The imperiled Democrat congressman is a scumbag at best, and a rapist at worst, but his political fate is no longer in his hands.

Ella Langley Says Morgan Wallen Gave Her Crap For Messing Up The Words To His Song – Until He Messed Up Himself

Ella Langley Says Morgan Wallen Gave Her Crap For Messing Up The Words To His Song – Until He Messed Up Himself

Hey, everybody forgets the lyrics every now and then. I’m always impressed by an artist’s ability to remember the words to all their own songs – much less somebody else’s. But Ella Langley admits that while she was out on tour with Morgan Wallen, she had trouble remembering the lyrics to one of his hits. Ella opened for Morgan on his I’m the Problem Tour last year, and while she was on the road with him Morgan brought Ella out on stage to join him on his #1 hit “What I Want,” which is a duet with Canadian pop star Tate McRae on his I’m the Problem album. The only problem (no pun intended) for Ella, though, was that she had trouble remembering the lyrics. During her recent appearance on This Past Weekend with Theo Von, Ella admitted that the pressure of the moment (and the fact that there are a lot of words in that song) had her nervous to perform it with Morgan: “When I did ‘What I Want’ with Morgan, I messed up the words almost every single time. I’ve never been so nervous to go out and do something. I just felt like I could throw up before I walked out there every time. I just could not remember those words.” Ella says she practiced the song to herself for days, but couldn’t seem to get the words down by the time she took the stage. In fact, she had even shared video of herself writing the lyrics on her hand so she would be able to remember them on stage: @ellalangleymusic1 The rain was an unpaid actor #madisonwi ♬ original sound – Ella Langley And of course the pressure of performing it in a stadium with Morgan Wallen didn’t help: “POV, you go through this tunnel, you know what I mean? And you’re playing in the stadium. It’s the most people you’ve ever been in front of. You’re walking out with Morgan Wallen, everything gets dark and there’s smoke everywhere and you got to walk out and I’m in pointy heels and there’s grates out there so you got to make sure you’re not falling down in those. You get up and then, here you go, you get one shot at it. There’s no practice, too. You get like one rehearsal, you go out there and it’s like, okay. But doing it in front of 80,000 people is different than 2:00 p.m. in the middle of the day.” She admits that Morgan gave her some crap for messing up the lyrics to the song – at least until it he did it too one night while they were performing: “What was awesome is the last time we did it is he came out and messed up the words. When he did that, I started to laugh so hard cause he was giving me so much shit about messing up the words. He was just like, “You can’t come out here and mess this up again.” I was like, “I might. I really am scared that I might.” And so the last night he did and it was like, he just immediately could never say another thing to me about messing up the words, you know.” Ella says that Morgan jokes now that he messed up on purpose to make her feel better, but that looking at him in the moment it was “pure frustration that he could no longer talk shit about me for messing up the words.” Bet Ella was thankful he messed that one up. Fans Suspect Morgan Wallen Shade After Hayley Williams Brings Out Jason Isbell For “Cover Me Up” Duet In New York

