Nebraska Teen Slits Son's Throat‚ Reddit User Blames Lack of Abortion Access

The left will really say or do anything to support a woman’s “right” to murder her kid.  Earlier this month‚ a Nebraska teenager was arrested and has been charged with murder after slitting her newborn baby’s throat and stabbing him in the chest. Now‚ a reddit user is claiming she killed her son because she wasn’t able to get an abortion.  On November 6‚ police responded to a call from the girl’s home. When they arrived‚ the girl’s father told officers “that it was too late‚” according to Star Herald‚ a local Nebraska news outlet.  When officers entered the bedroom of the crime scene‚ they found the teen by the door and her mother sobbing while holding the infant. An officer grabbed the infant to administer first aid and noticed “that the infant’s throat had been cut through the windpipe and that the infant had been stabbed several times on the left side of the chest‚" per reports. The teen reportedly had asked her mother to go to the store to purchase pads‚ saying she was experiencing a “heavy flow” period. “Heavy flow” is one way to describe giving birth. When the mother returned‚ she found a large amount of blood on the floor and wall of the teen’s bedroom and said that the teen admitted having killed the baby with a kitchen knife. The father of the teen located his deceased grandson in a closet.  The girl underwent a surgery at a nearby hospital and on Thursday was arraigned on charges. She’s being held without bond.  While you and I can see that this is clearly a case of a messed up teen who blatantly and brutally murdered her living child‚ at least one idiot attempted to accuse pro-life laws of being the reason for this tragedy.  “I feel bad for her‚” a user commented via a reddit post. “I doubt she was offered abortion and probably had to listen to her whole life to ‘abortion is murder’ nonsense. And then after going through horrific traumatizing agony her reward was a screaming lump of meat driving her into panic and anxiety.” Related: Ohio Passes Pro-Abortion Law‚ Pro-Lifers Respond to ‘Tragic’ News “An abortion would have prevented this‚” the user wrote before ending with “Legalize abortion‚ normalize abortion‚ ‘Pro-life’ rhetoric is murder.” Man oh man‚ I didn’t know that there could be someone this idiotic on the internet.  The teen needs psychological help - and a lot of it - but abortion wouldn’t have stopped the murder of the innocent little baby. Abortion would have taken the life of the innocent soul‚ just as the teenager did. Some Twitter users shared my flabbergasted sentiment in their comments on a screenshot of the reddit post.  “If it needs to be normalized that means it isn’t normal‚” one wrote. Others wrote what the reddit user’s thought process may have been by sarcastically writing‚ “Baby murder would have prevented this baby murder!" Another commented similarly by saying‚ “She was forced to kill her baby because Republicans wouldn't let her kill her baby...this actually makes sense to them.” These users are spot on. The girl is a murderer and prison is exactly where she belongs. Abortion would have just made her a murderer earlier. Loose abortion restrictions aren’t going to do anything in this world except normalize the murder of innocent babies.  Follow us on Twitter/X: Being on the ground at the March for Israel rally was a peaceful reminder of the reality of this conflict pic.twitter.com/r9lTxxtZMz — MRCTV (@mrctv) November 16‚ 2023

ABC's Karl Admits He Wrote Anti-Trump Book To Influence 2024 Election

ABC chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl took his book tour to CBS and Thursday’s edition of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert because if you are a liberal media personality with an anti-Trump book to sell that is simply what you do. During the interview‚ Karl told Colbert that he wrote the book to preempt arguments from the Trump Campaign that a second Trump term is desirable because of his first term record on the economy and foreign policy. Against the backdrop of January 6‚ Colbert wondered‚ “Why do you think he has such a lasting grip on a party that had many opportunities to end the specter of him‚ whether it had been either impeachment or just if Kevin McCarthy hadn't gone down there and kissed the ring.”     