Wild reports are starting to come out alleging that aides of Elon Musk have locked a cadre of federal employees out of computer systems which they normally would have access to. The systems in questions are blocks of data containing personal information of millions of federal workers. Senior career employees at OPM have had access revoked to the department’s data systems, according to a story by CNBC: Aides to Elon Musk charged with running the U.S. government human resources agency have locked career civil servants out of computer systems that contain the personal data of millions of federal employees, according to two agency officials. Since taking office 11 days ago, President Donald Trump has embarked on a massive government makeover, firing and sidelining hundreds of civil servants in his first steps toward downsizing the bureaucracy and installing more loyalists. The two officials, who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity for fear of retaliation, said some senior career employees at OPM have had their access revoked to some of the department’s data systems. The systems include a vast database called Enterprise Human Resources Integration, which contains dates of birth, Social Security numbers, appraisals, home addresses, pay grades and length of service of government workers, the officials said. Officials affected by the move can still log on and access functions such as email but can no longer see the massive datasets that cover every facet of the federal workforce. A team including current and former employees of Musk assumed command of OPM on Jan. 20, the day Trump took office. They have moved sofa beds onto the fifth floor of the agency’s headquarters, which contains the director’s office and can only be accessed with a security badge or a security escort, one of the OPM employees said. The sofa beds have been installed so the team can work around the clock, the employee said. Musk, a major donor to a famously demanding boss, installed beds at X for employees to enable them to work longer when in 2022 he took over the social media platform, formerly known as Twitter. “It feels like a hostile takeover,” the employee said. The new appointees in charge of OPM have moved the agency’s chief management officer, Katie Malague, out of her office and to a new office on a different floor, the officials said. Malague did not respond to a request for comment. As usual, the mainstream media is playing their role to the hilt. Panic-stricken and morose, the average news outlet is painting the picture of a tech-tyrant swooping in and consolidating power for himself. The reality somewhat different, considering that President Trump ran his campaign almost entirely on the promise to completely shake-up and “fix” the current state of corruption, waste, and bureaucracy that has left the United States reeling and vulnerable. Whereas democrats and their media arms are crying foul over Musk’s consolidation of power to himself, what is actually happening is a de-consolidation of illigitimate power. Elon simply happens to be the trusted person imbued with authority from the one whom the American people actually tasked to make these changes — President Trump. They don’t expect President Trump to gut the FBI like he promised to do.  They don’t expect him to rollback DEI hiring practices like he promised to do. And they certainly don’t expect him to take the bull by the horns and WRESTLE the illegitimate power of the Deep State from their trans-feminine hands (I don’t even know what that phrase would mean – I just made it up! But… isn’t that the point?), and replace both REALITY and the CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED back in the driver’s seat of American on all levels. But… he’s doing it. And whether it be through Elon Musk, RFK Jr, or Kash Patel — that is the primary fixture of all that is coloring Trump Administration 2.0 in their opening salvo of the war on Deep State hegemony. It really doesn’t matter by whom or which mechanism the changes come. The fact is, changes are coming.  And those who willingly pushed, or neglectfully allowed this country to get so close to the precipice that it because questionable if we could stop the slide in time… those people have no place in President Trump’s administration, or in the government that Trump will rebuild. He has a mandate, and he is using it in a way that directly reflects the will of the American people. And if it just so happens that he has found a method of carrying out the will of the people that irritates the democrats, RINOs, legacy media, and lawfare lawyers to no end… all the better.

