OnePlus 12 specs will include a 5‚400mAh battery and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

New information regarding the official OnePlus 12 specs has revealed some intriguing details about the upcoming flagship device from OnePlus. According to reports from PhoneArena and others‚ the OnePlus 12 will include a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3‚ as well as a massive 5‚400 mAh battery. OnePlus has spent the past few weeks teasing various parts of the upcoming device‚ including sharing photos from its improved camera system‚ including Sony's dual-layer transistor pixel technology in a 50MP sensor. There will also be some AI magic going on behind the scenes‚ which should help the Hasselblad lenses stand out even more against other flagship cameras on the market right now. OnePlus has been doing some really amazing things with its smartphone lineup. Image source: Christian de Looper for BGR Based on current samples and reports‚ the OnePlus 12 camera specs will include a 23mm wide lens with a f/1.6 aperture‚ as well as an OmniVision OV64B 64MP telephoto lens sensor‚ which will sit underneath a periscope lens system with support for up to 3x optical zoom. The ultrawide will sport a Sony IMX581 sensor with an f/2.2 aperture lens and 14mm focal length‚ Phone Arena says. The OnePlus 12 will also reportedly feature a 6.82-inch OLED display capable of 1-120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4‚500 nits. However‚ this information has not been confirmed by OnePlus‚ so it's possible it could be incorrect. If it is correct‚ though‚ that will make the OnePlus 12 one of the brightest displays on a smartphone right now. Combining all of this with the 5‚400mAh battery will undoubtedly make the OnePlus 12 a solid flagship capable of standing up as a rival to the Galaxy S24 Ultra and whatever other flagship devices launch next year. We're expecting to see some more official information about the OnePlus 12 specs in the coming months‚ with a full reveal slated for sometime in January. Reports have also indicated that the OnePlus 12 will support up to 24GB of RAM and will include a vapor cooling system to help increase the efficiency of the embedded Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Windows 11 23H2 update might be slowing your computer down – here’s how to fix it

Windows 11 23H2 update might be slowing your computer down – here’s how to fix it

Windows 11's 23H2 update has introduced a slew of new features and fixes to the Microsoft-built operating system. While the launch of Copilot's preview is exciting‚ many users have reported less than stellar performance after installing the 23H2 update. If you've encountered this same issue‚ Microsoft has a fix. But it's a little complicated. While I haven't personally noticed any huge changes in the performance of my PC since updating to the 23H2 update‚ other users have taken to the official Microsoft forums to complain about the issue‚ with one noting that his 2020 HP Pavilion laptop began to stutter and slog through games after updating. Luckily‚ Microsoft shared a workaround with another user who complained and shared the fix on Reddit. However‚ the company hasn't said exactly why the Windows 11 23H2 update affects performance just yet. If you're one of the unlucky users encountering a loss of performance since updating‚ follow these steps to see if they resolve the issue. The Windows 11 23H2 update enables Copilot‚ Microsoft's GPT-powered AI companion. Image source: Microsoft First‚ reset Microsoft Defender by entering the following commands in Powershell: Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage Restart your PC and enable CPU Virtualization in your computer's BIOS settings. The exact steps for this will differ depending on your motherboard and CPU‚ so you will need to Google instructions for that if you don't already know how to do it. Restart Windows again and then ensure Memory Integrity is enabled under Core Isolation in Windows settings. Microsoft says this will enable Virtualization Security and will resolve any Windows 11 23H2 update performance issues. According to the user that shared the fix‚ this made their computer run just as well as it did before the update. It's a bit disappointing to have to jump through a bunch of hoops like this just to get your performance back to where it was. I'm not sure what Microsoft did to cause the performance issues‚ but it definitely seems related to something that changed behind the scenes with the 23H2 update‚ perhaps something having to do with the features that enable Copilot to work directly in Windows. Either way‚ this fix could resolve the issues for you if you're running into performance trouble‚ so give them a try if you're comfortable making changes like this to your PC.
