While President Donald Trump criticized Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show, Democrats celebrated it, and ridiculed Turning Point USA’s alternative performance. Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, whose stage name is Bad Bunny, made headlines at Sunday’s show by performing mostly in Spanish, celebrating his Puerto Rican heritage, and using songs with sexually explicit lyrics. President Trump said “nobody understands a word this guy is saying,” and he criticized the dancing as inappropriate for young children. Turning Point USA announced an alternate Super Bowl halftime show in October, a development growing out of conservative disgust at previous halftime shows. “When you have the most televised event for the entire year, that should be a reflection of the virtue that hopefully you want society to embody,” Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk says in a video the organization released before the show. Discord, a popular instant messaging and social platform, announced on Monday that it will roll out age verification technology as “age-appropriate protections” on the platform. “Discord is announcing enhanced teen safety features rolling out globally that reinforce its long-standing commitment to creating a safer and more inclusive experience for users over the age of 13,” Discord stated. “As part of this update, all new and existing users worldwide will have a teen-appropriate experience by default, with updated communication settings, restricted access to age-gated spaces, and content filtering that preserves the privacy and meaningful connections that define Discord,” it continued. The platform will require users to undergo a facial age estimation or submit an ID to its vendor partners to complete age verification. Discord notes that some users may be asked to use multiple methods when additional information is needed to assign an age group. The facial age estimation requires video selfies, which Discord says never leave your device. Additionally, the company says IDs submitted to its vendor partners are deleted quickly and, in most cases, immediately after age confirmation. It’s worth noting that Discord disclosed last October that around 70,000 users may have had sensitive data, such as their government ID photos, exposed after hackers breached a third-party vendor that the platform uses for age-related appeals. The breach reflected digital rights activists’ concerns over the use of age checks as a way to make the internet “safer.” Discord’s global launch of age verification follows the company’s decision to establish age checks for users in the U.K. and Australia last year. “Nowhere is our safety work more important than when it comes to teen users, which is why we are announcing these updates in time for Safer Internet Day. Rolling out teen-by-default settings globally builds on Discord’s existing safety architecture, giving teens strong protections while allowing verified adults flexibility,” said Discord Head of Product Policy Savannah Badalich. “We design our products with teen safety principles at the core and will continue working with safety experts, policymakers, and Discord users to support meaningful, long term wellbeing for teens on the platform,” Badalich added. “We’re also launching recruitment for Discord’s first Teen Council, creating a space for teen voices to help shape our safety and wellbeing work. She adds, “We’re not doing biometric scanning [or] facial recognition. We’re doing facial estimation. The ID is immediately deleted. We do not keep any information around like your name, the city that you live in, if you used a birth certificate or something else, any of that information.” However, some users may not have to go through either form of age verification. Discord is also rolling out an age inference model that analyzes metadata like the types of games a user plays, their activity on Discord, and behavioral signals like signs of working hours or the amount of time they spend on Discord. “If we have a high confidence that they are an adult, they will not have to go through the other age verification flows,” Badalich says. She goes on to explain that the addition of age assurance will mainly impact adult content: “A majority of people on Discord are not necessarily looking at explicit or graphic content. When we say that, we’re really talking about things that are truly adult content [and] age inappropriate for a teen. So, the way that it will work is a majority of people are not going to see a change in their experience.” Even so, there’s still a risk that some users will leave Discord as a result of the age verification rollout. “We do expect that there will be some sort of hit there, and we are incorporating that into what our planning looks like,” Badalich says. “We’ll find other ways to bring users back.”

