MUSLIM AMERICAN patriot‚ Asra Nomani‚ gives far-left America-hating actress‚ Susan Sarandon‚ a powerful ‘taste’ of reality for weaponizing Muslims at anti-Israel rally

Last Friday‚ Sarandon joined pro-Palestinian protesters at a demonstration in New York City. She was captured chanting‚ “from the river to the sea‚ Palestine will be free‚” a Hamas rallying cry that celebrates the extermination of Israel. “Let me give you ‘a taste’ of what it ‘feels like’ to be a Muslim in America‚” Asra […]

Major Win in a Federal Appeals Court on Redistricting

A federal appeals court on Monday reversed precedent by ruling that only the federal government has the power to bring lawsuits alleging voter discrimination under the Voting Rights Act. This has the far-left ACLU and allies crying about the “travesty to democracy.” This decision will make it significantly harder to contest the results of elections […] The post Major Win in a Federal Appeals Court on Redistricting appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Biden Delays Shipment Of 4‚500 M-16 Rifles To Israel Because Of Right-Wing Israeli Politician: Report

President Joe Biden’s administration has reportedly delayed sending thousands of M-16 rifles to Israel because it is angered that Itamar Ben Gvir‚ the Minister of National Security of Israel‚ has turned the distribution of the weapons to Israeli citizens into events that generate significant media attention. Ben Gvir‚ a right-wing nationalist‚ has been distributing weapons to civilian security squads in towns following Hamas’ unprecedented terrorist attack on October 7 when thousands of terrorists stormed into Israel and massacred entire towns of unarmed civilians. The Biden administration was reportedly furious that Ben Gvir posted photographs on his social media accounts of the weapons being distributed to Israeli civilians‚ The Times of Israel reported. Apparently wanting to show the world that Israel is arming its citizens to stop Islamic terrorist attacks is offensive to the Biden administration. ממשיכים לחמש את ישראל. pic.twitter.com/SdeIGT7O3P — איתמר בן גביר (@itamarbengvir) November 15‚ 2023 The administration also was apparently worried that Ben Gvir could arm Israeli citizens living in Judea and Samaria as Islamic terror attacks have been rapidly escalating in the area. CHECK OUT THE DAILY WIRE BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING GUIDE The U.S. is now reportedly demanding that the weapons be distributed by the IDF or police and that they cannot be distributed to individuals beyond the Green Line. Israel is also reportedly concerned that a larger shipment of 15‚000 rifles ordered from the U.S. could also be placed on hold. Approximately 7‚000 rifles have been distributed thus far since October 7. The news comes as Hamas terrorist leaders have continued to threaten a repeat of the October 7 attacks and to incite Muslims to launch attacks against Israel from Judea and Samaria. GET 50% OFF DAILYWIRE+ ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS “Telegram channels identified with Hamas’ student organization‚ the Islamic Bloc‚ and especially with its branches in the West Bank‚ are especially active in spreading threats and incitement of this kind‚” the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) reported. “In a November 16 post on its Telegram channel‚ for example‚ the Islamic Bloc urged the people of the West Bank to emulate the October 7 attack by storming Israeli localities within their reach. Other posts on this channel likewise incite terrorism and provide operational advice on carrying out effective attacks.”

