I've studied more than 5,000 near death experiences. My research has convinced me without a doubt that there's life after death.

Thirty-seven years ago I was an oncologist resident, learning about how best to treat cancer using radiation. One day, I was flipping through a large volume of the Journal of the American Medical Association when I came across an article describing near-death experiences. It stopped me in my tracks. All my medical training told me you were either alive or dead. There was no in-between. But suddenly, I was reading from a cardiologist describing patients who had died and then came back to life, reporting very distinct, almost unbelievable experiences. When I finished my residency, I started the Near-Death Experience Research Foundation. I started collecting stories from people who had NDEs and evaluating them with the mind of a scientist and doctor. But in the face of overwhelming evidence, I've come to believe there's certainly an afterlife. No two NDEs are the same. But as I studied thousands of them, I saw a consistent pattern of events emerging in a predictable order. About 45% of people who have an NDE report an out-of-body experience. When this happens, their consciousness separates from their physical body, usually hovering above the body. I'm a medical doctor. I've read brain research and considered every possible explanation for NDEs. The bottom line is that none of them hold water. There isn't even a remotely plausible physical explanation for this phenomenon. And yet, my work with NDEs has made me a more compassionate and loving doctor. I came back to life after being zipped up in a body bag for 45 minutes. I'm no longer afraid of dying.

I came back to life after being zipped up in a body bag for 45 minutes. I'm no longer afraid of dying.

The world began to spin. I collapsed ... and I watched, calmly, as paramedics rushed into the bathroom and worked over the body. I describe it as "the" body because I didn't recognize myself at first. It looked like a fake dead body. I watched as emergency services tried to resuscitate the man, but shortly after, they stopped and gave up. They zipped him up in a bright yellow body bag and carried him into the back of an ambulance. About 45 minutes into the journey to the hospital, a medic who was on his first week on the job decided to try to feel for a pulse one more time. After several minutes of checking, and re-checking, the medic later said he felt a faint pulse. I was in a coma for three days, officially declared brain dead by the doctors. They told my family that I had little chance of survival. But in those three days, I believe I traveled to "the other side." I was met with feelings of love and saw divine beauty. But I knew, deep down inside that it was not my time yet. So three days later, I opened my eyes in the hospital. Physically, I was completely fine. I was even described as a "miracle" by my neurologist. Although I was raised in a religious family, I was never a big believer. But I came back from my near-death experience with a deeper understanding of what our purpose is on earth. I try to live every day with a sense of gratitude and happiness. I know life is here to teach us many lessons. Also, I am no longer afraid of death. Note: Explore more positive stories like this on near-death experiences. - Business Insider

‘The public has been lied to’: secretly made documentary insists that aliens exist

Director Dan Farah grew up with aliens. His documentary debut – The Age of Disclosure. Here, Farah makes the case that the United States has been hiding, for decades, a fount of information related to UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena) – the acronym rebrand of the stigma-ridden UFO. Making a point to “only interview people who have direct knowledge” of these programs from working within the US government was a north star for Farah. One of his early commitments came from Jay Stratton, a defense official who helped start AATIP. Stratton had an established career investigating UAP and non-human intelligence life on behalf of the government, and was responsible for briefing senior lawmakers in Congress and the White House. “I have seen with my own eyes non-human craft and non-human beings,” he says plainly. After Stratton agreed to “break his silence” it ... convinced others to come forward. When the current secretary of state, Marco Rubio, agreed to take part. “Then next thing you know, General Jim Clapper was participating,” Farah said of the former director of national intelligence under Barack Obama, who sat for an interview. The geopolitical arms race to reverse-engineer UAP technology is, Farah came to see, one of the biggest reasons behind the alleged cover-up. “You can’t tell your friends without telling your enemies,” Farah says. “Here we are now where the people who run our country are not aware of the facts.” Note: Our 26-minute video UFO Disclosure: Breakthrough Technology and Awakening Human Consciousness features interviews with leading experts along with well-sourced, verifiable information to help you make sense of this fascinating issue and its immense potential to transform our world. The Truth Physics Can No Longer Ignore

