‘That’s Fairly The Vibe’: Psaki Just Admitted What Critics Already Knew About MSNBC Coverage

As an adviser to Barack Obama and White House press secretary under Joe Biden, no one would expect Jen Psaki to present a sympathetic view of the GOP from her current role as an MSNBC host. Nevertheless, it came as a surprise to many when she offered a candid assessment of the cable news network’s obvious left-wing slant and bias against President Donald Trump. As the New York Post reported: “And, we’re also going to talk about Trump, and it’s typically not going to be positive. I don’t think anybody watching expects it to be positive, right? There’s not like a North Star thing written on a card, and everybody does it slightly differently but I think that’s fairly the vibe.” Psaki noted that while she has featured Republicans on her cable news program, she’s never been directed by her bosses to appeal to right-leaning viewership. “I have not experienced this like, ‘You have to move to the center, you have to have Republicans on, you have to be more moderate, you can’t say that thing’,” she continued. “What’s unique is that every show kind of has a bit of a North Star, but the vibe is, kind of, under the same umbrella.” Psaki recently secured a new primetime slot as part of a massive shakeup at the embattled network – taking over 9 p.m. duties Thursday through Fridays from ousted host Alex Wagner in two weeks, the network announced in February. Of course, her work as a left-wing shill on MSNBC speaks for itself: NEW: Miguel Cardona – Biden’s failed Secretary of Education who once said he doesn’t “have too much respect” for parents speaking up about radical gender ideology in schools, is now crying on about losing control over the DEI cult in schools. Jen Psaki, equally deranged,… pic.twitter.com/ZNBUYhPyi0 — Chaotic Genius (@realchaosgenius) April 7, 2025 Here’s a full transcript of the post above: NEW: Miguel Cardona – Biden’s failed Secretary of Education who once said he doesn’t “have too much respect” for parents speaking up about radical gender ideology in schools, is now crying on about losing control over the DEI cult in schools. Jen Psaki, equally deranged, asked: “The need to cut DEI programs and the threat of cutting federal funding, how do you teach history to students if you have to cut out Black history… if you can’t do MLK celebrations… promote STEM for girls?” Cardona: “I had more control in curriculum when I was a fourth grade teacher than I did when I was Secretary of Education.” Then why were you pushing radical gender theory, CRT, and anti-American garbage nationwide? Defund every DEI program. Every single one. Her admission attracted an array of mockery and criticism on social media: Just to add a really important point @msnbc – when you customize your content for your viewer, it’s not news anymore. It’s just propaganda. Are you proud of that? Is the Peacock really proud to follow in the footsteps of Goebbels?? Really? — RagingMutton (@RagingMutton) April 22, 2025 Headline: “Jen Psaki promises her political coverage will be just as objective and unbiased as when she was the Presidential press secretary.” — Part-Time Idea Generator (formerly Susoporino) (@susoporino) April 23, 2025 Fox News also covered the story: MSNBC host Jen Psaki admitted on Tuesday that her network’s liberal audience expects coverage of President Donald Trump that is “typically not going to be positive” as her role expands. Psaki is set to host MSNBC’s 9 p.m. ET program on Tuesdays through Thursdays once “The Rachel Maddow Show” returns to only airing on Mondays following President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office. Psaki, a former Biden administration press secretary, said MSNBC viewers expect the network’s primetime hosts to “talk about the opposition” without being particularly friendly to Trump. “We’re going to talk about what the opposing party is up to, in terms of Democrats, and we’re going to talk about future leaders and things. And, we’re also going to talk about Trump, and it’s typically not going to be positive,” Psaki said on “The Grill Room” podcast with Dylan Byers. In case you’ve been missing her Biden-era catchphrase, here’s a compilation: And here’s some additional commentary regarding her most recent comments:

Gavin Newsom Distances Himself from Democrats: “I’m Marginally Part of This Party”

