The Kecksburg‚ Pennsylvania UFO Recovery 58 Years Ago Today And Still No Answers  - December 9‚ 2023From: Researcher Stan Gordon - www.stangordon.infoDecember 9‚ 1965. It was a date that many Pennsylvania residents will never forget. It was about 4:47 PM when witnesses were ringing the phones at police departments‚ radio and TV stations‚ and newspaper offices in the greater Pittsburgh area to report seeing a bright fiery object passing through the sky. During the late afternoon and throughout Thursday evening‚ that news was breaking around Pittsburgh. I was sixteen years old at the time of the occurrence‚ and I began to document the information as it was breaking on radio and television.Television‚ radio‚ and newspaper reporters from many localities that evening rushed to the small rural community of Kecksburg located in Westmoreland County. They had received information that the object that had been seen in the sky around Pittsburgh had reportedly fallen into a heavily wooded area outside of that town. By the time many of the news media arrived that evening‚ they found the rural roads jammed with curious people who wanted to get a look at whatever it was that had reportedly fallen into the woods. They also encountered volunteer firemen‚ state police‚ and military personnel.Surprising to many who were in the area that day was the quick arrival of the military. There is no doubt that the military was there. Area residents and other visitors who went to Kecksburg that day‚ as well as firemen‚ law enforcement officers‚ and numerous reporters‚ confirmed this to me. Several types of military vehicles were seen in the area where the object had fallen and was later reportedly recovered. Witnesses said they saw Air Force and Army personnel. Other witnesses stated that they either saw or interacted with NASA personnel.Over the years since the incident took place‚ I tracked down hundreds of people who had knowledge of what had occurred. Many witnesses to that 1965 incident have now passed away. Others are indeed elderly‚ and many are in poor health. There are others‚ however‚ who are still alive and will never forget what they saw and experienced that day so many years ago.In past years I filed numerous (FOIA) requests with many agencies for information about the Kecksburg incident. It was in the mid-1980s that researcher Ray Boeche obtained the Air Force Project Blue Book report on the occurrence. The location was listed as Acme‚ rather than Kecksburg. Years ago‚ I interviewed a family who had been involved in the incident. They had been visited by an Air Force officer at that time in 1965. They lived close to where the object had reportedly fallen‚ however‚ they had an Acme mailing address. I believe that is why the location is listed as Acme.During my investigation‚ I learned that some local residents who saw the object fall from the sky into the nearby woods that afternoon‚ soon after‚ went down into those woods to find out what had fallen. That is when they came across that large metallic acorn-shaped object with odd symbols on its surface‚ partially buried in the ground. No weld marks‚ rivets‚ or seams were observed on the object. One witness who stood only a few feet away from the landed object stated that it looked like someone poured liquid metal into an acorn-shaped mold. Because of his family background‚ that witness was certain that the symbols on the raised-up section on the back of the object were not of Soviet origin. Late that evening‚ numerous witnesses observed an acorn-shaped object covered with a tarp being transported out of the area on a military flatbed tractor-trailer truck.I later learned from independent sources that the object was transported during the early morning hours of December 10‚ 1965‚ from the Kecksburg area to Lockbourne Air Force Base near Columbus‚ Ohio. The flatbed tractor trailer and its cargo were backed into a hanger on the base. An armed security team guarded that hanger while that truck remained on that base for a brief time. The truck and its cargo continued onto Wright Patterson Air Force base where the object was later placed inside of an existing building. It was not Hangar 18 that we had heard about over the years.Since the time the incident occurred‚ there have been numerous theories proposed as to what that object was that fell near Kecksburg 58 years ago. Was this object a very secretive and advanced man-made space device or could it have been of non-human origin? I keep an open mind to both possibilities and so did many of the witnesses that saw that object long ago.There is one detail that is not widely known concerning the description of the object. Some witnesses had a close view of the object. They reported that there was a raised protuberance that extended out from the front section of the object.This is the sketch of the object drawn by a witness who observed it pass low overhead moments before impact.(Stan Gordon Files)Whatever that object was‚ it performed some interesting maneuvers along its path. The object was moving roughly SE from Allegheny County into Westmoreland County and over the city of Greensburg. It moved toward Route 30 east near what was then the Gee Bee department store and made a turn to the south. The object was observed from such areas as Margurite‚ Norvelt‚ and Mammoth‚ over the outskirts of Kecksburg‚ and continued to move toward the mountains of Laurelville about 3.5 miles away. The object seemed to hesitate over the mountain‚ then began to travel back toward the outskirts of  Kecksburg‚ then turned again and dropped down into the woods. Area residents who saw the object fall said that it was moving quite slowly and went down as though it was making a controlled landing. There were no parachutes reported at the site during or after the landing. For years‚ I had information from witnesses who told me that the next day (Friday) after the incident had taken place‚ a smaller group of personnel returned to the location and were observed entering the woods where the object had fallen. For example‚ Two boys walking in those woods the next morning were stopped by a man with an instrument‚ possibly a metal detector or Geiger counter‚ and were told that they better leave the woods since there was the chance of radiation. Additionally‚ independent newspaper stories confirmed that there was another search of the area the next day where the object had fallen. They also mentioned the military being there. However‚ in some other Friday newspapers‚ the officials indicated that the search was over that nothing was found‚ and that the object was Likely a meteor observed in the sky.What was the object that fell into the woods outside of Kecksburg that afternoon in 1965? What was so important about that object that armed military personnel reportedly responded so quickly to recover it?I learned various details over the years that concerned the incident that were quite fascinating. This is an example of what I came across.