Have you noticed that the mainstream media is suddenly full of very alarming stories about H5N1?  When hundreds of millions of birds were dying because of the bird flu, the mainstream media didn’t seem to care very much, and so most people in the general population didn’t seem to care very much.  Then the bird flu started infecting lots of mammals all over the globe, and the mainstream media still didn’t seem to care very much.  But now here we are in the middle of 2024, and the mainstream media has suddenly decided to ramp up the fear level.  Even though there has only been one confirmed human case in the U.S. so far this year, the mainstream media is pumping out article after article about the threat that H5N1 could potentially pose to humanity.  Do they know something that the rest of us do not? It is quite true that if a version of H5N1 comes along that can spread easily from human to human, the death toll could be catastrophic. Are we on the verge of seeing that happen? The New York Times is reporting that H5N1 “has acquired dozens of new mutations”, and apparently some of them “may make it more adept at spreading between species”… The bird flu virus sweeping across dairy farms in multiple states has acquired dozens of new mutations, including some that may make it more adept at spreading between species and less susceptible to antiviral drugs, according to a new study. I don’t like the sound of that at all. Researchers are telling us that the bird flu “acquired mutations in late 2023 that allowed it to jump from wild birds to cattle in the Texas Panhandle”… In the new study, the researchers collected samples containing virus from 26 dairy farms in eight states. Cows are not typically susceptible to this type of influenza, but H5N1 appears to have acquired mutations in late 2023 that allowed it to jump from wild birds to cattle in the Texas Panhandle, the researchers said. The virus then appears to have spread on dairy farms from Texas to Kansas, Michigan and New Mexico. In at least a dozen instances since then, H5N1 has also spilled from cows back into wild birds, and into poultry, domestic cats and a raccoon. This is a very chilling development. In the past, the bird flu would appear for a while and then go away. But for the past couple of years it has been wiping out millions upon millions of birds all over the planet with no end in sight. From this point forward, will H5N1 also be a permanent threat to our cattle population? Needless to say, that could represent a very serious threat to our food supply. Even more alarming is the fact that the strain of H5N1 that a dairy worker in Texas caught reportedly had “a mutation that allowed it to infect people more efficiently”… The only person to have been diagnosed with bird flu during the current outbreak carried a virus with a mutation that allowed it to infect people more efficiently. One cow in the study also carried H5N1 with that mutation. More than 200 others were infected with versions of the virus bearing a different mutation that offers the same advantage. Why are we only learning about this now? And what is going to happen if this mutation which enables H5N1 to “infect people more efficiently” starts spreading among wild animals all over the nation? The New York Times is making it sound like we really could be on the brink of a major outbreak among humans. Thankfully, the dairy worker in Texas that caught this version of the bird flu did not die, but he did experience “bleeding in his eyeballs”… The first image of a Texas farm worker infected with bird flu from a cow shows he suffered bleeding in his eyeballs. It is thought to be the first known case of mammal-to-human transmission and comes as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warned bird flu (H5N1) viruses “pose pandemic potential.” The dairy worker attended a hospital in March after experiencing painful red, weeping eyes with burst blood vessels. Even more disturbing, some of the cats that consumed raw milk from infected dairy cows in Texas experienced “brain hemorrhaging” and “blindness”. Is this new version of H5N1 also able to cause “brain hemorrhaging” and “blindness” in humans? Hopefully authorities will have some answers for us soon. What we do know is that viral fragments are getting into our milk supply. In fact, the FDA discovered that viral fragments were in approximately one out of every five samples of grocery store milk that they tested… Tests by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of retail milk samples might give some indication of how widespread the virus is. The agency found viral fragments in one in five samples of commercial milk, although this virus had been deactivated by pasteurization so was not infectious. The good news is that it appears that the pasteurization process appears to kill the bird flu. But authorities are warning that raw milk could contain the virus… At the moment, scientists are focusing on raw milk as a risk factor for transmission to humans. While H5N1 infections in poultry usually result in respiratory illnesses, in cattle the virus seems to mainly target mammary glands, which might explain the high amount of virus found in raw milk from infected cows. Until we know more, I think that it would be very wise to avoid