Is Gavin Newsom changing sides? The California governor now appears to be trying to distance himself away from the Democrat party. In a recent interview with The Hill, Newsom claimed he’s only “marginally part of this party.” Take a look: NEWSOM SHRUGS OFF DEM LABEL: I’M MARGINALLY PART OF THIS PARTY Gavin Newsom just soft-launched his political rebrand: “I’m marginally part of this party.” Add that he’s still trying to figure out what the Democratic Party even is these days. The California governor—whose… https://t.co/MpVrxZD6WQ pic.twitter.com/sE5RL5QfPB — Mario Nawfal (@MarioNawfal) April 23, 2025 He also said that he doesn’t know what the Democrat party is anymore or “what just went wrong.” Don’t be fooled EVIL INCARNATE HIMSELF WILL BE RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IN 2028 EXCLUSIVE: Newsom on Democrats: ‘I don’t know what the party is’ https://t.co/fBftpa1aA3 — Michael Zuber (@1RentalataTime) April 22, 2025 From The Hill: California Gov. Gavin Newsom is accusing the Democratic Party of not yet performing a thorough autopsy on what went wrong in its devastating loss of the White House and Senate majority in November. In an exclusive sit-down interview with The Hill on Monday, Newsom said that if the party wants to find its way back from the wilderness, it has to be willing to look inward at what led to the losses — and the failure to win back the House majority. “We have not done a forensic of what just went wrong, period, full stop,” Newsom said. “I don’t think it, I know it. I mean, to the extent that I’m marginally part of this party, I represent the state larger than 21 state populations combined, and I can assure you there’s not been a party discussion that I’m aware of that has included the state of California.” Later in the interview, Newsom said he wasn’t sure what the Democratic Party truly represents, who is leading it or where it wants to go. “I don’t know what the party is,” he said. “I’m still struggling with that.” Newsom, who is widely seen as a potential Democratic presidential candidate in 2028, also used the interview to argue that his state is actually a microcosm of the rest of the country, and not just the land of Hollywood and Silicon Valley it is sometimes stereotyped as being. Governing the state, he said, has helped him get a better understanding of different Americas and different voters. “And I’ll remind you, for those that think California is just a coastal state, we have 150 percent more ag, hunting, forestry jobs than the next state, 150 percent larger. So, you know, you talk about America, we’re just America, only more so,” said the governor, who is term-limited and cannot run for reelection in 2026. “So, you know, talk about flyover states. My state of mind is deeply entrenched in this rural mindset as I go back over and over and over again in the Central Valley. It’s not helped me electorally, but it certainly helped me sort of create a sort of consciousness around that.” Newsom said there must be a period of reflection and accountability for the Democratic Party. “If you don’t learn the lessons of the past, you will repeat them,” said the governor, expressing some frustration with the lack of introspection by his party. “The fact that we’re not even stress-testing what the hell just happened and we’re having an honest forensic conversation” he said. What do you think? Are Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon — both of whom Newsom recently interviewed for his podcast — rubbing off on him? Is Newsom being genuine or just trying to grift and rebrand himself? Perhaps in preparation for a 2028 presidential run? Here’s what folks are saying about it online: Gavin Newsom is the embodiment of everything I hate about politicians. Nothing he says means anything is all lip service. — DeadSkeptical (@BeenThayer) April 22, 2025 Gavin Newsom, has no allegiance to anything other than financial and political advancement. Democrat donors are not prepared to infuse capital with a party in complete disarray so he’ll present positions that track as reasonable with those in charge of the purse. — TyphoonChicken (@TyphoonChicken) April 22, 2025 He’s still warming up — Western Civilization ? ✞ (@WesternEmpireX) April 23, 2025 Gavin Newsom is the most corrupt, incompetent Governor in California history. But he’s shrews enough to know the Democrat party is a sinking ship. — Christine Rush (@christinerush) April 22, 2025 One thing is for sure here: When even Newsome is trying to distance himself from his own party, you know that party is done. — Michael D McCleary (@michaelmccleary) April 23, 2025 What do you think?