*On the day of the occurrence‚ more than one reporter on the scene who was taking pictures‚ reportedly had the film confiscated from their camera by authorities in that area.*I was told many years ago by a witness who is now deceased‚ that he and another family member were transported from a location near the impact site to their home in a military jeep. While riding in the vehicle‚ they overheard radio transmissions that there was someone down in the woods with a camera. He said the voices sounded extremely excited and concerned until the photographer was located.*News crews from Pittsburgh area TV stations were on the scene that evening. There were news stories about the occurrence that aired on Thursday evening and Friday. I recall watching the TV broadcast of the incident the next day that was in black and white on one of the stations. Over the years I requested the TV stations to attempt to locate the archival newsreels for that day in 1965. None of that footage has ever been found after various attempts were conducted to locate what had been broadcast and should have been in the station’s news library archives.*Over the years‚ various Kecksburg fire department officials confirmed to me that the records for December of 1965‚ such as the incident report logs for fire vehicles were all missing. All other records were accounted for.*Independent witnesses who were in the area near where the object fell that evening‚ confirmed that there were not just one‚ but two military flatbed tractor-trailer trucks on the scene along with other military vehicles.*Independent witnesses reported seeing men in what they referred to as “moon suits (hazmat) around the area where the object had reportedly fallen.On July 26‚ 2023‚ whistleblower‚ David Grusch‚ A former military intelligence officer testified before Congress under oath that he had information that the government had a secret program that involved the recovery of UFOs or UAP. I believe David Grusch is telling the truth.It is quite likely that there was already a quick response government UFO recovery program in operation in 1965 and was involved with the Kecksburg incident. It is interesting that within the Project Blue Book report was  an entry on this case that stated‚ “A three-man team has been dispatched to Acme‚ PA to investigate and pick up an object that started a fire.”Some of the locals were certain that they began to see a small military presence around the Kecksburg area within the hour after the object had reportedly fallen. It was during the next few hours‚ however‚ that a considerable number of military vehicles and personnel would arrive in the area from various directions. Local and national newspaper stories mentioned the military activity in the Kecksburg area.I am still hopeful that photos that were reportedly taken that evening of not only the military trucks but also of the object will still show up. I crossed paths with various individuals who told me they saw black and white photos that were taken at that time. I talked with a person whom I believe was at the scene that night who told me that he took photos of the object on the military truck. He lent the pictures to some friends and the pictures have since been lost. Some families might have such pictures in some old scrapbooks.This picture that has been circulating on the internet IS NOT an authentic picture of the Kecksburg object with military vehicles. The photo was taken during the reenactment shoot of the incident for the Unsolved Mysteries TV program that aired in 1990. The mockup of the object was created for the program and was later given to the Keckburg Volunteer Fire Department. On the 8/1/2016 broadcast of Darkness Radio‚ a caller asked Dave to talk about his Bigfoot encounter‚ something he had alluded to in previous episodes but never gone into detail about.“I was in Foley‚ Alabama. My grandparents had property out there. They had 40 acres and of the 40 acres only 7 or 8 of them were liveable. The rest was just woods and junk and bayou back there. So we used to go play all the time‚ fish at the pond. We would hear things walking around out in the woods all the time. You know‚ as little kids‚ it doesn't register that it's something scary or something.I was 11 years old‚ and I was there fishing with my cousin and I kept hearing this crunching noise and it was getting louder and louder and my cousin Rob and I were looking at each other and he's about 2 or 3 years younger than me. We keep hearing this crunching noise and it's getting closer and closer to the back of the pond and the bushes that were all around the back of the pond‚ they were tall. They were 6 feet tall. And as we're sitting there watching‚ all of a sudden just this furry Chewbacca-looking hand just comes up over the top of the bush and pushes the bush down. And it had a kind of dark grey-black mane. I don't know how else to explain it. Kind of a darkened-colored face and it pushed down the bush and all I could see was the nose and up. First of all‚ I was fascinated by the Bee Gees hair style it had‚ a pompadour of grey. Then I looked at my cousin‚ then looked back at this thing and just pure terror jolted through my bones. I ran like hell.We got up to the house half expecting to find that one of ours dads wasn't there and had snuck around in the woods to scare us but everybody we knew was in the house. We alerted them to what was going on and I don't think they believed us but they wanted to make sure there wasn't some homeless guy hanging out in their woods. They all grabbed their guns‚ shotguns‚ to go out there and go check just in case. And that was it.That was my one and only experience seeing something that fits the Bigfoot bill. I didn't get a smell. I didn't notice any other deafening sound. Like nothing was going on‚ it was just the crunching of this thing getting closer and closer to the back of the pond. Is Israel Losing the War?