drinking any raw milk for the foreseeable future. You do not want to get this disease. According to the WHO, since 2003 there have been 888 confirmed human cases. Of those, 463 have died. But as long as humans are only catching this virus from other mammals, we probably will not see a major global outbreak. However, if a strain comes along that can spread easily from human to human, we are going to have a massive problem on our hands and the level of fear that we will witness will be off the charts. I do not know how this particular story will end, but I am entirely convinced that we have entered an era when great pestilences will be very common. So let us hope for the best, but let us also get prepared for the worst. The past several years have demonstrated what fear of a disease can do, and H5N1 has the potential to absolutely dwarf anything that we have experienced up to this point. If you are like most Americans, the cost of living has been going up much faster than your income has been.  Right now, millions of Americans that were once prospering are now deeply struggling.  When I was growing up, most of the population could afford to live “the American Dream”, but now that is no longer true.  At this point, the basics of a middle class lifestyle are out of reach for most Americans.  Poverty and homelessness are steadily rising, and the economy has become the number one issue during this election cycle.  Most of us just want things to go back to the way that they once were, but thanks to the very foolish decisions of our leaders that simply is not possible. According to a brand new report that was just released, it now takes over $100,000 a year for the typical family to live “the American Dream” in all 50 states, and in 29 of those states it actually takes over $150,000 a year… A household would have to spend more than $150,000 a year to live the dream in 29 of the 50 states, according to an analysis published in April by the personal finance site GOBankingRates. According to the report, the optimal American lifestyle would cost $137,842 a year in Ohio, $147,535 in Texas, $159,932 in Florida, $194,067 in New York and $245,723 in California. I had no idea that the cost of living “the American Dream” had gotten that high. Illinois was ranked 26th on that list, and so it provides a pretty good snapshot of what the average U.S. household is facing right now… Median home price: $255,278 Annual childcare costs: $24,174 Annual mortgage costs: $21,401 Car costs: $8,709 Grocery costs: $8,143 Healthcare costs: $7,021 Utilities costs: $5,278 Education costs: $2,475 Pet costs: $1,170 Total annual costs: $78,369 Full cost of the American Dream: $156,739 Did your household bring in at least $150,000 last year? If not, living “the American Dream” would not be possible for you in most states. Needless to say, the vast majority of U.S. households are not bringing in that kind of income. Last December, Investopedia issued a report that concluded that it now takes 3.4 million dollars to live “the American Dream” for an entire lifetime… Another report, released in December by the financial media site Investopedia, estimates what the American Dream costs across an entire lifetime: $3.4 million. That is a staggering sum, Investopedia observes, considering what the average American earns in a lifetime: about $2.3 million. Housing costs are the number one reason why “the American Dream” is now out of reach for most of the U.S. population. During the pandemic, home prices shot up at an absolutely frightening pace… The median sale price for an existing home rose more than 40% between early 2020 and mid-2022, topping out at a seasonal peak just over $400,000, according to the National Association of Realtors. Meanwhile, mortgage rates have risen to very painful levels. The average rate on a 30 year fixed mortgage was sitting at just over 3 percent at the beginning of 2022. Today, it is sitting at more than 7.2 percent… Mortgage rates climbed again this week, exacerbating the home affordability crisis that is stifling the housing market. Freddie Mac’s latest Primary Mortgage Market Survey, released Thursday, showed that the average rate on the benchmark 30-year fixed mortgage jumped to 7.22% this week from 7.17% last week. The average rate on a 30-year loan was 6.39% a year ago. The monthly payment on a 30 year fixed mortgage at 7.2 percent for a $400,000 home would be $2,715 a month. Who can afford that? Some people can. But most of the population cannot. That helps to explain why the percentage of renters that believe that they will someday be able to afford to purchase a home has dropped to an all-time low… The dream of home ownership has gotten even further away for renters, with higher housing costs and elevated interest rates standing in the way of the American housing dream, according to a New York Federal Reserve survey released Monday. The share of renters as of February who possess hopes of “residential mobility,” or the belief from renters that they one day will be able to afford a home, fell to a record low 13.4% in the central bank’s annual housing survey for 2024. That’s down from 15% in 2023 and well off the 20.8% series high back in 2014. If they work hard and do the right things, most Americans just want to be able