OUTRAGEOUS: Father Arrested for Killing Bear Threatening His Children

A Connecticut father has been arrested and charged after killing a black bear that was threatening his two children. The bear entered 39-year-old Todd Topicz’s garage and was raiding the trash. It came very close, within feet, to his two kids before being chased up a tree by the family dog. Topicz fired off five warning shots at the bear, trying to get it to flee. According to Topicz, he wasn’t even intending to kill the bear. However, he accidentally shot and killed it while trying to chase it off into the woods. Now, he has been arrested by the state’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection for the illegal taking of a bear. To get the charge dismissed, he will have to attend a rehabilitation program. Connecticut dad arrested for shooting bear that ‘came within feet’ of his children https://t.co/fujm3I2Psj pic.twitter.com/R1sWoQWCo4 — The Independent (@Independent) April 22, 2025 More details from Independent: State legislators in Connecticut are demanding an explanation after a local father said he had been arrested and charged with killing a bear in self-defense. Todd Topicz, 39, of Bethlehem in Litchfield County, told local broadcaster WFSB earlier this month that he believed he had to act when a black bear entered his garage, raided his trash, came “within feet” of his two children, and was then chased up a tree by his dog. Topicz said he fired five warning shots at the bear and chased it off into the woods, only to realize afterwards that he had accidentally hit and killed it. Killing bears is illegal in Connecticut unless a person “reasonably believes” that it is entering an occupied building, attacking or threatening a human being, or attacking a properly controlled pet. Nevertheless, the state’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) charged Topicz with the illegal taking of a bear, meaning he must now undergo a rehabilitation program to dismiss the count. “We were all threatened. It entered our home. And I have no idea why DEEP ended up charging me for this,” the U.S. Army veteran told WFSB. What a ridiculous charge. State lawmakers have sent a letter to DEEP, demanding answers as to why they charged Topicz. Per CT Insider: A Bethlehem man said he fired warning shots at a black bear that had come into the garage where his children were playing, but ended up killing it — and paying a price he says was unjust. Todd Topicz, 39, said in an interview Friday that state Environmental Conservation Police charged him with illegally killing the bear in August. Topicz also was charged with negligent discharge of a firearm and breach of peace. He said he has been granted accelerated rehabilitation on all charges, which will be dismissed next year if he meets requirements of the pretrial diversionary program. AR does not require a defendant to enter a guilty plea. Topicz said, however, that the arrest still galls and confuses him. He cited a 2023 state law on self-defense against bears, which says a person may kill a bear if it is inflicting or about to inflict great bodily harm, injuring or killing a pet or entering a building occupied by people. State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection spokesperson James Fowler said the case has a sealed court record, and the agency had no information to provide. Republican state Sens. Eric Berthel, Stephen Harding and Henri Martin sent a letter to DEEP Commissioner Katie Dykes on Thursday, seeking answers on why Topicz was charged. “The arrest confused Mr. Topicz, and understandably so,” the senators wrote, outlining the law on self-defense against bears. “Mr. Topicz said he felt that his situation met the criteria,” they wrote. “The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is not commenting on the case. Why? Has the case been sealed? If so, why? “A public statement from DEEP regarding this public safety matter would help resolve confusion and enable us to better communicate with our constituents,” the legislators wrote.

Mystery Portrait Gifted to President Trump By Vladimir Putin REVEALED

Back in March, President Trump was gifted a mysterious portrait by Russian President Vladimir Putin. At the time, the painting was not revealed to the public. However, Trump envoy Steve Witkoff told Tucker Carlson during an interview that it was a “beautiful portrait” and President Trump was “clearly touched by it.” Now, the artist who painted the portrait has finally revealed what it looks like… The portrait features President Trump defiantly raising his fist in the iconic moment after he survived an assassination attempt on his life last July in Butler, PA. The artist, Nikas Safronov, who is a famous artist in Russia, said of the painting, “It was important to me to show the blood, the scar and his bravery during the attempt on his life. He didn’t break down or become afraid, but raised his arm to show he is one with America and will bring back what it deserves.” You have to see it for yourself: Wow. The portrait gifted to President Trump by Putin has just been revealed. He said he hoped it would be a way to bring the United States and Russia closer. He didn’t break down or become afraid, but raised his arm to show he is one with America and will bring back what it deserves,” the artist told CNN in Moscow. Safronov is no stranger to portraits of world leaders, having painted dozens of global figures including the late Pope Francis, India’s President Narendra Modi and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. For his Trump portrait, Safronov said, he was “visited by some people who said they want me to paint Trump as I see him.” He did not initially know who his “visitors” were, he added, explaining that as a prominent artist, “there are clients who do not go into details” – but he suspected it was the Kremlin. “When I started the portrait, I realized this could bring our countries closer, and decided not to charge any money because I suspected what this painting was for,” the artist said. The Daily Beast added: A Russian artist has unveiled the mystery painting President Vladimir Putin gifted President Donald Trump back in March. Showcasing the artwork to CNN in Moscow Tuesday, artist Nikas Safronov explained that the Kremlin-commissioned portrait captures the real-life image of Trump raising his fist in the air after the failed assassination attempt at a Butler, Pennsylvania rally in July 2024. “It was important to me to show the blood, the scar and his bravery during the attempt on his life. He didn’t break down or become afraid, but raised his arm to show he is one with America and will bring back what it deserves,” Safronov told CNN. Trump envoy Steve Witkoff confirmed the painting’s receipt in a March interview with Tucker Carlson, where he described it as a “beautiful portrait” that the president was “clearly touched” by. “President Putin had commissioned a beautiful portrait of President Trump from the leading Russian artist and actually gave it to me and asked me to take it home to President Trump which I brought home and delivered to him,” Witkoff said. “It was such a gracious moment.” Safronov anticipated that the painting could embolden diplomatic relations, telling CNN, “When I started the portrait, I realized this could bring our countries closer, and decided not to charge any money because I suspected what this painting was for.” What is your opinion?