Physics students learn about the basic stuff of reality—space and time, energy and matter—and are told that all other scientific disciplines must reduce back down to the fundamental particles and laws that physics has generated. This philosophy, called “reductionism,” worked pretty well from Newton’s laws through much of the 20th century as physicists discovered electrons, quarks, the theory of relativity, and so on. But over the past few decades, progress in the most reductionist branches of physics has slowed. Physicists largely ignored living systems. But today, many of my colleagues ... have come to believe that a mystery is unfolding in every microbe, animal, and human—one that challenges basic assumptions physicists have held for centuries, and could answer essential questions about AI. It may even help redefine the field for the next generation. Beginning in the 1980s, physicists ... began developing new mathematical tools to study what’s called “complexity”—systems in which the whole is far more than the sum of its parts. Throughout the current AI boom, researchers and philosophers have debated whether and when large language models might achieve general intelligence or even become conscious. As the 21st century continues to unfold, my fellow physicists will undoubtedly continue to advance the study of black holes, quantum mechanics, and other traditional domains. The study of life, however, will take us to places we’ve never imagined, opening a path for the future of our field that, for once, unfolds on a level playing field with biologists, ecologists, neuroscientists, and sociologists. At its best, the pursuit of fundamental answers about the nature of living things might lead physicists not only to new scientific marvels, but also to an entirely new way of doing science. In New Doc ‘The Age of Disclosure,’ Military Servicemen Expose More Details About UFOs at Vandenberg

Today, Vandenberg is best known for the booming SpaceX launches that send satellites into orbit. But once upon a time, it was a hotbed for UFO sightings. This year, those sightings resurfaced. Details of extraterrestrial encounters on the Central Coast were discussed in government hearings and explored in the newly released documentary The Age of Disclosure (2025). The film features government insiders who claim the feds have spent 80 years trying to cover up the existence of non-human life. Based on what they claim to have seen, the former admirals, lieutenants, and colonels were convinced that UAPs are real and they are definitely not human. Witness testimonies recount highly unusual experiences at Vandenberg, such as a gigantic red, glowing square object that allegedly hovered over the base in 2003. In total, five incidents involving UAPs occurred at Vandenberg between 2003 and 2005, according to Jeffrey Nuccetelli, a former military police officer with 16 years of active service under his belt. He relays it all in detail: a red, glowing square the size of a football field, erratic lights dancing over the ocean or blinking in and out of the skyline, a huge sphere of light floating over his own home, and the intimidation of witnesses to keep their mouths shut. Vandenberg — home to the National Missile Defense Project — was “repeatedly visited by UAP,” back when personnel were completing “historic launches,” Nuccetelli said. JFK oversaw Vietnam decapitation. He didn't live to witness the rest.

American presidents have never been shy about unseating foreign heads of state, by either overt or covert means. But such efforts can backfire. The 1961 attempt to topple Fidel Castro, organized under President Eisenhower and executed under President Kennedy, led to a slaughter of CIA-trained invasion forces at the Bay of Pigs and a triumph for Castro’s communist government. Despite being driven from power by President George W. Bush in retribution for the 9/11 attacks, the Taliban roared back in 2023, again making Afghanistan a haven for terrorist groups. One of the least known but most consequential U.S.-backed coups occurred in 1963, when the Kennedy administration secretly encouraged South Vietnam’s generals to rise up against their authoritarian president, Ngo Dinh Diem. Diem was murdered during the revolt along with his brother Ngo Dinh Nhu, who ran the country’s counterinsurgency program against the communist Viet Cong. Their demise had far-reaching consequences that U.S. officials did not foresee. The Diem coup effectively decapitated the South Vietnamese government, unleashing a host of long-suppressed blocs – military, political, and religious – whose ensuing competition badly destabilized the country. President Trump has decapitated the Venezuelan regime, with consequences yet to be known. While he has pledged to “run” Venezuela, we have few details of how he plans to do that. Guantanamo Prison Enters 25th Year

The U.S. base in Guantánamo Bay, in southeast Cuba, is more than 100 years old and has about 4,200 residents. The prison opened on Jan. 11, 2002, with the arrival of 20 detainees from the war against Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan. Over the years, the U.S. military has held about 780 men and boys there, with the Bush administration repatriating about 500 of them. Today the operation has a staff of 800 soldiers and civilians — more than 50 U.S. government workers for each detainee. In the past year, the Trump administration has used the base as a transit hub for federal prisoners, including about 775 migrants held there for days or weeks. In a secret operation this month, a U.S. military cargo plane brought the deposed Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, to the base on the day of their capture by U.S. forces. The remaining 15 wartime prisoners at Guantánamo, ages 46 to 64, have been held in a single building since last year and are rarely seen by anybody but their guards and lawyers. Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, who is accused of being the mastermind of the Sept. 11 plot, has been there for nearly 20 years and has not yet faced trial. Tens of thousands of troops have served there on temporary deployments. Pete Hegseth, the defense secretary, did so from 2004 to 2005. The last study of the costs of running the prison put the figure at more than $13 million per year for each prisoner in 2019. Note: Read more about the horrors of Guantánamo Bay. Russian UFO files reveal chilling encounters, near-miss nuclear launch

