Tucker Carlson's interview with Vladimir Putin sent CNN host Chris Wallace into the ceiling. On his Saturday show‚ he said calling Tucker a useful idiot was an insult to useful idiots. He also called him an "eager puppy."  This is an interesting tactic for Chris Wallace‚ since in 2017‚ he publicly criticized Fox News’s opinion hosts for bashing the media as unprofessional. See‚ it’s okay for Wallace to say someone’s not a journalist‚ they’re an eager puppy. But Tucker should never say that about oh‚ say‚ Brian Williams or Don Lemon. This is also an interesting tack since it was his own father Mike Wallace who went to meet with Ayatollah Khomeini in his earliest days as the dictator of Iran‚ and American hostage-taker back in 1979. He's remembered for describing the view of Egyptian leader Anwar Sadat: "He called you‚ forgive me‚ Imam -- his words‚ not mine -- 'a lunatic.'" Was Chris Wallace proud of that? Or was Daddy an eager puppy? A social media personality sets up his own sting operations in order to help identify and arrest alleged online predators. In his latest action‚ he set up a meeting with a man while pretending to be an underage boy‚ and then helped the police take him down in Long Beach‚ California. KTLA-TV interviewed the man who is known as "Black Biden" on social media platforms‚ including TikTok and Instagram. The video shows police confront the target‚ who tried to run away before they chased him down and apprehended him outside of a Carl's Jr. fast food restaurant. He was identified as 41-year-old Cody Lane Oreiro of Hawthorne and was charged with arranging a meeting with a minor for lewd purposes and resisting a police officer. The activist said that the laws aren't strict enough to catch the predators. “I have caught over 156 guys who have tried to come out to harm kids‚” he told KTLA. “And it’s only been a year. Many convictions‚ but the laws are just still not strict enough for these guys.”He said that Oreiro believed he was meeting a 15-year-old boy at the Carl's Jr. In the video‚ the activist is wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. At one point in the video‚ he yelled to Oreiro‚ "You ain't getting away‚ homeboy!" Through the use of online social media accounts‚ the activist says that he interacts with suspected predators and then tells them that he's actually underage. If they agree to meet up‚ he records the interactions and contacts police. In another video obtained by KTLA‚ he chased down a man he claims was trying to meet a 14-year-old girl for sex. KTLA reported that many people in the community recognized him during their interview and would come over to offer their gratitude and support for "Black Biden." Former President Donald Trump has endorsed his daughter-in-law Lara Trump for the role of Republican National Committee co-chair.Trump‚ who appears poised to easily lock down the 2024 GOP presidential nod‚ also endorsed North Carolina Republican Party chairman Michael Whatley‚ who is also general counsel for the RNC‚ to become its "next leader." Pennsylvania police said that two parents abused and starved their 6-year-old daughter while keeping her locked up in a dog crate. On Tuesday‚ state police were called to the home of 37-year-old Jacob W. Weight and 33-year-old Mimi Ann Frost in Brownsville on a report of an unresponsive child. Officers said that the house was full of dog feces‚ garbage‚ and urine. Other children in the home told police that the parents had kept the 6-year-old in a dog crate and hit her with a broom at least once. Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele said that an investigation concluded that the child had been "tortured." The criminal complaint said the child was malnourished and had abrasions on her body as well as open sores. A local children's hospital reported that she had a "host of medical and dental issues" and "hadn't had pediatric care for years." The child allegedly told a therapist that she was forced to sleep in the dog crate every night and also made to eat dog food. “One of the worst parts about it is there were five other children in the house and 10 dogs and none of them were malnourished‚" said Aubele to WTAE-TV. "The 6-year-old child was left in this cage naked without food. She would be punished if she was able to escape that cage to go get food. And to make matters worse‚ there's evidence that at least a few of these children may have participated in the abuse with the parents‚" he continued. "It does seem like they were they were raised with this notion that this that this girl was that she deserved it‚ which is horrific in itself‚" Aubele added. He said that the girl was lucky to be alive. "This girl's been through a lot. And it's only by the grace of God that she was able to survive the torture that she endured‚" Aubele concluded.Weight and Frost are facing numerous charges‚ including unlawful restraint of a minor‚ aggravated assault‚ and child neglect.