RFK Jr. Reveals Crisis “20 Times Worse Than COVID” For America’s Future

Today, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. revealed an epidemic that is plaguing our nation. He called it “20 times worse than COVID.” Can you guess what it is?.. If you guessed the autism crisis, you’d be correct. Over the past five decades or so, autism has risen from affecting 1 in 10,000 kids to 1 in 31. That’s insane. Speaking to Fox News’ Jesse Waters, RFK Jr. rightfully called autism a “crisis — 20 times worse than COVD in terms of economic, social, and moral impact. It affects our capacity to lead the world.” Watch for yourself here: SEC. Kennedy states that the autism crisis is “20 times worse than COVID” for America’s future. The rising rate from 1 in 10,000 kids in 1970 to 1 in 31 today, with 1 in 20 boys affected. In California, it’s 1 in 12 boys. KENNEDY: AUTISM CRISIS IS “20 TIMES WORSE THAN COVID” FOR AMERICA’S FUTURE “Why would people not want to know the cause of autism? In 1970, it was 1 in 10,000 kids. KENNEDY: AUTISM CRISIS IS “20 TIMES WORSE THAN COVID” FOR AMERICA’S FUTURE “Why would people not want to know the cause of autism? In 1970, it was 1 in 10,000 kids. Today, it’s 1 in 31—and 1 in 20 boys. In California, it’s 1 in 12 boys. This is a crisis—20 times worse than COVID in terms of economic, social, and moral impact. It affects our capacity to lead the world.” This isn’t the first time that RFK Jr. claimed that the COVID pandemic pales in comparison to the autism epidemic impacting our nation. Two days ago, Kennedy told a radio show that the autism crisis “dwarfs the COVID epidemic.” Per The New York Post: Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr is declaring a war on autism — claiming the neurodevelopmental condition is an epidemic that’s far worse than the deadly COVID-19 outbreak. “This is an epidemic. It dwarfs the COVID epidemic and the impacts on our country because COVID killed old people,” Kennedy said Sunday on “The Cats Roundtable” radio show on WABC 770 AM. “Autism affects children and affects them at the beginning of their lives, the beginning of their productivity,” the 71-year-old told host John Catsimatidis. One in every 31 Americans is now diagnosed, Kennedy added, insisting that the economic cost of autism will skyrocket to $1 trillion a year by 2035. “About 26% of them have no capacity [to live independently]. And the indications are they never will,” the HHS secretary said. “We’re taking kids that should be healthy, that should be contributing to society … that should be … reaching their potential … and we’re injuring them very early in life. It’s an epidemic,” he said. Independent added: Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr doubled down on his claim that autism is worse than Covid-19, which has killed more than 7 million people worldwide. Just two days after he underscored in a previous statement that autism is worse than Covid because the virus killed “old people,” Kennedy appeared Tuesday night on Fox News and insisted that autism is “20 times worse than Covid-19, in terms of the economic impact, the social impact, the moral impact on our country.” Earlier this month, Kennedy vowed to uncover the root cause behind the “epidemic” and announced a “massive testing and research effort.” Scientists have been working to determine the possible cause or causes of autism, beyond a genetic link, for a century. Now the health secretary has promised to have an answer by September. “There was a wave of anger against me because I announced that we’re going to find the cause of autism,” Kennedy told Fox News’ Jesse Watters. “This is something that President Trump told me on day one: ‘I want to know what’s causing it within a year.’ And I announced how we’re going to do that.” Two days earlier he claimed autism “dwarfs the Covid epidemic and the impacts on our country because Covid killed old people.” What do you think?