After noting that at one point Trump actually trailed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the polls‚ Karl theorized‚ “There's anxiety in the country. People have economic anxiety. There’s discontent with Joe Biden and I think there's some superficially-- a sense like “look‚ if only we can only go back to four years ago‚ the world was relatively at peace. Inflation was low.” Worried that such thinking may lead people back to Trump‚ Karl continued‚ “I think there is some of that and that's why I wrote this book because if people are going to go into this next election thinking about that‚ they also need to be thinking not just about what Trump was‚ but what he is now in what he is proposing and planning to do‚ what a second Trump Administration would look like and I don't think people have come to terms with that at all.” According to Karl‚ what Trump is “proposing and planning” is a retribution campaign that sounds like it is coming out of the “Third Reich.” Such rhetoric and admissions from one of ABC’s top reporters raise obvious questions about the network’s ability to cover the upcoming election should Trump clinch the nomination. Here is a transcript for the November 16-taped show: CBS The Late Show with Stephen Colbert 11/17/2023 12:11 AM ET STEPHEN COLBERT: Why do you think he has such a lasting grip on a party that had many opportunities to end the specter of him‚ whether it had been either impeachment or just if Kevin McCarthy hadn't gone down there and kissed the ring.  JONATHAN KARL: Yeah‚ I mean there’s a lot that. First of all‚ it's important to remember‚ less than a year ago he was trailing Ron DeSantis in polls. In one Wall Street Journal poll and somewhere by 20 points or so.  COLBERT: It was flipped‚ just a year ago. KARL: Yes. Yes‚ so it wasn’t a total—but‚ I think part of what's happened is people look back. There's anxiety in the country. People have economic anxiety. There’s discontent with Joe Biden and I think there's some superficially-- a sense like “look‚ if only we can only go back to four years ago‚ the world was relatively at peace. Inflation was low. Everything was--" I think there is some of that and that's why I wrote this book because if people are going to go into this next election thinking about that‚ they also need to be thinking not just about what Trump was‚ but what he is now in what he is proposing and planning to do‚ what a second Trump Administration would look like and I don't think people have come to terms with that at all.

Anti-Israel TILT: PBS Turns to Al-Jazeera Veteran to Promote‚ Repeat Hezbollah-Linked Pundit

On Tuesday’s edition of the PBS News Hour‚ “special correspondent” Simona Foltyn questioned Gen. Abbas Ibrahim‚ a former Lebanese intelligence official with close ties to Hezbollah‚ the Iranian-backed militant group designated as a terrorist group by the United States. Foltyn worked for the virulently anti-Israel outlet Arab news network Al-Jazeera English from 2019 to 2021 (on the Iraq beat)‚ and her questions to Ibrahim would no doubt be endorsed by her previous employers. Host Geoff Bennett: Much of the focus of this latest Israel-Hamas war is focused on Gaza and the brutal fighting there. But a larger‚ more threatening force sits across Israel's northern border‚ Lebanese Hezbollah. Special correspondent Simona Foltyn recently sat down with a former top Lebanese intelligence official who not only knows the region well‚ but is deeply involved in the negotiations over the hostages taken by Hamas. Gen. Ibrahim’s Hezbolllah ties were ignored. Simona Foltyn: Southern Lebanon and Northern Israel have seen daily bombardments and skirmishes as the Israeli army and the Lebanese paramilitary group Hezbollah exchange fire across the border. It threatens to become a major second front in the Israel-Hamas conflict. Major General Abbas Ibrahim was until recently the head of general security in Lebanon….he's now once again involved in negotiating an exchange of hostages taken by Hamas in return for Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails. Ibrahim called “for a political solution‚” including a hostage/prisoner exchange between Hamas and Israel. Then Foltyn used her taxpayer-funded perch at PBS to draw out the perspective of Hezbollah‚ even taking up Ibrahim’s argument about Western “double