Is it another snub at Morgan Wallen or just a coincidence? You be the judge… It’s not secret whatsoever that Hayley Williams, lead singer of 2000s era pop punk band, Paramore, is no fan of Morgan Wallen. In fact, she released an untitled album, which fans have named Ego, that includes a song where she very much comes for Morgan. It has a very unique name titled “Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party (EDAABP),” and while she doesn’t say his name outright, it’s pretty obvious when you read the line about her being the the “biggest star at this racist country singer’s bar.” It’s the very first line in the song: “I’ll be the biggest star at this racist country singer’s bar No use shootin’ for the moon, no use chasing waterfalls I’m the biggest star at this racist country singer’s bar No use shootin’ for the moon, no use chasing waterfalls” During a recent show, she once again brought him up, introducing the aforementioned song to the audience by saying that she “hate[s] Morgan Wallen,” adding she knew it would end up on the internet but she didn’t care: “It was something about being ‘concept neutral,’ and I just thought, ‘What a f***** bad time to be neutral on anything in this world. So shame on them and … marginalized people need allies and protection and support, so… Back home, we have the same s***, you know. and I hate it, because I grew up there, and it was so special and then I got older and I could see, I had different eyes to see it all. And they ruined Broadway… no shade if you want to travel down there and go honk tonkin’. I like that too. But um, I hate Morgan Wallen. Oh no. That’ll be on the internet. F***. Let’s play it.” The crowd loved it, they screamed and clapped when she said that, and I think she obviously knew that would be the reaction… which is why she said it. For some reason, Morgan Wallen lives rent-free in her head, and I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if she’s never even met him. But whether she’s met him or not, her Morgan Wallen Derangement Syndrome is absolutely elite. But this… might be a bit of a reach… During a show in New York City over the weekend, she brought out special guest Jason Isbell to sing “Cover Me Up,” a song Isbell famously wrote for his wife (now ex-wife) Amanda Shires, after he got sober. It was released as the first track on his 2013 landmark album, Southeastern. Morgan Wallen starting covering it around 2019, and at the time, a lot of Morgan Wallen fans didn’t realize it was a cover (even though he introduced it as such multiple times), and it became part of this weird online argument between country music fans. Eventually, Morgan released his cover as a track on his Dangerous: The Double Album record, and filmed a music video aimed at helping veterans struggling with PTSD. Jason actually defended Morgan’s rendition in 2019 by saying he was “cool with it,” though following Wallen’s 2021 racist slur scandal, Isbell spoke out against what Morgan said and announced he would donate all his songwriter royalties from Wallen’s version to the Nashville NAACP. The next year, in 2o22, Isbell mentioned that while Wallen had obviously “f***** up,” but he believed that the prolonged intense backlash was becoming excessive, so I think it’s safe to say he has a pretty nuanced opinion when it comes to Morgan. Then again, all those royalty checks probably make it hard for you to have a bad opinion of the guy… Back to Hayley Williams… Tons of fans on X responded to tweets showing videos of Isbell’s and Williams’ performance, with some saying they thought it was a shot at Morgan, which they loved, and others basically saying it’s embarrassing she continues to try and take shots at Morgan for really no personal reason. It was a decent enough performance, but she seems petty AF, so I would not be surprised at all if she did this as some weird shades towards Morgan, at least in her mind But much more realistically, Williams is from Nashville so I’m sure she likes country music and is a fan of Jason Isbell. Her an Isbell are also both very aligned with their left-wing political beliefs, and both have been very public about them, so it’s no surprise that they are friends. “Cover Me Up” is one of his biggest songs, and perhaps in part thanks to Morgan Wallen, it’s probably one that some of her pop punk fans might actually know… the logical choice for a surprise performance. She also called it a “dream come true” to perform with him after seeing him at the Ryman over a decade ago, but that didn’t stop fans of hers, and Morgan Wallen fans from reading into it. Here’s the performance: @crystalforarmor hayley williams brought out Jason Isbell to perform “cover me up” on night 3 of #EgoDeathinNewYork #hayleywilliams #egodeathatabacheloretteparty #HayleyWilliamsataBachelorettePartytour ♬ som original – bells And here’s some of the responses from X, including both Morgan Wallen fans and Morgan Wallen haters, who think she was clearly sending a middle finger to him with the Isbell duet… even though he wrote the song: This sounds terrible. She’s also really obsessed with Morgan, looking for a response or reaction from him in every way. But he’s busy touring stadiums with 70,000 people, unlike her, who sings in a 1,000-capacity venue. https://t.co/rzQlzTdfh0 — . Cody Johnson Delivers Jaw-Dropping Cover Of The Band Of Heathen’s “Hurricane” At Hondo Rodeo In New Orleans

Chills. After a 2025 that was filled with ups and downs, highlighted primarily by suffering a blown-out eardrum in October and following it up with his first-ever CMA Male Vocalist of the Year award just a month later, Cody Johnson has already gotten off to a hot start in 2026. From a release standpoint, he’s been keeping singles coming early and often, dropping back-to-back Monday morning surprise releases the past two months with a brand new ode to his home state, “Blame Texas,” as well as an incredibly personal cover of Merle Haggard’s 1979 deep cut, “Footlights.” From a touring perspective, he’s hitting the road hard this year. Along with the sprawling, 28-show tour, which recently added the likes of Kip Moore, Clint Black, Randy Houser, Jon Pardi, Carter Faith and more as openers that kicked off back in February, the “Dirt Cheap” singer is also making his largest festival appearance to date, headlining California’s Stagecoach for the first time in his career on April 24th. Johnson has also been scoring some major career accomplishments as well. Not only did he receive four nominations at the upcoming ACM Awards (Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year for “The Fall” and Visual Media for “The Fall”), but he also broke George Strait’s Rodeo Houston’s concert-only attendance record, performing to a crowd of 80,203. View this post on Instagram Over the weekend, he took the momentum down to the Bayou to perform at Hondo Rodeo’s New Orleans stop at Caesar’s Super Dome. In typical CoJo fashion, he delivered a plethora of hits to the New Orleans crowd, performing the likes of “Dirt Cheap,” “Diamond In My Pocket,” “The Fall,” “‘Til You Can’t,” his cover of “Travelin’ Soldier and more. However, it was a never-before-heard cover that quickly went viral over the weekend: The Band of Heathens’ “Hurricane.” In case you’re not familiar with the track, it appeared on the band’s stellar 2011 album, Top Hat Crown & the Clapmaster’s Son, and has remained their signature song to date. Though The Band of Heathens have consistently remained one of the most underrated groups in the alt. country scene for 20 years, “Hurricane” netted the Austin natives their first-ever gold record from the RIAA in 2023. Additionally, it would receive a boost in popularity when fellow Texas powerhouses, Shane Smith & the Saints, covered it in 2018. Unsurprisingly, the “Me and My Kind” singer absolutely crushed the cover. Giving both the Heathens and the Saints a run for their money, Johnson rose to the occasion and delivered what can only be described as a jaw-dropping performance of the track. Fans in the comment section felt the same. Praising his soulful performance of the track and noting that it gave them chills, many would beg for an official release: “COJO can sing the phone book” “and it was LEGIT” “Need this out asap” “Gave me chills” “It was f****** amazing” “Instant chills” It should go without saying at this point that CoJo hasn’t missed on a cover yet, but this one might be his best to date.
