Leftwing Activist Network Distributes Riot Gear To Los Angeles Anti-ICE Agitators

A network of leftwing agitators is distributing helmets, respirators, and other gear that appears intended for use in stand-offs with law enforcement to anti-ICE protesters on the “front lines” of the Los Angeles riots, a Daily Wire investigation has found. The revelation follows the FBI’s arrest of a leftist who is believed to have handed out gas masks to anti-ICE rioters in an apparent attempt to neutralize the police’s tear gas and pepper spray. Alejandro Theodoro Ornella was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Civil Disorder, U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli announced Thursday. The Daily Wire can now report he is not the only person involved in a scheme to furnish agitators with gear. One leftwing activist boasted on Instagram that she was able to “distribute over 100 pairs of work gloves, 50 helmets, and 500 masks at LA City Hall today!” adding that she also distributed “fire blankets, respirators, ponchos, and earplugs.” Screenshot The woman, who goes by the username “Shaaaandraaaaahhh” on the social media platform, assured her audience in her post over the weekend that “I will restock and organize a pick-up date and time so that those of you on the FRONT LINES can get exactly what you need.” She also posted a video of a shopping cart full of items that would be distributed to agitators, including what appear to be respirators. Then in the comments, she offered advice to one leftist who asked how they could best defend against tear gas. “What respirator mask do you recommend for combating tear gas?” one user with a pride flag profile picture asked. Screenshot “If you can afford it, a full on gas mask … but they’re heavy and cumbersome,” the activist said in response. “Otherwise a half-mask respirator. You can get them for around $45-50 at hardware stores,” she went on to say under the post, which featured a shopping cart full of what appear to be half-mask respirators. Screenshot In an earlier post encouraging people to attend a “mass mobilization” action against ICE, she advertised the impending gear distribution, adding “Only grab gear if you are literally going out to the front lines TODAY.” Screenshot But the Instagram user, who has a history of anti-Israel activism, was not acting alone. She tagged multiple informal organizations in her posts, including “socaluprising” and “eastlaimagee” thanking them for helping her fundraise for the supplies. One group on Instagram, called “SuperFamilia_KC,” was credited by the activist “for bringing everyone together to raise funds for this important cause,” while another post said that the group “donated funds” to the effort. The group’s Venmo account is attached to the name “Rosario Lopez Hernandez,” who appears to be heavily involved in leftist protest organizing. Lopez Hernandez was among the organizers who set up tents and formed an encampment on a Washington State property owned by the City of Kent as she pushed the city to provide housing for illegal aliens. Lopez Hernandez demanded that the city house illegal aliens in a motel that was reserved for homeless American citizens. She and her team of activists pulled the same stunt in Seattle, forming another encampment at a public park, again demanding housing for illegal aliens. Lopez Hernandez chased out one reporter who entered the encampment. She was also charged with trespassing at a Seattle City Council meeting, which she attended to again demand the city provide housing to illegal aliens. The Venmo account’s history shows multiple people sending donations with phrases like “f*ck ICE” and “Ice melts under resistance.” The activist behind the Instagram account also reposted a “non-violent guide” called “how to make it harder for cops to do their jobs,” which recommended activists pick up tear gas canisters and “return to owner,” or throw it back at the police. “Make sure you’re wearing heat resistant gloves!” the post says, adding “cops have gas masks and threw it at you, so feel no shame and yeet that shit.” Screenshot Super Familia made a post of their own, which read “if you plan to put your body on the line … wear heat resistant gloves, pads, long sleeves, a helmet, and bring an umbrella,” referencing many of the items that it appears to have helped fundraise for. Screenshot While other leftwing groups fundraise for and distribute respirators, helmets, and other material that could be used by rioters, Ornella now sits in federal custody and could face up to five years in prison if convicted. “We are moving quickly to identify and arrest those involved in organizing and/or supporting civil disorder in Los Angeles,” Essayli noted after the arrest.

