The Alice Cooper Band was one of the most popular glam rock bands of the ’70s, capturing the hearts of fans with their highly energetic performances and hard-hitting sound. Formed by frontman Vincent Furnier (who later had a solo career with stage name Alice Cooper), lead guitarist Glen Buxton, rhythm guitarist and keyboardist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway, and drummer Neal Smith, the band rose to fame with their rebellious image and hits like “School’s Out” and “I’m Eighteen,” releasing six successful albums. Sadly, the band experienced a breakup in 1975. More than five decades after their split, the Alice Cooper band stunned fans with a recent announcement about the reunion of the original members and the release of a brand-new album. The upcoming album marks the band’s first from the original Alice Cooper lineup since their 1973 classic Muscle of Love. Described as a high-voltage journey into vintage horror and classic ’70s shock rock, fans can expect to witness the raw energy and theatrical flair that originally catapulted the group to fame. He explained that despite the long hiatus, the teamwork was seamless, like riding a bicycle effortlessly again. The 77-year-old stated that even though their last album was released in 1973, the band surprisingly took off from where it left off, blending perfectly as though there had never been a break. He further stated that the ease at which the creative process and team effort flowed led to the eventual crafting of yet another masterpiece from the Alice Cooper band.