to provide a nice life for themselves and their families. But during the Biden years that has become increasingly difficult to do. As a result, the amount of confidence that the American people have in Joe Biden has plummeted… In a Gallup poll published on Monday, only 38% of Americans said they still had confidence in Biden to lead the country and do the right thing for America’s economy. This figure is among the lowest Gallup has measured for any president since George W. Bush took office in 2001, Gallup reported. “With Americans less optimistic about the state of the U.S. economy than they have been in recent months and concern about inflation persisting, their confidence in President Joe Biden to recommend or do the right thing for the economy is among the lowest Gallup has measured for any president since 2001,” Gallup reported. The current low for Biden continues a substantial fall from when he first took office. As recently as 2022, the same poll found Biden’s confidence ratings were at 57%. It swiftly fell to 40% and has remained below that mark since. I believe that this is going to be a very tumultuous election season. And I am convinced that we will see even more chaos after the election than we will before it. The American people desperately want change. But instead, things just continue to get even worse month after month. Decades of very foolish decisions have brought us to this point, and trying to turn this ship around is not going to be easy. There is a lot of speculation that historic events that people have been anticipating for more than 2,000 years are about to happen in our time.  About a month ago, there was a lot of discussion on the Internet about whether or not the sacrifice of the tenth red heifer would take place during the Passover season, and obviously that did not happen.  However, I am entirely convinced that a red heifer sacrifice is eventually coming.  But if you think that the sacrifice of the tenth red heifer will be big, the truth is that the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant will be even more important. I will get to that later in this article, but first I wanted to talk a bit about the upcoming red heifer sacrifice. According to the Temple Institute, a red heifer cannot be used in such a sacrifice until its third year has begun… As for the time the red heifer may be used for this commandment –  the Sages state that it is valid when it reaches maturity, i.e. from the beginning of its third year. [13] From this age and onward the red heifer is valid without age limitations. Though, ideally, one should not wait till it passes the age of four, lest it grows hairs of colors that deem it invalid. [14] The red heifers that were brought over from Texas in 2022 are now old enough to qualify. And every day that passes, there is a risk that they will grow hairs that are not red and be disqualified. So the clock is ticking. Those involved in this project have already spent more than a half million dollars, and if all of the heifers they brought over end up being disqualified they will have to go back to square one. I think that they would like to conduct a red heifer sacrifice during this current year on the Hebrew calendar, and we shall see if they are able to pull that off or not. But even if a red heifer is sacrificed, that does not mean that a Temple will be built right away. In fact, we have been repeatedly told that sacrifices could potentially begin long before a new Temple is constructed.  For example, the following comes directly from the official website of the Temple Institute… No, the Temple Institute is not building the Temple offsite. We are building a stone altar offsite so that when the opportunity arrives we can move it to its proper location on the Mount. The Divine service, including the offerings can begin before the building of the Temple itself, once the altar is built and standing in its proper place. I believe that the Temple Institute intends to start conducting sacrifices and offerings very shortly after priests are made ritually clean by the ashes of a red heifer. And that will cause a major stir. Interestingly, according to Jewish tradition the sacrifice of the tenth red heifer is going to coincide with the Messianic age… In recounting this historical record in his commentary to the Mishna, the great Maimonides ends with the enigmatic statement: “… and the tenth red heifer will be accomplished by the king, the Messiah; may he be revealed speedily, Amen, May it be G-d’s will.” With this amazing statement, Maimonides recounts an ancient tradition – that the tenth red heifer is associated with the Messianic era. Does this perhaps mean that the appearance of a red heifer in these waning end times is an indication, a forerunner of the appearance of the Messiah himself, who will officiate at its preparation? If there has been no red heifer for the past 2,000 years, perhaps it is because the time was not right; Israel was far from being ready. But now… what could it mean for the times we live in, to have the means for purification so close at hand? With the words of Maimonides in mind, we cannot help but wonder and pray: If there are now red heifers… is ours the era that will need them? So I find it quite noteworthy that we could see the