After doing this for 10+ years, I have connected a lot of dots and noticed a lot of patterns… And two patterns have proven to be true without fail, so much so that I’ve adopted them into Rules to look out for. It’s how we’re often so early to stories and how even when it looks crazy early on our reporting almost always ends up being validated as true later on.  It’s happened over and over and over. And those two Rules are as follows: Rule #1: when the entire MSM machine fires up and suddenly starts pushing the same narrative very aggressively in lockstep with each other, you can take it to the bank that not only is that narrative FALSE but also likely very harmful to you. Rule #2: when the MSM “fact-checkers” and censorship machine fires up into overdrive to suddenly try to debunk or censor some topic, you can bet the house that whatever that topic happens to be is directly over the target.   When you learn these two Rules and start to apply them to what you see and observe on a daily basis, it really does become quite easy to understand what’s truly going on in the world. In fact, I was just telling someone the other day that’s how we knew about COVID so early. If you recall, the “MSM” did not start talking about COVID until about February of 2020.  Total media blackout before then. But we knew about it way back in October/November of the prior year. Why? How? Easy. Because the Internet knew about COVID in China back in October/November and people started going on YouTube to talk about it — and they instantly started getting their videos deleted and accounts shut down. Dead giveaway! So everyone in the community (yours truly included) knew instantly that we were right over the target and there was something very, very wrong here! I didn’t know all the details at that point but I knew this — whatever was coming when the official narrative rolled out was going to be a lie and it was going to be very bad for everyone!  Re-read Rule #1. So from the very beginning I started telling you COVID is NOT what they’re telling you.  It’s not this dangerous disease that’s going to kill us all.  Masks are ridiculous.  Social-distancing is a scam.  6 feet away is a scam.  The fact that you had to wear a mask when you walked to your dinner table at a restaurant but then could take it off when you sat down to eat was obviously a scam… And we told you under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you take that poison vaccine. We were right on all of it! Not because I’m some sort of genius, but only because I see and apply Rules #1 and #2. Simple! Now flash-forward to today and we just got a CLASSIC instance of Rule #2 firing off again. A few days ago, I brought you this Patriot Spotlight featuring Jan James and her incredible life story: PATRIOT SPOTLIGHT: Meet Jan James! I knew Jan’s story was a bit “hot” but I tested putting it up on YouTube anyway. Sometimes that’s the only way to get a good test of Rules #1 and #2 — you have to put some stuff out there and see what happens. Well, sure enough we got an instant triggering of Rule #2, which should tell everyone that we are DIRECTLY over the target with what we were talking about. Curious to know what the topic was? What is so dangerous that YouTube had to instantly shut it down and make sure you never heard it? I’m happy to oblige! We were talking about those super dangerous things called…..Apricot Seeds. You know, when God said use them for food to nourish and protect our bodies? Genesis 1:29 – Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.” Oh those dangerous Apricot seeds! I can almost hear the ssssssslithering sssssnakes at YouTube saying: “Did Got REALLY say you should eat them?  Ssssssurely God did not sssssay that!” But he did. And we’re talking about it. And it turns out that as God would have created it, by thousands upon thousands of first-hand testimonies dating back to the 1970s and before that even into the late 1800s, there is widespread evidence that Apricot seeds contain something called Vitamin B17/Laetrile/Amygdalin and that this substance targets and kills Cancer cells while leaving regular cells untouched. Look, I’m not claiming this is a Cancer Cure and I’ll give you my standard FDA disclaimer right here: But I am saying there are thousands upon thousands of documented cases all showing the incredible cancer-killing properties of the humble Apricot seed and as long as this is still America I believe these people have the right to tell their stories! And I also believe that you have the right to hear them! So that’s what we’ll continue to do around here. But YouTube is NOT happy about it and instantly deleted my video where I interviewed Jan James for her Patriot Spotlight calling it DANGEROUS content that “poses a serious risk of egregious harm”: Oh my! Yes, those fruit seeds are so dangerous, I can’t believe God was so foolish and reckless to put them right into the fruits!  What was he thinking!? And then he literally told us in Genesis 1:29 to eat them! GOD IS DANGEROUS! Of course I am being facetious, but I also firmly believe that the demons over at YouTube would literally censor and ban God if they could just figure out how to do it! If YouTube was around back when Jesus was walking the Earth, you can take it to the bank that YouTube would have deleted his Sermon on the Mount video for being DANGEROUS content that “poses a serious risk of egregious harm”! I’m not joking! And I have to admit that in one sense YouTube is not wrong….this content DOES pose “serious risk of egregious harm”.  They’re telling the truth about that.  But it’s not harm to you or me, it’s harm to Big Pharma and Big Cancer and Big Medicine!  These are trillion-dollar monsters that would be seriously and egregiously harmed if it were true that Apricot seeds can treat and reverse cancer…. The damage to those institutions would definitely be “egregious harm” no doubt.  So credit to YouTube, they are actually telling the truth in their own special little way. And now for a little fun, here is the Orwellian 1984-style reprogramming “quiz” they make you take to reprogram you into being a good little sheep going forward.  Just push the MSM-narrative, protect Big Pharma and Big Medicine, and all will be ok. I especially liked Question 3 which says if you’ve been damaged by a vaccine you are NOT allowed to tell your story on YouTube!  Yes, of course we certainly can’t have that! They make you answer whether or not this would be a violation of those all-important YouTube standards, to which I replied of course “No, it isn’t”: I guess my re-education and re-programming is not working very well… But all kidding aside, there’s a serious point to be made here, and that is who appointed YouTube as the final arbiter of truth? Because truth be told, they have gotten in wrong many times in the past. They were wrong about COVID… Wrong about the jabs… Wrong about so many other things, and all the people who were wrongly censored and deleted and banned during those times for telling the truth paid the price — and apologizing years later and altering your policy later on does not fix all the censorship that was done for all those years. Like this one… Even in their reprogramming propaganda, Question #7 underscores this very point. It demonizes “Chelation therapy” for treating Autism, but what did we just get recently from RFK Jr?  