Comedian Leslie Jones demanded a “reckoning” and called for all Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to be thrown in jail during a podcast appearance with MS NOW host Nicolle Wallace. Jones was a guest on Wallace’s podcast, called “The Best People,” and she spent most of the time trashing President Donald Trump and laying the blame at the feet of the people who voted for him. “We are the people. I am so tired of everybody not realizing that,” she began, comparing Trump to a used car salesman, a snake-oil salesman, and “the emperor with no clothes” at different points throughout the conversation. “We are the people. The only reason this man is popular is because of us. How do you think the era ends?” “Girl, I’m hoping, this is what I’m hoping,” Jones said, adding, “That midterms, people come out and vote like crazy to switch it over, and then the reckoning comes.” “That’s what I want, all — everybody that worked for ICE, I want them in jail. I just want a reckoning,” she continued, clapping her hands for emphasis. “I want a reckoning. Y’all know y’all did wrong stuff. You know some of the stuff you did was so wrong. I need a reckoning, because that’s — to me — that’s the only thing that’s gonna make it right.”

President Donald Trump sparked much commentary on Monday with his online response to the murders of Hollywood director and producer Rob Reiner — a vocal Trump critic, who called for the president’s indictment — and his wife. Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner were reportedly stabbed to death at their Los Angeles home over the weekend. The couple’s 32-year-old son, Nick, has been arrested in connection with the brutal attack, according to Page Six. “A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS,” the president wrote in a post on Truth Social. “He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. In 2022, Reiner said Trump was “100% responsible” for a physical attack on Paul Pelosi and the January 6 Capitol breach, adding that Trump “must be indicted and never be allowed to hold office.” More recently, Reiner claimed Trump could bring “full-on autocracy” to the United States. He also said Trump was cracking down on First Amendment rights and “has declared war on this democracy.” “He throws people out of the country without due process,” Reiner claimed. “He takes funds that were appropriated by Congress, refuses to distribute them, in clear contradiction to the Constitution, the separation of powers.” Reiner also released a documentary in 2024 that focused on the rise of “Christian Nationalism” as a threat to democracy. News Assassin’s Creed The Cast for the Assassin’s Creed Series Continues to Grow The Netflix series is set to start filming in Italy next year By Vanessa Armstrong | Published on December 15, 2025 Photo: Netflix, FX on Hulu Comment 0 Share New Share Photo: Netflix, FX on Hulu The live-action series adaptation of Assassin’s Creed continues to move forward at Netflix. We recently found out that Eden actor Toby Wallace would star on the show. And even more recently, we learned that Lola Petticrew (Tuesday, Say Nothing) would also lead the series with Wallace. Today, one more name has been added to the roster. According to Deadline, Zachary Hart has joined as a series regular. Hart’s previous credits include one-episode stints on shows like The Witcher: Blood Origin, Masters of the Air, and Slow Horses. The roles he and his co-leads are playing, however, remain unknown. One thing we do know is that the show will start shooting in Italy next year, and that Italy will serve as the setting for the show, although the exact time period(s) we’ll see are uncertain. The Ubisoft video game franchise has some convoluted lore, but the crux of it is that there are two factions who have battled each other for centuries over whether humanity should have free will. Part of that battle involves finding and wielding “pieces of Eden,” which are remnants of technology from a technologically advanced species that lived on Earth before humans. It also involves running over a lot of rooftops and certain people (the Assassins) using technology to “travel” back in time to relive the lives of their ancestors and find the aforementioned pieces of Eden (just go with it). No news yet on when the show will make its way to Netflix, and hopefully we’ll get some glimmers on the plot and/or who these actors are playing before then as well.