Dappled Horse Has The Time Of His Life Playing With Perfectly Sized Ball

Flynn is a beautiful, dappled Appaloosa yearling horse who might actually be a dog trapped in a horse body. Specifically, a golden retriever. He is full of youthful energy and stuck on a farm with a bunch of old, fuddy-duddy horses. The other horses don’t want to play and sometimes barely tolerate Flynn’s existence in their realm. Flynn’s owners knew he needed some enrichment activity, so they got the horse a ball to play with. @heatherrrr.979 He’s such a goon #horsesoftiktok #appaloosahorse #viral #fypppppppppppppp #funnyhorse #yearlingcolt ♬ Here Comes the Hotstepper – Ini Kamoze Flynn likes any type of ball, but his favorite is the big blue and yellow one he just got recently. From the second they put the ball in the corral, Flynn took off with it. The ball is big enough for him to push with his nose and chase. It is sturdy enough that when he drops onto it, it doesn’t burst. Alas, even with the new ball, Flynn still annoys the older horses. Maybe not as much, and it’s only been a week since he got it. @heatherrrr.979 #horsesoftiktok #funnyhorse #appaloosahorse #viral #LiveOutlandish ♬ Rock and Roll Session – Canal Records JP Keeping an exuberant yearling engaged is a lot of work. To watch the horse play with the big ball so enthusiastically is heartwarming. Horse owner Heather provides plenty of additional enrichment for her horses, too. As a yearling, it will be another year or two before Flynn is saddle-ready. While he continues growing, he has plenty of dog friends to chase around the yard. Once he starts calming down his golden retriever spirit, the older horses might accept him. But his spunk is a part of his personality, so he may never outgrow that. @heatherrrr.979 It’s the 77 inch. It held up to Flynn’s excessive pawing and when I accidentally ran it over in the truck #horses #horsesoftiktok #yearlingcolt #appaloosahorse #fypppppppppppppp #viral #funnyhorse #horsesontiktok ♬ original sound – Rowdy Around Midnight To watch Flynn the horse play with his ball as he grows, please follow Heather. Find out if the big horses ever accept him into the herd. Please share. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. 27 States and D.C Sue to Block Sale of 23andMe Genetic Data in Bankruptcy Proceedings

27 States and D.C Sue to Block Sale of 23andMe Genetic Data in Bankruptcy Proceedings

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, subscribe to Reclaim The Net. A group of 27 states along with the District of Columbia is taking legal action to halt the potential sale of consumer genetic data held by 23andMe, arguing that individuals never agreed to have their DNA treated like property in a bankruptcy proceeding. The case, filed in US Bankruptcy Court in Missouri, targets what the states view as a dangerous precedent: auctioning off sensitive, deeply personal genetic material without the informed, ongoing consent of those who provided it. We obtained a copy of the complaint for you here. 23andMe, once a dominant force in the consumer genetics industry, has gathered DNA samples from more than 15 million users. The company, previously valued at $6 billion, filed for bankruptcy earlier this year and began a court-supervised process to offload its assets. At the center of the lawsuit is a belief that genetic data cannot be lumped in with other commercial holdings. States argue that this information is not only private but fundamentally irreplaceable. “This isn’t just data — it’s your DNA,” said Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield. “It’s personal, permanent, and deeply private. People did not submit their personal data to 23andMe thinking their genetic blueprint would later be sold off to the highest bidder.” Although 23andMe stated in May that Regeneron Pharmaceuticals would purchase the company and honor existing privacy terms, the sale was paused when TTAM Research Institute, led by 23andMe co-founder Anne Wojcicki, submitted a competing bid. Wojcicki has been trying to reacquire the company for some time, and the judge overseeing the bankruptcy opted to reopen the bidding. The company has responded by denying that the lawsuit has any legal foundation. A spokesperson maintained that privacy policies would continue to apply under new ownership. “Customers will continue to have the same rights and protections in the hands of the winning bidder,” the spokesperson said. Privacy advocates and legal experts have raised red flags, pointing out that while 23andMe claims to follow strict policies, those rules can change at any time. Sara Geoghegan, a senior counsel at the Electronic Privacy Information Center, highlighted the risks in an earlier interview. “I would be very concerned if I had given a swab to 23andMe,” she said. “There is little we can do to control what happens to it.” Testifying before lawmakers this week, interim CEO Joseph Selsavage revealed that since the bankruptcy was announced in March, 1.9 million people have requested that their genetic data be deleted. Under California and federal privacy laws, users are entitled to have their information removed. Why Trump’s war with Harvard hits closer to home than you think