Here we go again. Every few weeks we get a new message from Disney‚ Inc. about the company’s lurch to the Left. In September‚ Disney CEO Bob Iger vowed to lower the volume on the culture wars. Just earlier this week‚ we learned the company admitted its progressive policies are hurting profits with little promise of addressing the issue. “For shareholders‚ it may seem counterintuitive that corporate executives would trade off profits for political or social agendas. However‚ it does serve as a rationale for individual corporate executives who are professionally advanced when they champion such causes‚” Jonathan Turley wrote. Now‚ Iger’s most recent statement suggests the powerful CEO has seen enough. This comes courtesy of World of Reel‚ citing information from CNBC’s Alex Sherman. Iger blamed the creators at Disney for losing sight of what their jobs should be — he explained that it got worse when he left as CEO/Chairman. In his own words‚ Iger says “entertain first‚ not messages”. He adds that stories infused with “positive messages for the world” can be great‚ but that it shouldn’t be forced upon an audience. Did Iger watch “South Park” like the rest of us? The Paramount+ show’s “Joining the Panderverse” episode skewered Disney for its woke makeover.     South Park: Joining the Panderverse | First Look Clip | Paramount+ Iger’s new comments are the most powerful signal that the CEO finally understands Disney’s progressive shift hurt its bottom line. Bigly. Box office flop after flop after flop after flop‚ for starters. Disney+ is still losing subscribers and money. Bulletproof franchises like “Star Wars” and the MCU no longer command respect like they once did. Except Iger’s past signals didn’t result in real change within the company. At least not yet. The latest Iger confession could be a response to activist investor Nelson Peltz’s quest to grab more Disney board seats in the new year. Peltz wants the once beloved company to return to its family-friendly‚ apolitical roots. Peltz’s Trian Partners said Thursday morning that‚ having not received a warm welcome from Disney’s board of directors or from CEO Bob Iger‚ “Trian intends to take our case for change directly to shareholders.” Plus‚ Disney recently yanked advertising from X‚ Elon Musk’s free speech friendlier version of Twitter. That’s an overtly political move.  Musk is a left-leaning soul‚ but he’s been drifting to the Right given the Left’s quest to silence free speech. Iger’s Disney followed a false narrative that Musk is an anti-semite and pulled ads from the platform in response. Meanwhile‚ TikTok promotes Osama bin Laden’s rhetoric and other social media giants teem with hateful content. Why single out X? We know why. Iger and co. haven’t gotten politics out of their system yet. Talk is talk until we see real action behind it. The ball’s in your court‚ Mr. Iger. There’s another factor in play. Iger may have political ambitions for his post-Disney career. He’s vowed to step aside‚ permanently this time‚ as CEO in 2026. What happens next? Iger’s ties to the Democratic Party are deep. His ABC network protected the Clintons during “The Path to 9/11” release debacle. The Democrat field has no clear presidential favorites beyond Joe Biden. Could Iger step into that void following the 2024 elections? He once dreamed about doing just that. “I think that America is gravely in need of optimism‚ of looking at the future and believing that so many things are going to be all right‚ or that we as a nation can attack some of the most critical problems of our day‚” he told Laurene Powell Jobs in 2019 at an ideas conference. Lately‚ he’s dropped such talk. Bringing Disney back from the brink is his main focus today. Still‚ the CEO’s ability to say multiple things at once and flip flop on key positions suggests he’s primed for a political career.