‘The Office’ Star RIPS MSNBC Host When She Blames Trump & Musk For Distrust in Media

American’s trust in mass media is at an all-time low as we speak, with only 31% saying that they have a “fair amount” or “great deal” of confidence in the what the news tells them. In a recent episode of her podcast Soul Boom, MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle had the audacity to blame President Trump and Elon Musk for the plunge in media trust. However, Ruhle’s guest on the episode, actor Rainn Wilson — who is best known for playing the character Dwight on The Office — wasn’t having it. He pushed back against Ruhle, pointing out how “left-leaning news media organizations” ignored huge problems like immigration and the economy during Biden’s administration. Watch here: WHOA: Rainn Wilson SLAMS the left-wing news media right to Stephanie Ruhle’s FACE: “We’re kind of like, la la la la la! Everything’s fine! The economy is great! La la la! Immigration’s not that much of a problem!” “Cleopatra! Queen of denial! Thank you! Wilson: “40% of Americans don’t trust mainstream media. Why is that? How did we get here?” Ruhle: “Trump won and tons of people were shocked or angry or frustrated and they’re tuning out. At the same time, you have the Elon Musk media machine because they want you to leave traditional media and they want you to go to X.” Wilson: “This is where I would push back… left-leaning news media organizations were kind of like, ‘La, la, la, la, la, Everything’s fine… look, the economy’s great. La, la, la. Immigration’s not that much of a problem,’ and really, being Cleopatra, Queen of Denial.” Fox News commented: “The Office” star Rainn Wilson pushed back on MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle for suggesting that President Donald Trump’s win and Elon Musk’s “media machine” were to blame for overall distrust in the press. “President Trump won and tons of people were shocked or angry or frustrated and they’re tuning out, and at the same time, you have the Elon Musk media machine, because they want you to leave traditional media, they want you to go to X, which is a bastion of misinformation,” Ruhle said during an appearance on Wilson’s “Soul Boom” podcast released on April 17. “What we need to do is just cover what’s happening in America, right? We have to cover Democrats trying to figure out what their lane is and how they’re going to get back on their feet, and we have to simply cover what this White House is doing.” However, Wilson suggested there was a lack of interest among left-leaning media to aggressively cover problems during the Biden administration. “This is where I would push back, when I see this kind of insight and passion being directed at the current administration and the lack of this kind of insight and passion being directed at the previous administration, where again, I’m not talking about you, I’m talking about left-leaning news media organizations were kind of like, ‘La la la la, everything’s fine,’” Wilson told Ruhle in a clip flagged by The Daily Caller. “‘Look, the economy is great, la la la, immigration’s not that much of a problem,’ and really being Cleopatra, ‘queen of denial.’ Thank you. Boom,” he said, imitating left-leaning media. Wilson’s response is hilarious and spot-on, for many reasons. For one, Stephanie Ruhle is a big part of the problem. She admitted in December that Biden’s handlers tried to shut down her interview with Joe over a question about Hunter. The Daily Caller noted: Former NBC News chief political analyst Chuck Todd said on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” on April 9 that legacy media members withheld blatant coverage of Biden’s age-related problem to avoid the appearance of “helping Trump.” Ruhle publicly disclosed for the first time in December that Biden’s team attempted to shut down an interview over her question about how a possible indictment of his son Hunter would affect his presidency. She also defended former Vice President Kamala Harris in September for her failure to provide detailed answers on policy queries. Ruhle cited the “threat” that she claimed Trump posed to democracy. The fact that Rainn Wilson called her, and the rest of the left-wind media, out, to her face, is just epic. Now, keep in mind that Rainn Wilson is not a Trump supporter himself. But, even liberals can see how the mainstream media dug their own grave over the previous administration. It’s just simple common sense. What do you think?

