Trump’s Energy Policy Just Fueled A $1B Investment In American Power And Jobs

Germany-headquartered Siemens Energy announced on Tuesday a $1 billion investment to strengthen the United States’ power infrastructure. The company is set to expand its manufacturing capabilities in the United States, signaling confidence in America as a hub for energy innovation.  Approximately one-fourth of the United States’ power generation relies on Siemens Energy technology. With rising demand fueled in part by the rapid growth of artificial intelligence, the company is ramping up production and facilities across nine sites in Mississippi, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, New York, and Texas over the next two years. The investment is expected to create 1,500 highly skilled manufacturing jobs.  Siemens Energy CEO Christian Bruch credited the Trump Administration for creating “once-in-a-generation growth opportunity” for the resurgence of United States manufacturing and the expansion of artificial intelligence. He noted the administration’s energy policies “supercharged the energy demand which is supporting new investments across the energy sector.”  Funding from the investment will support a range of projects, including high-voltage switchgear to build out energy grid components in Mississippi, power transformers and gas turbines in North Carolina, gas turbines in Florida, copper production in Alabama, and upgraded facilities in New York and Texas. The move aligns with President Trump’s tariff policies, which incentivize domestic manufacturing. “This tremendous investment in a critical part of our power grid supply chain underscores President Trump’s success in expanding supply chain access and bringing major manufacturing back to America,” said Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum. “We appreciate great partners like Siemens Energy, who proactively partner with the Trump administration for the benefit of the American people, prioritizing critical components to make the United States Energy Dominant.”  Burgum, who chairs the National Energy Dominance Council, worked with Siemens Energy to help bring the investment to fruition.  Siemens Energy highlighted its deep roots in the United States, dating back to the 1880s, when the company supported early electrification projects, and says it now wants to meet energy demands driven by artificial intelligence. The Trump Administration has put a heavy emphasis on winning the AI race through initiatives like Project Vault, which creates a strategic reserve of critical minerals essential for AI chips, and by taking stakes in companies to secure domestic supply chains for semiconductors, rare earth minerals, and nuclear energy. For Siemens Energy, the investment nods both to its long-standing commitment to the United States and a signal of confidence in the country’s energy and technological future.

Billie Eilish’s ‘Stolen Land’ Rant Blows Up As Tongva Tribe Says Her Mansion Sits On Its Land

Billie Eilish’s ‘Stolen Land’ Rant Blows Up As Tongva Tribe Says Her Mansion Sits On Its Land

The Native American tribe whose ancestral land includes Billie Eilish’s Los Angeles mansion has something to say about her Grammys virtue signaling, when the singer declared, “no one is illegal on stolen land.”  “As the First People of the greater Los Angeles basin, we do understand that her home is situated in our ancestral land,” a spokesperson for the Tongva tribe told The Daily Mail, noting that the singer had not yet reached out regarding the ownership rights of her $3 million Hollywood Hills home. “Eilish has not contacted our tribe directly regarding her property… we do value the instance when public figures provide visibility to the true history of this country,” the spokesperson went on. “It is our hope that in future discussions, the tribe can explicitly be referenced to ensure the public understands that the greater Los Angeles Basin remains Gabrieleno Tongva territory.”  The 24-year-old singer has been mocked and called a hypocrite ever since spouting her leftist talking points during the awards show on Sunday night. “As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything, but that no one is illegal on stolen land,” Eilish said from the stage as fellow celebrities cheered and nodded in the crowd. “’F*ck ICE’ is what I wanna say,” she added. Social media commenters have been pointing out the hypocrisy of Eilish’s statements. “You cannot simultaneously believe that (1) all borders are fake and should not be policed, and (2) that land can be ‘stolen.’ This is one of the most braindead beliefs a person can hold,” one person posted on X.  “Oh, gee, this ‘stolen land’ nonsense again? Maybe she should step up and forfeit her Southern California mansion since it is supposedly on ‘stolen land,’” Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis shared. This isn’t the first time Eilish voiced opinions that got her mocked. In November, the singer called Elon Musk a “f*cking pathetic p*ssy b*tch coward” for not giving away more of his money to her preferred causes. “If you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? No hate, but yeah, give your money away, shorties,” she said at the time.

Two Sisters Were Abducted By A Man Who Groomed Them On Roblox

Law enforcement successfully rescued two young sisters reported missing over the weekend and arrested a 19-year-old man accused of grooming and abducting them from their Florida home after contacting the girls through the popular online game Roblox. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as Hser Mu Lah Say from Omaha, Nebraska, saying he allegedly drove nearly 24 hours nonstop to pick up the 12- and 14-year-old girls from their home in Indiantown, Florida. Georgia Highway Patrol located the vehicle several hours after the girls were reported missing and found all three individuals inside. “This was a sobering case for us here at the county sheriff’s office, but we’re thankful with how it ended,” Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said. “They learned through their investigation that the same day, about 9 in the morning, these same two girls had gone to a local park there in Indiantown, had been found by a family member, brought back to their home [and] punished,” he added, noting that this included having their phones taken away. They later contacted the suspect using another device. Authorities say Lah Say had been chatting with the girls for months on Snapchat and Roblox, and allegedly sent them gifts.  “The communication initially started, we believe, and keep in mind we’re going through devices, in the summer of 2025, on a gaming app called Roblox. And from that gaming app, these girls were then moved from Roblox over to Snapchat,” Budensiek said.  The sheriff noted how the family noticed “weird” things in the time leading up to the abduction, such as food being delivered to the house. Law enforcement now believes this was part of the grooming process. The family alerted officers about the existence of the suspect, who was said to have kept “a constant thread of communication” with the girls. Lah Say was charged with two counts of kidnapping and two counts of interference with child custody.  “We talk regularly about the importance of parents and family members being vigilant about grooming and social media platforms and the impact it has on kids,” Budensiek said, per ABC News. “In this case, I think we prevented something disastrous.”  “There is no application online that’s safe,” he added. “If you can communicate with somebody away from your house in the quiet of your own room, it can be a problem. So parents have to be vigilant.”