CNN senior political analyst John Avlon‚ with his signature “reality check” segments‚ fancies himself as someone who calls out political spin and misinformation‚ but on Friday’s edition of Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO it was Avlon who needed and got a much needed reality check on the Biden economy after he said the country was “objectively” better off than in 2020. PBS NewsHour special correspondent Jane Ferguson noted that‚ “the average person is‚ kind of‚ like‚ getting told by billionaires all the time and then going to the grocery store and finding things are way more expensive.”     Avlon responded by wasting no time in getting eye-raising claims‚ “And it's utterly screwed up and look‚ politics is perception‚ but the cost of living issue is real and we did take low inflation for granted for a long time. You know‚ you know‚ you don't hear a lot from the MMT crowd on the far-left‚ ‘none of this matters you can keep spending all the money you want.’ It does have an impact.”  Huh? People on the left have constantly denied that their spending hand anything to do with inflation. Still‚ Avlon insisted that‚ “Biden's got a good story to tell about the economy. It is objectively true that our country is better off economically than we were certainly three years ago and it's not just because of the pandemic.” Avlon then proceeded to list off a series of stats that very much were impacted by the pandemic‚ “I mean‚ you know‚ we've had 14 million jobs grown‚ we’ve got wages outpacing inflation‚ inflation is going down‚ unemployment rate is under 4 percent.” For Avlon the problem for Biden is one of messaging‚ “Main Street is actually doing well compared to Wall Street and we've got manufacturing coming back a lot of big bipartisan bills are starting to take effect including the infrastructure bill and the CHIPS Act. Those are good stories to tell. Democrats and Biden aren't telling them well but those are-- that kind of reality matters.” An unconvinced Maher then recalled‚ “Well‚ actually‚ what I read is that since 2020‚ prices are basically up 20 percent‚ but so are wages‚ so it's a complete draw. So‚ it doesn’t it doesn’t look like you won anything.” Probably not realizing that Maher just undermined his entire argument‚ Avlon agreed‚ “That’s a problem.” That would mean that the economy is not objectively doing better under Biden‚ but what else do you expect from a CNN reality checker? The Hollywood home of Keanu Reeves was raided by burglars earlier this week‚ multiple reports say. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said officers responded to an anonymous call about trespassers at the home of the "John Wick" star around 7 p.m. on Wednesday. However‚ LAPD officers did not find anyone at the "Matrix" star's home in Hollywood Hills. Then around 1 a.m. on Thursday‚ police responded to an alarm that was tripped at the celebrity's home. Investigators reviewed security camera footage that reportedly showed multiple men in ski masks smashing a window and entering the property. The perpetrators allegedly fled the crime scene before police arrived. "According to our sources‚ the culprits took one firearm from the home before making a run for it. In February‚ Reeves and his partner‚ Alexandra Grant‚ were granted a restraining order against a 38-year-old man who is accused of stalking‚ harassing‚ and trespassing on the actor’s property. An Oakland-based coffee shop recently issued an apology after a video cropped up on social media of staffers apparently blocking a Jewish woman from using the restroom and spewing anti-Israel comments.The video showing the incident was apparently removed by X account @StopAntisemites‚ at the request of the victim in the situation. However‚ the account stated that Farley's Coffee — the business in question — issued an apology following the incident‚ claiming that they are currently in the process of "taking corrective action." But it is still not clear if any of the employees involved in the debacle have been fired. — (@) Fox News Digital reported that the Jewish woman recorded the coffee shop's employees standing in front of the restroom door‚ asking her to leave the establishment. The employees apparently did not want the woman to record the graffiti scrawled inside the restroom‚ which equated fascism and Zionism. The staffers also accused the woman of "misgendering" an employee. In the video‚ one employee told the woman‚ "We've given you all your food. You've eaten‚ you're holding up s**t."However‚ the woman insisted that she wanted to go into the restroom. However‚ one employee claimed that the restaurant was private property‚ saying "I need you to leave." A second employee told the woman‚ "I know Israel loves taking private property and saying it's their own‚ but you gotta head..."The woman responded‚ "You're not going to let me go into the restroom?"One of the employees then claimed that the woman had misgendered one of them. The woman said that she "patroned" the location‚ insisting that she had a right to use the restroom.The debacle continued until the woman was‚ eventually‚ allowed to enter the restroom.Farley's Coffee issued an apology on their Instagram page following the incident‚ writing: "Dear Valued Community‚ In response to the recent incident at our family-owned cafe‚ we want to offer an acknowledgement and a sincere apology. As context‚ hate speech graffiti was written in our bathroom. We do not support hate speech; this does not reflect our values. After a customer used the bathroom and wished to return to document the graffiti‚ they were initially denied access and then allowed to re-enter to document the graffiti."
