They add that “‘Fortune’s Fate‘ is a song of yearning and escape, one that embodies the quest for freedom and self-discovery.” Die About It Deluxe Edition 9/19 Bad Wolves: Die About It Deluxe Edition The package contains nine new tracks, including a re-worked version of “Say It Again” featuring Lauri Ylönen from The Rasmus. “This song has always meant a lot to me — I’ve always loved it — but I never expected it to evolve the way it did with The Rasmus,” noted Bad Wolves founder/drummer John Boecklin. “In my opinion, it’s some of the best lyricism on the album, and I’m really glad it’s finally getting the spotlight it deserves. Beat: Live! 9/26 Beat: Live! King Crimson members Adrian Belew and Tony Levin along with guitar virtuoso Steve Vai and Tool drummer Danny Carey are Beat. Shine Apple 9/26 Mother Love Bone: Shine & Apple The “Shine” EP originally released in ’89 and seminal the ’90 full-length debut “Apple” are reissued. Mother Love Bone formed in ’87 and made it to ’90. Frontman Andrew Wood’s charisma and songwriting helped to catapult the group to the top of the burgeoning Seattle music scene. Days before “Apple” was slated to be released, Wood overdosed on heroin ending the group. Guitarist Stone Gossard and bassist Jeff Ament went on to form Pearl Jam. Triumph will be among the songwriters joining the Canadian Songwriters Hall Of Fame this fall. “This year’s Legends embody the values that define Canadian songwriting: artistic courage, cultural contribution, and storytelling,” said Nick Fedor, executive director, Canadian Songwriters Hall Of Fame. “It’s a national stage for celebrating legacy, inspiring the next generation, and elevating the role of the songwriter in our cultural identity.” The Legends honors began in ’23. This year’s celebrations will take place at the Meridian Arts Centre in Toronto on October 17th and Espace St-Denis in Montreal on November 17th.
