A UFC champ posted surveillance video of himself confronting a man he believed to be a car thief but who was allegedly trying to escape after assaulting a woman in Las Vegas‚ Nevada. Sean Strickland posted video of the altercation to his official Instagram account. The video appeared to show a man stumbling into a home's front driveway and getting down on a knee between two vehicles. The next scene shows Strickland stomping out and pointing his gun at the suspect. A third scene shows Strickland apparently striking the man and knocking him down as he tried to walk away. "Sit the f*** down!" he said to the man. The 32-year-old fighter added what he believed to be the motivation for the man appearing in his driveway. "Here's what I know‚" wrote Strickland on the post. "The guy was drunk stomping out a girl‚ a security guard seen it. He jumped in his car and drove off. Security followed him‚ hit a curb‚ completely shredded his tire. Drove on the rim for awhile then jumped out and tried to hide at my house." He added that the man was allegedly arrested and posted a photograph of the rim of the car the man allegedly drove when he fled to Strickland's neighborhood. — (@) "Had to turn himself into police in the morning‚" he added. Strickland is a middleweight UFC champion who won his title at UFC 293 after defeating Israel Adesanya via decision in September. He is scheduled to defend his title against challenger Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 297 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto in January.
