DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Another member of a local motorcycle gang, the Thug Riders Motorcycle Club, has learned his sentence as of Wednesday, Oct. 29. Matthew Hawkins, “Hawk”, has been sentenced to three years in prison for his involvement with the motorcycle gang, which faces allegations including murder, arson, assault, and extortion. He pled guilty to two charges back in April: assault with a deadly weapon and serious bodily injury. Hawkins is one of 14 men who were arrested in June 2024 and is the third to be sentenced. Earlier this year, Michael Seth Henry, “Brutal”, from Xenia, was sentenced to two and a half years, and Joseph M. Rader, “Delta”, from Richmond, Kentucky, was sentenced to 15 months.