FOIA Requests: RFK Jr. Vows to Fix HHS Records Backlog

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says public records will start flowing again. He blamed DOGE cuts for slowing down Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. But now things will get back rolling. Also, there’s a new website is currently in the works. This is helping him to keep his pledge to make sure the Department of Health & Human Services is transparent. Daily Caller reports: Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pledged at a press conference Tuesday to restore the production of federal records. Those records, requested by members of the public, were said to be slowed by Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cuts. Kennedy also said he will create a new website for HHS documents. Kennedy said he would seek to publish a greater number of documents requested under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) — a 1967 law that allows members of the public to obtain government records with some limited exceptions such as information pertaining to national security and trade secrets. The new landing page could include records requested and released previously but unavailable on the HHS website. HHS currently hosts an online reading room for some records, but it does not serve as a repository of every document released under a FOIA request. In a department-wide restructuring guided by DOGE and initiated by HHS on March 27, several disparate FOIA offices were consolidated into one, squeezing the department’s capacity to handle requests. The elimination of FOIA offices appeared to cut against Kennedy’s pledges of “radical transparency” and his pre-government track record of FOIA litigation to unearth records from HHS. DCNF Investigative reporter @emilyakopp: “When will HHS FOIA offices be restored?” RFK: “We are restoring all the FOIA offices…. And we’re going to try to get as close as we can to total transparency.” pic.twitter.com/FIqLVvLG4I — Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) April 22, 2025 Transparency is coming. The exact opposite of what the Establishment wants. They thrive in the dark, behind closed doors. In fact, the goal is so much transparency that the FOIA isn’t even needed. RFK Jr addressing HHS and going over his main goals of restoring trust in the department “We will shut the Revolving Door to establish public trust We will make our data and our policy process so transparent that people won’t even have to file a FOIA request” @RobertKennedyJr pic.twitter.com/ck0CV3Qp8B — SwampyUniparty (@SwampyUniparty) February 18, 2025

Major Yogurt Company To Invest $1.2 BILLION In New York Factory — Will Create Over 1,000 Jobs

Major yogurt company Chobani just announced plans to invest a whopping $1.2 billion in their next factory, which will be located in Rome, New York. It’s an ambitious plan that will create over one thousand jobs for New Yorkers. This will nearly double Chobani’s workforce in the whole state. The new plant will make around one billion pounds of dairy products per year, making it the largest dairy factory in the United States. This is excellent. Just as President Trump predicted, companies are flocking to the United States! Elise Stefanik (@RepStefanik) April 22, 2025 Per Syracuse.com: Greek yogurt giant Chobani plans to build a $1.2 billion production facility that would bring more than 1,000 jobs to Rome’s Griffiss Business and Technology Park, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Tuesday. The project in the former Air Force base 50 miles east of Syracuse represents the nation’s largest investment ever in a natural food production facility and promises to cement New York as the No. 1 yogurt producer in the country, Hochul said in a prepared statement. “Chobani has been a major employer in the Mohawk Valley for decades, and this massive new $1.2 billion investment will bring more than 1,000 good-paying jobs to Oneida County — the largest natural food manufacturing investment in American history,” Hochul said. State officials said Chobani founder and CEO Hamdi Ulukaya chose the site in Rome after a nationwide search. “New York is where Chobani’s journey began,” Ulukaya, a Turkish immigrant, said in a statement. “It was the perfect spot to start Chobani 20 years ago, and it’s the perfect place to continue our story.” By creating more than 1,000 jobs, the project would nearly double Chobani’s total New York workforce. The company employs 1,100 people in South Edmeston and Norwich in Chenango County. Chobani also employs 1,100 people at a yogurt plant in Twin Falls, Idaho. In March, it announced plans to build a $500 million expansion in Twin Falls that is expected to create a minimum of 160 new jobs. Once complete, the 1.4 million-square-foot plant in Rome will have up to 28 production lines with a capacity to process over 12 million pounds of milk a day and produce more than 1 billion pounds of yogurt and other dairy products a year. Forbes added: Chobani’s billionaire founder is going all-in on being American-made. CEO Hamdi Ulukaya broke ground this week on a new state-of-the-art facility in upstate New York that will produce one billion pounds of Chobani’s yogurts, creamers and other products. Ulukaya says he will invest $1.2 billion in all, and the plan comes just a month after he also revealed he is spending $500 million to expand Chobani’s plant in Idaho—and he says this is just the start. “A lot of good food hasn’t been made accessible to all,” Ulukaya, 52, tells Forbes of the expansion. “And if you figure out how to make it accessible to all, the hardest part is how do you make sure that you actually have the manufacturing capability to do it.” “We do everything in-house,” he continues. “A hundred percent of the products we make. It’s hard to do because that means plants.” As America’s top-selling yogurt brand with $3 billion (annual revenue) and yogurt sales up 20% last year, Chobani is in a position most food companies would envy. Chobani, which acquired La Colombe coffee for $900 million in 2023, is one of the largest independent and privately held brands in the consumer packaged goods industry. And it’s made Ulukaya, an immigrant from Turkey who owns the majority of the business, worth an estimated $2.4 billion. Now Ulukaya is using his clout to double down on the Northeast at a time when the region has faced an exodus of dairy farmers. Chobani and the New York governor’s office are calling the investment the nation’s largest in natural food manufacturing. The new plant will be financed through Chobani’s cash on hand. A Chobani spokesperson said “These projects are multi-year projects that do not require the company to take on any additional debt at this time.” In addition, incentives from New York state include $73 million in tax credits over ten years and $22 million from an economic development shovel-ready grant program, Fast NY. The new facility will be designed to process up to 12 million pounds of milk each day, which means Chobani, already New York’s largest milk purchaser, will increase its spend by an estimated 6 billion pounds annually. That will be huge boon for the surviving dairy farmers in the region, many of whom have struggled as volatile prices and industry consolidation have driven many farms out of business, while major competitors like Danone have cut contracts or left the region entirely. “Our region has really unique challenges,” says Gary Hirshberg, the founder of Stonyfield Organics, citing the Northeast’s higher costs for energy as well as feed for dairy cows. “Investment is badly needed. We’ve lost a lot of the dairy infrastructure. So any significant investment in upstate New York dairy, it’s only a good thing.”