tenth red heifer sacrificed very close to the end of the sixth millennium of human history as we await the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. But I believe that an event even bigger than the sacrifice of the tenth red heifer is coming. When the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant is finally announced, it will be the biggest archaeological bombshell in all of human history. On the official website of the Temple Institute, they publicly acknowledge that they know exactly where it is located… While some claim to have evidence that the ark is in Ethiopia, and of course, moviegoers were treated to a fanciful version of the story in “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” in reality, the expression “lost” ark is not an accurate description for the Jewish people’s point of view – because we have always known exactly where it is. So the Ark is “Hidden,” and hidden quite well, but it is not lost. Tradition records that even as King Solomon built the First Temple, he already knew, through Divine inspiration, that eventually it would be destroyed. Thus Solomon, the wisest of all men, oversaw the construction of a vast system of labyrinths, mazes, chambers and corridors underneath the Temple Mount complex. He commanded that a special place be built in the bowels of the earth, where the sacred vessels of the Temple could be hidden in case of approaching danger. Midrashic tradition teaches that King Josiah of Israel, who lived about forty years before the destruction of the First Temple, commanded the Levites to hide the Ark, together with the original menorah and several other items*, in this secret hiding place which Solomon had prepared. This location is recorded in our sources, and today, there are those who know exactly where this chamber is. And we know that the ark is still there, undisturbed, and waiting for the day when it will be revealed. An attempt was made some few years ago to excavate towards the direction of this chamber. This resulted in widespread Moslem unrest and rioting. They stand a great deal to lose if the Ark is revealed – for it will prove to the whole world that there really was a Holy Temple, and thus, that the Jews really do have a claim to the Temple Mount. (The official position of the Islamic Wakf, the body that governs over the Temple Mount, is that there never was a Holy Temple, and that the Jews have no rights whatsoever to the place). When the Ark is revealed to the whole world, it will completely shock the entire planet. During a recent show, Glenn Beck speculated about what might happen once everyone gets to see the Ark… Well, it still exists. And this is just my opinion. That’s all it is, just an opinion. I tend to believe that if it does exist, and it’s going to be revealed. Then it probably will coincide with the Messianic age, with the Messiah’s return. And I think that would probably be more likely. But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t people who would be very, very excited to be — to have an opportunity. To find it, look for it. And if they could, bring it out. And that would cause World War III, most likely. There are a lot of “scholars” out there that believe that Moses never existed. And there are a lot of “scholars” out there that believe that either the Ark of the Covenant never existed or that it was just a very simple box or basket. Once the Ark of the Covenant is unveiled, it will “confirm” that Moses and the Ark of the Covenant really existed just like the Bible says. And it will also “confirm” that God really did make a covenant with the people of Israel at Mt. Sinai. In recent years we have literally seen millions of Americans relocate from blue states to red states.  In some cases, there is simply a desire to be around other like-minded people.  In other cases, specific political policies that have been enacted in certain states have motivated large numbers of people to relocate.  This was particularly true during the pandemic.  Of course there are also many that are just trying to escape the crime, drugs, homelessness and violence that are plaguing so many major cities in blue states.  For those that are trying to raise a family, finding a safe environment for their children is often of the utmost importance.  As a result of the factors that I have just mentioned, we have been witnessing a “mass exodus” to “Red America” that is unlike anything we have ever seen before.  Vast numbers of people have been moving from blue states such as California, New York and Illinois to red states such as Florida, Idaho and Montana… More and more Americans are moving from Democratic-leaning blue states to Republican-voting red ones, and one of the effects of this change is that they are relocating to places with lower life expectancy. Idaho, Montana and Florida, all red states, had the greatest population growth among U.S. states between 2020 and 2022. Meanwhile, New York and Illinois, both blue states, and Louisiana, a red state, suffered the biggest population losses. California, another blue state, has experienced significant recent population loss as well. One key reason for this migration is the high cost of living in places like New York and California, compared with the lower cost of living in red