standards” about carnage in the Hamas-Israel war. Foltyn: Is there a red line for Hezbollah at which point they might be forced to escalate things further? Ibrahim: If Hezbollah‚ as I believe‚ think that Hamas become in a weakened position‚ I believe that they will interfere‚ or at least they will go up with their retaliation. Foltyn: Would that be if Hamas specifically asks for support or if Hezbollah fears that Hamas might be destroyed? Foltyn sounded like a typical European journalist with her (false) hints that the West is showing “unconditional support for Israel‚” agreeing with Ibrahim’s “double standard” comment. Foltyn: We have seen widespread‚ some would even say unconditional‚ support for Israel. Some Western nations have even opposed a cease-fire‚ despite the mounting death toll in Gaza. How is this perceived in Lebanon and the Arab world? Ibrahim: Look‚ Simona‚ I tell the international community and the United States‚ the policy that you're following in Gaza or in Palestine‚ using the double standard‚ will not work for your interests. It's working against your interests. We learn from the America the values. We learn about democracy. I graduated from American schools‚ military school. I learn a lot. I cannot find what I believe in‚ what I learn from the America on the real ground now. We need to be balanced‚ or at least not to have a double standard dealing with issues. Foltyn actually repeated Ibrahim’s own perspective in a brief cutaway segment from the interview. Foltyn: A double standard specifically when it comes to condemning the killings of civilians. While the United States and many Western nations were quick to denounce Hamas' brutal attack on October 7‚ their criticism of Israel's bombing campaign in Gaza has been much more muted. One good reason for the “double standard” is that the October 6 terrorist attack on Israeli civilians‚ including rape and torture and hostage-taking -- and the counterattack against Hamas in Gaza -- are two utterly different things. This pro-Palestinian bias was brought to you in part by Raymond James financial advisors. A transcript is available‚ click “Expand.” PBS News Hour 11/14/23 7:36:03 p.m. (ET) Geoff Bennett: Much of the focus of this latest Israel-Hamas war is focused on Gaza and the brutal fighting there. Simona Foltyn: Southern Lebanon and Northern Israel have seen daily bombardments and skirmishes as the Israeli army and the Lebanese paramilitary group Hezbollah exchange fire across the border. It threatens to become a major second front in the Israel-Hamas conflict. Major General Abbas Ibrahim was until recently the head of general security in Lebanon. Ibrahim helped mediate last year's landmark maritime border deal between Israel and Lebanon‚ and he's now once again involved in negotiating an exchange of hostages taken by Hamas in return for Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails. Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim‚ Former Head of General Security‚ Lebanon: It's time for a political solution. So we have to start with exchanging prisoners. This way‚ it's going to calm down the situation a little bit. Then we will start with the political solution. Simona Foltyn: According to Hamas‚ around 50 of the 240 hostages taken into Gaza have already been killed amid Israeli bombardment. At a recent press conference in Beirut‚ Hamas officials called for a cease-fire to organize a prisoner exchange. So‚ was this prisoner swap‚ do you think that was the main goal behind the attack on October 7? Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim: One of the main reason for this attack is to have their prisoners out of the jail. There are some people who spent 30 to 40 years in the prison‚ and the Israelis still refuse to release them. Simona Foltyn: Around 5‚000 Palestinians are being held in Israeli jails‚ including 33 women and 170 minors‚ while more than 1‚200 are placed under administrative detention. Is it just about women and children that are held in Israeli prisons? Or is it also about Hamas fighters? Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim: Yes‚ I believe — no. I believe‚ no‚ it's not about fighters. From Hamas side‚ they are asking for women and children. So people are working on a humanitarian pause‚ because they want to put a mechanism for this exchanging prisoners. Simona Foltyn: But the Israeli government has rejected proposals for a cease-fire and has continued its air and ground assault on Gaza. The stated military objective of Israel in this war is to eradicate Hamas‚ to remove it from power in Gaza. Do you think that this is achievable? Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim: The core of Hamas as a military group is still very strong. They are not going to be eliminated. I want the world to know that this is what happened in 2006 in the south of Lebanon‚ the same thing. The Israeli side that‚ we are going to eliminate Hezbollah. Look‚ where is Hezbollah now? We are in 2023‚ 17 years past‚ and Hezbollah becomes a regional power. Simona Foltyn: In Southern Lebanon‚ we have seen a steady rise in tit for tat attacks between Israel and Hezbollah. What do you think is the risk that these tit for tat attacks might escalate into a wider conflict? Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim: I believe‚ in this case‚ Hezbollah is still reasonable. I don't believe that Hezbollah has the intent to escalate. No‚ I believe that what's going on in the region and in the world is in the Israeli's government hand. I believe that Netanyahu wants the world to be larger. He wants — since he has this support‚ international support‚ he feels that this is the right moment‚ historical moment for him to appear as a hero and to get rid or eliminate Hezbollah and Hamas at the same time. If Israel continues this way‚ I believe that the region will be in a war. All the front around Israel will attack Israel. So we have to stop it. Simona Foltyn: Is there a red line for Hezbollah at which point they might be forced to escalate things further? Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim: If Hezbollah‚ as I believe‚ think that Hamas become in a weakened position‚ I believe that they will interfere‚ or at least they will go up with their retaliation. Simona Foltyn: Would that be if Hamas specifically asks for support or if Hezbollah fears that Hamas might be destroyed? Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim: No‚ I believe they ask for support. This is the condition. But I can tell you‚ after my meeting and my connection‚ the Hamas military wing is still in a good shape. The civilians are paying the price. Simona Foltyn: We have seen widespread‚ some would even say unconditional‚ support for Israel. Some Western nations have even opposed a cease-fire‚ despite the mounting death toll in Gaza. How is this perceived in Lebanon and the Arab world? Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim: Look‚ Simona‚ I tell the international community and the United States‚ the policy that you're following in Gaza or in Palestine‚ using the double standard‚ will not work for your interests. While the United States and many Western nations were quick to denounce Hamas' brutal attack on October 7‚ their criticism of Israel's bombing campaign in Gaza has been much more muted. Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim: I'm not saying that Israel has to stop against Hamas. It's a war. It's a war. But Hamas' military wing‚ they have to assume the responsibility‚ Hamas‚ but what about the civilian? Now what's going on is a revenge‚ revenge on the civilian. We want the cease-fire to take place. We have to stop this massacre. Simona Foltyn: What is your message to the international community and the United States specifically with regard to how this conflict should be ended? Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim: The Israeli‚ the war‚ try to solve the problem‚ the Palestinian problem‚ without having the Palestinians on the table. They want normalization with the Arab country. And every time‚ they try to convince us‚ it's a huge step toward peace. Which peace? You have a problem with the Palestinians. Go solve your problem with the people‚ not with their neighbors. It will not work. We have to go for a political solution now. If the two states will not work‚ we can go for one-state solution‚ for any solution. Without giving the Palestinians their right or a part of their right‚ the region will not be stable. Simona Foltyn: General Abbas Ibrahim‚ thank you for speaking with the PBS NewsHour. Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim: Thank you. Thank you very much.