130 Days of DOGE: Musk Says He’s Scaling Back Soon

Elon Musk told Tesla shareholders he’s stepping back from government work. With his current special government employee (SGE) status, regulations state that he’s only allowed 130 consecutive days. Though he says the heavy lifting for President Trump’s cost-cutting is done. Starting in May, he’ll shift away from DOGE to focus back to Tesla. Then maybe the liberals will stop attacking his cars? Someone really needs to let them know about all the cameras on them. Elon Musk tells Tesla shareholders he’ll start cutting back on DOGE work next month https://t.co/DDbCRO1vfc pic.twitter.com/TH1RlKMrdi — New York Post (@nypost) April 23, 2025 New York Post reports: Department of Government Efficiency chief Elon Musk told Tesla shareholders on Tuesday that he’s planning to dramatically cut back on his work for the Trump administration next month. “Starting next month, I will be allocating far more of my time to Tesla,” the electric car company CEO said on Tesla earnings call, according to Business Insider. Musk noted that “the major work of establishing” DOGE has been completed and that his “time allocation” to President Trump’s government cost-cutting initiative “will drop significantly” come May. The billionaire tech tycoon, 53, indicated he’s interested in continuing to spend a day or two a week on government matters, “as long as it is useful,” and Trump is amenable to the idea. Musk was already widely expected to leave his post as the unofficial head of DOGE at the end of May, when his special government employee (SGE) status expires. Per federal regulations, SGEs can only work in government for 130 consecutive days — pegging May 30 as the Tesla, SpaceX and Starlink CEO’s last day as DOGE chief. Earlier this month, Trump told reporters that he wants Musk to be a part of his administration for “as long as possible” but acknowledged that the world’s richest man may want to spend more time on his business endeavors. Grok chimes in: Yes, it seems likely Elon Musk is stepping back from his role as a special government employee leading DOGE. Reports indicate he will step down on May 30, 2025, at the end of his 130-day term, which started January 20, 2025. While there were conflicting reports in early April… — Grok (@grok) April 23, 2025 If only DOGE would stop exposing fraud, then maybe these liberals would be happy: BREAKING: Eco cultists spray-paint anti-DOGE and anti-Elon slogans on the windows of a Tesla showroom in NYC. Nothing says “saving the planet” like using toxic spray paint that’ll need chemical removers to clean up. pic.twitter.com/cg5QNxaR5w — I Meme Therefore I Am (@ImMeme0) April 22, 2025