The FDA opening up new Autism treatments that were previously banned and labeled as unsafe. How about this….how about we just let people speak freely and let the marketplace and the science labs sort it all out?  True science labs. The Justice Department is seeking the dismissal of the indictment against Steve Bannon on contempt charges. He served a four-month sentence in federal prison in 2024. The case was heading toward the Supreme Court, but the new motion makes it appear the Department of Justice wants to end the case without a review from the high court. No career prosecutor was attached to the unopposed motion. Under the Biden administration, Bannon failed to appeal his conviction of criminal contempt of Congress on numerous occasions. The appeal went before the Supreme Court, which rejected his bid at the time. In October, Bannon asked the Supreme Court to consider overturning his conviction even after he served his sentence. The appeal would have sought to clear the defendant’s conviction from his record. “Pursuant to Fed. R. Crim. P. 48(a), the United States of America, by and through the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, respectfully moves this Court to dismiss with prejudice the above captioned case against Defendant Stephen K. Bannon,” the court document read. “The government has determined in its prosecutorial discretion that dismissal of this criminal case is in the interests of justice. New Hampshire lawmakers are reversing a decision made in the emotional aftermath of the Parkland school shooting, advancing legislation that would prevent public colleges from banning lawful weapons on campus — a move Republicans argue restores constitutional rights unfairly stripped from young adults. On Thursday, the New Hampshire House voted 188–165 to advance House Bill 1793. The legislation would prohibit publicly funded colleges and universities from restricting the lawful possession or use of weapons, including firearms and non-lethal self-defense tools such as tasers and pepper spray. The bill will now be reviewed for any fiscal impact before moving to the Senate. The vote marks a sharp departure from 2018, when a bipartisan coalition rejected a campus carry proposal amid heightened national concern over gun violence following the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. State Representative Sam Farrington (R–NH), who is also a current University of New Hampshire student, led the charge and framed the issue as one of equal protection and fundamental rights. Farrington argued that the right to self-defense does not disappear simply because someone steps onto a college campus. “College students are adults,” Farrington said during the debate. “They are entitled to the same protections under the law as every other citizen in New Hampshire.” New Hampshire allows both open and concealed carry without a permit, but has historically left decisions about campus weapon policies to individual institutions. The bill passed on Thursday would remove that discretion for public colleges, ensuring legality as expansive as the broader state itself. Representative Farrington rejected arguments that college students are uniquely unfit to exercise their Second Amendment rights, noting that many are already trusted with the most serious of civic responsibilities. “If we’re told students are too immature or irresponsible to carry a firearm,” he said, “how do we justify allowing them to vote — or to fight and die in foreign wars?” Democrats warned that allowing weapons on campuses would make students and faculty less safe, particularly in close quarters like dormitories and classrooms. Representative David Meuse (D–NH) argued that campus carry restrictions are location-based, not age-based, and apply equally to students, staff, and visitors. “These rules aren’t about who you are,” Meuse said. “They’re about where you are.” Republicans countered that such reasoning creates gun-free zones that leave law-abiding citizens defenseless while doing nothing to deter criminals. Farrington emphasized that self-defense is not a government-granted privilege, but a natural right. “Natural rights are not given by governments,” he said. “They are granted by God alone.” Supporters of the bill also pointed to evidence from other states. There are currently 11 states that allow campus carry, and Republicans argued that dire predictions of increased violence have not materialized. Representative Jennifer Rhodes (R-NH) dismissed claims that the policy would make campuses more dangerous, saying states that have adopted campus carry have seen no corresponding rise in violent crime. If approved by the Senate, which favors the GOP 16-8, the legislation would mark a decisive reversal from New Hampshire’s post-Parkland hesitation on campus carry, and a clear statement from Republican lawmakers that constitutional rights follow citizens wherever they lawfully go, including public college campuses.

A Super Bowl commercial that features Amazon’s Ring doorbell camera triggered tremendous backlash online, with many viewers worrying that it glorifies mass surveillance. The “Be A Hero In Your Neighborhood” ad begins with a video of a young girl reunited with her dog before jumping to a fictionalized preview of when her family pet went missing. Ring founder Jamie Siminoff explains during the ad that 10 million dogs go missing every year. The clip then cuts into a montage featuring missing dog posters stapled to telephone poles. The commercial then shows the family using “Search Party” from Ring, which “uses AI to help families find lost dogs.” “Since launch, more than a dog a day has been reunited with their family,” Siminoff continues as a neighborhood of Ring doorbell cameras scans and analyzes the dogs wandering by. “Be a hero in your neighborhood with Search Party. Available to everyone, for free, right now.” Social media users quickly noted the possible downside of all doorbell cameras being used for surveillance.  “This [Ring] camera commercial played at #SuperBowl is something out of a dystopian thriller. Who would ever install these cameras after this? CREEPY AF!” one person replied.  “Y’all, this Ring Doorbell Camera commercial was creepy as can be. They are not even hiding it anymore,” another commenter wrote. A third commenter echoed, “Ring search party is terrifying and what’s most terrifying is that we opted into this like f**king idiots.” “This is a huge problem disguised as a solution,” one of the YouTube comments says. Others pointed out how surveillance is already happening everywhere, and that users could easily opt out of the “Search Party” feature. Others dismissed the commercial as harmless. “The ring doorbell commercial about finding lost dogs is by far the best part of this entire Super Bowl.
