Foreigner’s Lou Gramm releases new song “Time Heals the Pain”

Besides singing with Foreigner on selected dates this year, the band’s original singer Lou Gramm is also promoting new solo music. He just released "Time Heals the Pain", the third single of his upcoming album called “Released”, which will be out next March 27. The record features 10 original tracks which were co-written by Lou and his former Black Sheep bandmate Bruce Turgon. “My new album ‘Released’ is a collection of unreleased songs that were recorded in the 1980s during the production of my three previous solo albums. These are powerful, heartfelt songs with a great vintage sound taken right from my old multitrack tapes. This new album was a long time coming and it’s a real nostalgia trip.” “When I pulled these songs out of the vault, I knew I had to finish them for my fans around the world, so they can experience what I did when I first heard them after all these years. It means a lot to me to finally see this album released, to be taken back in time when I hear this music again, to remember working with all these great musicians, and to feel that my catalog is now complete,” Lou Gramm said. Dead Kennedys original vocalist is recovering from a stroke

The original Dead Kennedys vocalist Jello Biafra (67) suffered a hemorrhagic stroke caused by high blood pressure, as revealed on his official social media. The musician said he is currently hospitalized but stable and has begun his recovery while receiving the care he needs. What the original Dead Kennedys vocalist Jello Biafra said about his health "On Saturday, March 7th Jello Biafra suffered a hemorrhagic stroke caused by high blood pressure. As per Jello: 'I hopped out of my bed because I needed to pee, and my left leg just collapsed under me and I fell to the floor. I couldn’t even break the fall with my left arm because it wasn’t working either. I tried to hop back up again, and I couldn’t. I realized I had 'fallen and I can’t get up!'" "It was this point I thought, 'Oh shit, I’m having a stroke!' I still have a lot of great stuff in me, but right now I gotta lotta of rehabbing to do.' Jello Biafra is currently hospitalized but stable. Speaking for the Alternative Tentacles family, we are all just very thankful he is okay and getting the care that he needs. We will update you all as we are able," Jello Biafra said. The Dead Kennedys are one of the most important Punk Rock bands of all time, especially for the American scene. Jello Biafra helped form the band in San Francisco, California, back in 1978 and remained a member until 1986. The band was reformed in 2001 by East Bay Ray (guitar), Klaus Flouride (bass) and D. H. Peligro (drums, died in 2022), and has been active since then. However, since Biafra left the band they haven’t released a new album. Their discography remains the same: "Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables" (1980), "Plastic Surgery Disasters" (1982), "Frankenchrist" (1985) and "Bedtime for Democracy" (1986). Biafra, on the other hand, has been quite prolific, having released several spoken word and music albums over the decades with bands like Lard and Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine. The post Dead Kennedys original vocalist is recovering from a stroke appeared first on Rock and Roll Garage.