Christian leader in critical condition after being shot in head preaching: 'People are following darkness instead of light'

A beloved religious leader was shot in the head Wednesday night while preaching the gospel in Glendale‚ Arizona. Hans Schmidt‚ a young father and outreach director for the nondenominational Victory Chapel First Phoenix‚ was standing at the northwest corner of 51st and Peoria avenues with his megaphone‚ quoting scripture and preaching to passersby ahead of an evening service. Around 6 p.m.‚ someone evidently pulled a gun on him‚ reported AZFamily. It's unclear whether the shooter attempted the apparent assassination on foot or from a car. KNXV-TV indicated police initially were dispatched to a hospital following reports that someone had been assaulted‚ but they soon discovered the victim had been shot. The Victory Chapel revealed in a statement Thursday‚ "Hans was taken to the ER where they discovered he had been shot after conducting a CT scan. He began seizing and was intubated. There has been some movement; however‚ physicians are uncertain how much is voluntary and began draining fluid from his brain. He remains in critical condition‚ please continue praying." Zulya Schmidt‚ the victim's wife‚ noted in a Meta post‚ "Believing God has the final say. I love you so much babe." Henry Branch‚ a nearby resident‚ said‚ "Who knows why someone would want to take it out on a preacher like that because he's speaking the gospel and good news to everybody. He's out to help the community." KSAZ-TV indicated that following the shooting‚ police told nearby business owners to clear out‚ including the titular owner of Jesse James Comics. "It's something where they preach so much on this corner‚ and it's such a congested area‚" said James. "I always thought they might get hit by a car. I didn't know they would be shot." Paul Sanchez works nearby and recalled occasionally seeing people drive by‚ cursing and screaming at Schmidt as he preached. However‚ Sanchez said the preacher never responded with hostility. "There was a slurry of everything‚ really. I mean‚ hateful comments‚ people yelling at him‚ 'Just get off the street.' All sorts of mean things‚" Sanchez told AZFamily. Larry Dettman‚ a congregant who learned during a church service Wednesday night from Pastor Gary Marsh what had befallen Schmidt‚ said‚ "Out of nowhere‚ how does this happen? You know‚ there's some evil people in this world that have got a bunch of human junk in their life and they take it out on somebody else." "People are following darkness instead of light‚" continued Dettman. As of Thursday‚ police were still investigating and had not yet arrested a suspect. 'I will move': Barbra Streisand claims yet again she will leave the United States if Donald Trump is elected

Singer Barbra Streisand claimed that she will leave the United States if Donald Trump becomes president‚ a claim she also made prior to Trump's win in 2016. The trend of celebrities saying they would flee the country if Trump becomes president circled back around when Streisand appeared on a recent episode of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."Colbert asked the 81-year-old what she thinks of the current political climate‚ to which she replied‚ "I like Biden. I think he has done a good job. I think he is compassionate‚ smart‚ supports the right things."The host then asked about a possible second term of a Trump administration‚ causing the singer to plainly reply‚ "I will move.""I can't live in this country if he became president." Streisand then explained that she would move across the pond. "Probably to England. I like England."Of course‚ this was not where Streisand said she would move to the first time she made the tired claim. In August 2016‚ Streisand spoke to the Australian version of "60 Minutes‚" where she said Trump "has no facts" before saying she would leave the United States."I don’t know‚ I can’t believe it. I’m either coming to your country‚ if you’ll let me in‚ or Canada‚" she said‚ according to The Hill."I worry. I don’t take anything for granted. I want Hillary Clinton to be president of the United States‚" she added.Streisand was part of a long list of notable characters who made similar claims leading up to the 2016 election‚ including two then-hosts of "The View‚" Whoopi Goldberg and Raven-Symone."I'm going to move to Canada with my entire family. I already have my ticket‚" Raven-Symone said‚ while Goldberg offered immediate impeachment."Maybe it's time for me to move. ... We can kick his ass out. There is such a thing called impeachment‚" she said‚ according to the Hollywood Reporter.Other notable celebrities who feigned a plan to leave the United States included Miley Cyrus‚ who said that her heart was "broken into a 100‚000 pieces.""Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston said‚ "Absolutely‚ I would definitely move." Then he added that "it’s not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won’t."The usual anti-Trump comedians such as Lena Dunham‚ Amy Schumer‚ Chelsea Handler‚ and more all piled on with the empty claim at the time‚ as well.During her interview with Colbert‚ Streisand also touted the new Streisand Center at UCLA. "I have a center at UCLA now that is going to study and is starting to study the dynamics of power between men and women‚" she explained.Other fields of research at the center include "Truth in the Public Sphere" and the "Impact of Climate Change."Like Blaze News?