Opting out: 4 alternative movements to redefine Black Friday

Right now‚ the Black Friday shopping festivities are undoubtedly engulfing our screens and storefronts. It’s easy for consumerism to take center stage‚ but nonetheless‚ amid the consumption frenzy‚ emergent movements provide respite for people wanting a break from the buying frenzy. Here are four refreshing alternatives‚ steering away from shopping carts to explore innovative ways to spend this eventful day. 1. Participate in the #OptOutside movement The #OptOutside movement‚ launched by REI in 2015‚ urges people to avoid shopping in favor of spending time outside. REI’s audacious decision to close its doors on Black Friday to encourage staff to enjoy nature caused a ripple effect. Millions of people opted for hiking trails instead of store aisles‚ giving the movement a boost. Explore local state and national parks that offer cost waivers or special events to participate in nature’s peacefulness. 2. Join a Buy Nothing group “Buy Nothing Day‚” which originated as an anti-consumerism protest‚ has evolved into a bigger notion that extends beyond boycotting Black Friday. The Buy Nothing Project encourages community-centered groups that prioritize sharing and gifting. This movement promotes a 24-hour buying halt. Now‚ millions of people are part of local giveaway groups on Facebook or involve themselves in the movement through specialized apps‚ emphasizing communal exchanges above materialism. 3. Celebrate Native American Heritage Month Following Thanksgiving‚ Native American Heritage Day appears on some calendars amid the shopping rush. While it is intended to highlight indigenous accomplishments‚ its timing in conjunction with Black Friday has drawn criticism. For reflection‚ acknowledgment‚ and education‚ embrace Native American Heritage Month. Start by recognizing Indigenous lands‚ seeking local events‚ and delving into literature or podcasts—a tribute beyond shopping excess. 4. Seek enlightenment instead of sales For those drawn to Black Friday’s allure‚ consider visiting your public library. Amid the shopping frenzy‚ public institutions provide intellectual refuge. Take advantage of the opportunity to learn something new‚ and enrich your mind and imagination with free resources. From NASA’s revelations on black holes to museums hosting educational events and discounted admissions‚ this day can become a quest for enlightenment. As Black Friday floods our consumer psyche‚ these alternatives beckon‚ urging us to venture beyond commercialism. Each program promotes a distinct experience‚ such as communing with nature‚ embracing community spirit‚ or respecting heritage—a break from the retail rush toward a more full and meaningful day.The post Opting out: 4 alternative movements to redefine Black Friday first appeared on The Optimist Daily: Making Solutions the News.

Advancements in AI improve prognosis and treatment of heart attacks

A new study conducted by the University of Oxford finds that artificial intelligence (AI) has the capacity to predict an individual’s risk of having a heart attack up to a decade in advance. This innovation not only has the potential to save thousands of lives‚ but it also has the potential to alter treatment techniques for nearly half of the patients. AI’s life-saving precision revolutionizes diagnosis The British Heart Foundation (BHF)-funded study aims to improve the accuracy of cardiac CT scans‚ which are critical in diagnosing artery blockages or narrowing. According to Prof Charalambos Antoniades‚ chair of cardiovascular medicine at BHF‚ “our study found that some patients…are at high risk of having a heart attack…even in the absence of any sign of disease in their heart arteries.” With around 350‚000 CT scans performed in the UK each year‚ current procedures frequently miss minor‚ undetected narrowings‚ adding to heart attack mortality. Researchers were able to effectively predict heart attack risks after analyzing data from over 40‚000 patients and using AI technology over a 2.7-year follow-up period. AI’s impact on patient care Over an eight-year period‚ the AI technology was evaluated on an additional 3‚393 patients and displayed outstanding accuracy in predicting heart attack risks. Notably‚ providing AI-generated risk assessments to medical experts resulted in 45 percent of patients’ treatment regimens being changed‚ highlighting the tool’s potential to improve patient care. The role of AI in the healthcare evolution Antoniades sees widespread use of this AI technology in the NHS‚ with the goal of preventing a significant number of unnecessary heart attack-related mortality in the UK each year. The study’s findings showed an important insight: while severe artery constriction increased the chance of a heart attack‚ an equally worrisome percentage of patients with no obvious narrowings experienced heart attacks‚ sometimes fatally. Prof Sir Nilesh Samani‚ BHF’s medical director‚ applauds the study for demonstrating AI’s critical role in identifying those at high risk of future heart attacks. The ramifications of the study not only promise a paradigm shift in cardiac care but also demonstrate AI’s transformative potential in changing predictive healthcare. The advancement in AI-driven heart attack prediction not only represents a monumental leap in medical technology but also heralds a future in which proactive intervention and precision-driven treatment could potentially save thousands of lives‚ redefining the landscape of cardiac healthcare. The post Advancements in AI improve prognosis and treatment of heart attacks first appeared on The Optimist Daily: Making Solutions the News.

A Prayer for Gathering When Relational Tension Is High - Your Daily Prayer - November 22

I recently called one of my siblings to ask about holiday gathering plans. I wanted to know if he’d be okay with having the thanksgiving meal at our house this year. The conversation was going great until we began to go over the guest list.