Why Trump’s war with Harvard hits closer to home than you think

Harvard University — the gold-plated symbol of American elitism — is in the fight of its life, and it’s a battle of its own making. For the past month, Harvard has been locked in a standoff with the Trump administration over student visas, foreign money, anti-Semitism, and compliance with federal law. This is more than just another Beltway spat. This is a tectonic clash between the people who built this country and the elites who now believe they own it.Why are taxpayers subsidizing institutions that actively undermine the very values that built this country? To most Americans, Harvard stands for privilege, power, and a snobbish culture far removed from the everyday citizen. So why should you care what happens to Harvard?Because this isn’t just about one Ivy League school. It’s about whether America will remain a free republic — or continue down the path of ideological capture by radical institutions. It all began in April, when Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem demanded that Harvard provide records of foreign students involved in illegal, violent, or disruptive activities — like the kind of protests we saw last year that devolved into pro-Hamas encampments. Harvard missed the deadline. So the Trump administration pulled the plug: No more international student enrollments for Harvard. To say that hurt would be an understatement. Foreign students make up 27% of Harvard’s student body — more than 6,700 individuals. Their tuition is a massive cash cow. Harvard sued, of course, and a federal judge has temporarily paused the visa ban. But the message from Trump’s Department of Homeland Security was clear: Comply with federal law or face the consequences. Then came a broader move: The administration paused all new student visa interviews nationwide while it considers expanding social media vetting for foreign applicants. After the chaos we saw on campuses last fall, that seems like basic common sense.Shut off the spigotNext, the Trump administration turned off the federal funding faucet — more than $3 billion in research grants and contracts frozen. Harvard screamed censorship and filed another lawsuit, claiming this was a First Amendment violation. But let’s pause here: Harvard has a $53 billion endowment. That’s more than the GDP of more than 120 countries. Why does an institution that rich receive any federal funding, let alone billions? Since World War II, the federal government has been throwing money at universities for research, including the development of the atomic bomb. Once the spigot opened, it never shut. Today, your taxpayer dollars are funding a $50,000 research project into the effects of coffee.Congress is finally waking up. A bill is working its way through the Senate that would slap a tax on massive university endowments. Harvard alone could be facing an $850 million annual tax bill. About time!Behind the crackdownThree key factors are driving Trump’s fight with Harvard. The first reason is anti-Semitism. Harvard, like many elite schools, turned a blind eye to vile anti-Jewish sentiment after the October 2023 Hamas attacks in Israel. The administration says enough is enough — and it’s right.Second, Harvard has refused to comply with the 2023 Supreme Court decision declaring race-based admissions unconstitutional. The message from Harvard? We’re above the law.Third, Harvard has been deeply entrenched in woke ideological corruption. Trump said it plainly on the campaign trail: Elite universities like Harvard are controlled by “Marxist maniacs and lunatics.” That’s not hyperbole. Harvard has abandoned its motto, Veritas — truth — in favor of radical conformity.RELATED: Higher ed’s shield shatters under Trump’s new directive Photo by SAUL LOEB/AFP via Getty ImagesJust 9% of Harvard students identify as conservative. Among faculty, that number is a jaw-dropping 2.5%. This is a monoculture, not any sort of “marketplace of ideas.”And it’s getting worse. In March, a Harvard professor openly called for firing any faculty who don’t support “gender-affirming care” for children. Think about that. This is not education. This is indoctrination. The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression recently ranked Harvard dead last in the country for free speech. It scored zero out of 100.A fight beyond HarvardMaybe you’re thinking, “Yeah, Harvard’s always been liberal. What else is new?” Here’s what is new: The radicalism cultivated behind ivy-covered walls has spilled into the real world. We’ve had a cultural lab leak. Academic ideas once confined to lecture halls — critical race theory, diversity, equity, and inclusion measures, gender ideology, climate hysteria — are now infecting K-12 classrooms, human resources departments, government agencies, and even the military. This is no longer a theoretical problem. It’s practical. It’s personal. It affects your children’s education, your job, your freedom of speech, and your values. So here’s the question we should all be asking: Why are taxpayers subsidizing institutions that actively undermine the very principles and beliefs that built this country?Trump’s war on Harvard is about more than visas, lawsuits, or even money. It’s about reclaiming the soul of America from those who have hijacked it. Harvard may have prestige, but it no longer has integrity. It certainly doesn’t need your money — or your consent. It’s time to cut off the funding, tax the endowment, and force accountability. Because in the fight for America’s future, no institution should be above the people who pay the bills.Want more from Glenn Beck?