states such as Georgia or Indiana. The nationwide realignment that has been taking place is truly remarkable. According to economist Stephen Moore, approximately 5 million people have migrated out of Illinois, New York, California and New Jersey during that past 10 years… A lot has been reported about celebrities like Joe Rogan moving out of California in recent years. However, economist Stephen Moore says there’s a much broader trend here. During a recent interview with Fox Business, Moore claimed that over the last 10 years, about five million people have left the so-called “blue states” Illinois, New York, California and New Jersey. “This is one of the biggest mass migrations in American history,” he said. He is right. This really is one of the largest mass migrations in our entire history. The red state that has gained the most from all of this domestic migration is Florida… Among large states (those with a population above the 50-state average), the net-domestic-migration winner over the 13-quarter period after Covid-19’s arrival was Florida. The Sunshine State added a net tally of 819,000 Americans over that span. To put that into perspective, in just three years and change, Florida added more people from net domestic migration than the combined populations of Miami and Orlando. The large-state runner-up: Texas. It added 80 percent as many people as Florida (656,000). The state that lost the most was California, which shed 1.2 million people through net domestic outmigration—the rough equivalent of San Francisco and Oakland’s combined populations. The runner-up loser was New York, which lost about three-quarters as many people as California. Not too long ago, Florida was considered to be a “swing state” that was divided almost equally between Democrats and Republicans. But now it is solidly red. Many conservatives are attracted to the Sunshine State because there is no state income tax. Of course the spectacular weather doesn’t hurt either. According to a real estate company known as “Conservative Move”, large numbers of conservatives have also been relocating to South Carolina… Conservative Move, a real-estate company with about 500 agents across the country, helps conservatives find homes near like-minded people — and South Carolina is becoming a big draw. The group’s founder, Paul Chabot, told Business Insider that while Texas and Florida consistently rank among the top locations his conservative clients choose to move to, he’s seen a big spike in the number of people who want to relocate to South Carolina in the past two years. He said his company currently has about 5,000 clients who are considering moving to the state soon. Many of his clients are coming from places like California, Washington state, and Oregon, he said. I really like South Carolina. In fact, in my latest book I ranked it number 3 out of all 50 states. I would just recommend staying away from the coast and the major population centers. In addition to a mass migration from blue state to red states, we are also seeing lots of people relocate to small towns and rural communities… The remote work boom that prompted Americans to flee urban areas for mountain hamlets and seaside towns during the pandemic continued at least through last year, according to University of Virginia demographer Hamilton Lombard. An estimated 291,400 people last year migrated from other areas into America’s small towns and rural areas, which Lombard defines as metropolitan areas with 250,000 people or fewer. Mid-size cities are also growing, but meanwhile large cities are bleeding residents at a rapid pace… Areas with 250,000 to 1 million people saw a net in-migration of 266,448 people last year, while areas with 1 million to 4 million people recorded only a modest gain. Areas with more than 4 million people were the big losers, shedding almost 600,000 people last year, according to Lombard’s research using US Census Bureau data. These days there is such a hunger for a high quality of life, and most of the core urban areas in our blue states do not have that to offer at this point. Sean Hannity is one of those that has migrated to a red state from a large city in a blue state, and he sounds absolutely thrilled to have made the move… Sean Hannity, the prominent Fox News personality, has made the decision to sell his expansive Long Island property for $13.75 million — mere months after revealing his relocation plans from New York to Florida. In a notable shift, Hannity disclosed earlier this year that he would be broadcasting his renowned radio show, “The Sean Hannity Show,” as well as his television program, “Hannity,” from studios in West Palm Beach. “We are now beginning our first broadcast from my new home, and that is in the free state of Florida,” Hannity announced on his iHeartRadio show. “I am out. I am done. I’m finished.” Good for him. But there is no place that is perfect, and the truth is that our country as a whole is very rapidly heading in the wrong direction. So the reality of the matter is that ultimately there will be no hiding from our growing national problems. If we do not find a way to turn things around, our red states will eventually become just like our blue states. Unfortunately, the clock is ticking and time is quickly slipping away.
