened fire on a university campus in the Czech capital of Prague on Thursday. The shooting is one of the deadliest to take place in the country. The shooter took his own life‚ according to The New York Times. The gunman was a student at Prague’s Charles University and started the rampage inside the school’s philosophy department‚ Prague Police Chief Martin Vondrasek said‚ according to the Associated Press. Police have not released the name of the shooter or announced a suspected motive. Investigators do not suspect that the gunman was connected to extremist ideology or groups‚ Czech Interior Minister Vit Rakusan said. Witnesses of the shooting say they saw a gunman standing on a balcony of a building and shooting down at people on the outside. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala was on a trip to the city of Olomouc when the shooting took place‚ causing him to cut the trip short and return to the capital city‚ according to the Times. In updates posted to social media on Thursday‚ Prague police warned nearby residents to stay in their homes and for civilians to leave the area‚ if possible. The Czech Republic is the only country in Europe in which residents have a constitutional right to bear arms‚ though firearm ownership in the country is tightly controlled. In order to own a gun‚ one must pass a test of questions drawn from a pool of over 500. In order to get a concealed carry license‚ an applicant can miss no more than one question on the test. All prospective gun owners must also submit to a background check‚ receive medical clearance‚ and pass other hurdles.

Maryland High School Sees 10 Fights In One Day‚ Student Caught With Handgun

A Maryland high school saw at least ten fights break out in just one day this week‚ and two days later a student was caught with a loaded handgun. The string of fights happened Tuesday and the gun incident occurred Thursday at Charles Herbert Flowers High School near Washington‚ D.C.‚ prompting an investigation by school administrators. On Thursday‚ a student was found in possession of a loaded handgun‚ the school said in a letter to parents. The student was let in through a side door by another student and quickly confronted and searched by school security‚ the letter said. No students or staff were harmed or actively threatened in the handgun incident‚ the school said. Police arrested an 18-year-old male suspect in connection with the gun incident. He faces several charges‚ including having a loaded handgun on his person. #NEW a @pgcps Flowers HS parent told me they’re glad they didn’t send their child today. School letter says a student entered the bulding w/a loaded handgun – let in a side door by another student but immediately stopped. No injuries. Comes after 10 fights reported Tuesday. https://t.co/30s20qj3e9 pic.twitter.com/mK11Aiiewr — Stephanie Ramirez (@RamirezReports) December 21‚ 2023 “Discuss with your child the consequences‚ such as expulsion‚ for bringing weapons or anything that resembles a weapon to school. Please encourage your child to always immediately report the sighting of any weapon or suspicious objects on school grounds to a staff member or trusted adult‚” Assistant Principal Diedra Smalis Screws wrote in a Thursday letter to parents. The gun incident comes after the school saw at least ten fights break out two days earlier. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP One large brawl in a school hallway was captured on video and posted to social media. Dozens of students can be seen watching the fight. Another scuffle outside was also caught on video. The school sent a letter to parents about the fights on Wednesday‚ informing them about a “concerning series of multiple altercations.” .@pgcps confirms 10 FIGHTS took place at Charles E. Flowers HS yesterday. Several videos posted under the account “flowerssrampage” show the chaos. Several parents blamed the fighting on the absence of their principal‚ who his union confirmed‚ was JUST reinstated today. 🧵 pic.twitter.com/zMz8kF9xfq — Stephanie Ramirez (@RamirezReports) December 21‚ 2023 “School administration is in communication with the families of individuals involved‚ and we assure you we are taking action to ensure safety in our school‚” the school told parents in the letter. “In no way do these incidents reflect the values and standards of our school. We must work together to guide our students towards making better decisions and promoting a school climate that values cooperation and understanding. We appreciate your help in reinforcing these principles at home‚” the assistant principal wrote. Students allegedly opened doors to the building‚ allowing students from other schools to join the fights‚ some of which were prompted over small things like one student stepping on another’s shoes‚ according to some parents. Another factor was tension between groups of students from different neighborhoods‚ one parent said. “They’re fighting outside in the parking lot where the school buses are‚” one concerned parent told Fox 5. “Like‚ where’s leadership? Where’s security?” It is not yet clear whether any students were injured in the fights. Some parents blamed the fights on the absence of the school’s principal‚ Dr. Gorman Brown‚ who was placed on administrative leave in October for undisclosed reasons. Brown was reinstated on Wednesday and will likely return after Christmas break‚ according to the executive director of the Prince George’s County principals union. School discipline has been a mounting concern at schools across the country since students returned to in-person learning after the COVID pandemic.

This Rousing Game Of Husky Hide-And-Seek Steps It Up A Notch When Mom Dresses Like A Tree!

Hiding from a dog isn’t always easy. They have a tremendous ability to smell‚ and we all have a unique scent to them. It was a surprise to this couple when their husky Kakoa again forgot how to use his nose. The scene opens with Mom dressed as a sappy-looking fake Christmas tree. She stages herself in a conspicuous location in a family room. Let the game of husky hide-and-seek begin! Image from YouTube. Once Mom is in position‚ Dad opens the back door to let the eager contestant in. You can see Kakoa waiting with anticipation as Dad reaches for the sliding door. With a quick command of “Find Mom‚” the game is afoot! You might recognize Kakoa and this game from other videos. Mom has dressed as a realistic-looking bush‚ and once they even hid Sky (their other husky) for viewers to find! Image from YouTube. Kakoa takes off running in search of his elusive prey. He races through the house into the family room. Then he quickly darts right past Mom to check out the hallway. He returns and passes Mom again as he refocuses on the family room. Image from YouTube. Kakoa raced through the dining room‚ took a quick peek into the kitchen‚ then raced into the living room. A quick jump onto the sofa. Nope‚ not here either. Image from YouTube. Another trip around the living room. Wait‚ let’s check in the planter. Hmmmm… where could she be? Image from YouTube. After checking every possible location in the house‚ Kakoa seemed to notice something new. What’s in this bag? Oh boy‚ oh boy‚ oh boy! That’s mommy’s foot! MOMMY! I FOUND YOU! Image from YouTube. The Nose Knows When The Game Is Husky Hide-And-Seek Kakoa got plenty of lubbings and scritches‚ and there was a lot of tail-wagging going on when this game of husky hide-and-seek ended. Kakoa was definitely excited to “win” the game. We’re unsure what the prize was‚ but it probably involved treats. Huskies can be highly vocal‚ easily excitable‚ and they even make great nannies if you have kids. For every ounce of their weight‚ they deliver equal amounts of joy‚ happiness‚ and outright hilarity to liven up your life. You can watch the entire video below. Try to count the number of times Kakoa zips right past Mom without even a glance (we tried and couldn’t keep track).