The largest investigation of UFOs in the history of the world ... was launched by the former USSR in the late 1970s. Back in September, Congress heard testimony about once-classified files from the Russian UFO programs, files that fell into the hands ... journalist George Knapp in the 1990s, who brought those files out of Russia and is now making them public, starting with two of the most important documents. Could UFOs ignite an apocalyptic World War? It almost happened in October 1982 at a Russian nuclear missile base in what is now Ukraine. One document contains some of the eyewitness statements collected by a secret Ministry of Defense program. The witnesses were stationed at a missile base near the hamlet of Usovo. They watched in awe as multiple unknown objects flooded the skies, changed shapes and colors, appeared and then disappeared, traveled at high speeds, and stopped mid-air. A few officers made drawings of the different UFO formations seen over a wide area around and over the base. The most dramatic statement was from a senior communications officer who watched in horror as the launch control system for the missiles suddenly lit up and someone, somehow, entered the proper codes that would unleash hell. Nuclear missiles that could reach and obliterate New York City in a mere 25 minutes were ready to launch. And the Russians were powerless to stop it. As soon as the unknown objects over the base vanished, the launch sequence ended. Mysterious 'vehicle of unknown origin' hidden at US Navy Base raises questions about secret UFO program

A mysterious UFO has been allegedly stored at a little-known US Navy base on the East Coast for decades as the military continues to reverse-engineer its secrets. A new report has claimed that Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland, better known as Pax River, has kept an 'exotic vehicle of unknown origin' secretly housed there, possibly since the 1950s. According to anonymous sources tied to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), which is headquartered at Pax River, certain military programs at the base have been involved in analyzing and exploiting technology recovered from non-human craft for years. UFO whistleblower Luis Elizondo stated in written testimony to Congress that a specially built hangar was constructed at Pax River specifically for the transfer of extraterrestrial technology. Under oath, Elizondo described a plan where this hangar would help major defense contractor Lockheed Martin move non-human technology to another company called Bigelow Aerospace for further study and analysis. Last year, Dr Hal Puthoff, a physicist and electrical engineer who worked on the government's psychic spy and UFO research programs, revealed on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast that the US military has recovered more than 10 spacecraft since the infamous Roswell incident. Puthoff claimed that some of these craft were actually fully intact craft that had been 'gifted' to humans by extraterrestrials. At the Center of Trump’s Vision for Rebuilding Ukraine: BlackRock

In mid-December, as negotiations to end Russia’s war in Ukraine gathered pace, a group of Ukrainian officials sat in a conference room in New York for a meeting with senior executives at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager. They had come to discuss a crucial element of a peace plan drafted by Kyiv and Washington: Ukraine’s postwar recovery. BlackRock had been enlisted to help build a strategy for what President Volodymyr Zelensky has called an $800 billion “prosperity plan.” The meeting, held at BlackRock’s headquarters, kick-started work on identifying funding sources and investment priorities. BlackRock’s role has generated more questions than answers, as the Trump administration steers plans for rebuilding Ukraine toward American business interests. Seven European and Ukrainian officials ... voiced doubts about BlackRock’s ability to attract the enormous investments envisioned. The involvement in the talks of a private firm whose main business is to maximize financial returns has reinforced concerns that the Trump administration views Ukraine’s reconstruction as a profit-making opportunity for the U.S. government and American companies, rather than as primarily a humanitarian or security matter. Last year, President Trump pushed for a deal granting the United States a stake in Ukraine’s mineral wealth. In peace talks with Kyiv, the president’s main negotiators have been real estate developers. Note: First, Blackrock buys up government bonds used to finance military spending, meaning it directly profits from the debt created by war itself. Then, after the war, Blackrock is set to profit again — this time from reconstruction contracts, land grabs, and privatization efforts. Read about this and more with our Substack, Working Together To End the War On Peace in Ukraine, which challenges the dominant narrative on the Ukraine war, arguing that US and NATO policies, covert intelligence agency operations, media censorship, and corporate profiteering have fueled the conflict while blocking genuine peace efforts. - New York Times