It is being reported that another plane crash has occurred, this time in Philadelphia. According to video and reports from the scene, a massive explosion erupted following the impact. The plane apparently hit a row of houses near a mall with reports of injuries already coming out of the incident. It happened near Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard just after 6 p.m. Friday. According to the FAA, a Learjet 55 departed from Northeast Philadelphia Airport en route to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri when it went down. “It was just horrific. I was just driving down the street, coming to Wendy’s and I just saw a plane basically hit the building and it exploded. The sky light up and I pulled over and basically it was just real bad around here,” said one witness, who described the incident as “Earthquakish. “It lit up the whole sky,” he added. The plane was a Learjet 55 headed from Philadelphia to Springfield. It apparently crashed in the vicinity of the Roosevelt Mall moments after taking off, at approximately 6:07PM local time, according to a report from CBS News: Emergency crews are responding to an explosion in Northeast Philadelphia after a small medical jet crashed in the area of Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue, Philadephia police confirmed to CBS News Philadelphia. The plane, a Learjet 55, was going from Philadelphia to Springfield, Missouri, leaving the Northeast Philadelphia Airport when tragedy struck. The plane crashed into a neighborhood outside the Roosevelt Mall just moments after leaving the airstrip at around 6:07 p.m. The first call went out to officials at 6:12 p.m. Emergency crews are currently battling the fire and attempting to assist those injured in the crash. =============================== UPDATE: 1/31/25 – 8:05 CST: According to Nick Sortor who widely broke the news of the crash on social media, the plane was a medical jet transporting a pediatric patient.  Sortor cites the operator of the Jet Air Ambulance service. #BREAKING: The medical jet which crashed in Philly was transporting a pediatric patient, per the operator Jet Air Ambulance No survivors are expected. The purge at the Department of Justice’s headquarters started up last week, with senior lawyers being reassigned to a task force dealing with immigration-related issues, according to a report by CNN: According to communications obtained by CNN, more than a dozen prosecutors who worked on January 6 cases had their employment terminated by the Justice Department Friday. The Trump purge at DOJ’s main headquarters began last week – within minutes of the new interim leaders being sworn in – as some senior career lawyers were notified that they were being reassigned to a task force focused to immigration-related issues and so-called sanctuary cities, jurisdictions that generally decline to assist federal deportation efforts. The reassignment is widely viewed as an effort to force out senior career officials, some of whom have since resigned. Emails sent by James McHenry, the acting attorney general, to those being ousted from their jobs have included language that reads: “Given your significant role in prosecuting the President, I do not believe that the leadership of the Department can trust you to assist in implementing the President’s agenda faithfully.” And at the FBI, at least six senior FBI leaders have been ordered to retire, resign or be fired by Monday, sources briefed on the matter have told CNN. Sundberg joined the FBI in 2002 and was put in charge of the DC field office that same year by then-FBI Director Wray, according to a report from NBC News: David Sundberg, the assistant director in charge of the FBI Washington Field Office, was notified Thursday that he was going to lose his job and is preparing to leave the bureau, according to two senior law enforcement sources — the latest step in an unprecedented purge of top executives at FBI headquarters as well as leadership in FBI field offices across the country. Sundberg is the highest-ranking field agent so far to be fired from the FBI in Trump’s second term. Sundberg, who joined the FBI in 2002, was put in charge of the Washington Field Office by then-FBI Director Christopher Wray in December 2022. It is one of the highest-profile positions an agent can achieve in the field at the FBI. Special agents from the Washington Field Office were heavily involved in former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigations of now-President Donald Trump, as well as the sprawling investigation into the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol that resulted in criminal charges against hundreds. Sundberg was in charge of nearly 1,600 employees at the Washington Field Office, leading FBI operations across Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia, including high-profile cases involving terrorism and public corruption, like the Trump investigations. Rogers, who worked as a senior adviser in the Fed’s division of international finance from 2010 until 2021, allegedly shared confidential information with Chinese co-conspirators. He is charged with conspiracy to commit economic espionage and with making false statements. The U.S. Justice Department released the information on its website, indicating that Rogers allegedly made false statements impacting the investigation. That sounds like he didn’t just spy, but he engaged in obstruction after the fact in order to hide it once an investigation was underway. In furtherance of the conspiracy, Rogers allegedly made false statements to the Federal Reserve Board Office of Inspector General, and those false statements had a material impact on its investigation. The indictment, unsealed today, was announced by U.S. Attorney Edward R. Martin, Jr.,  Supervisory Official Devin DeBacker of the Justice Department’s National Security Division, FBI Assistant Director in Charge David Sundberg of the Washington Field Office, and John T. Perez, Special Agent in Charge, Headquarters Operations, Office of Inspector General for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (FRB-CFPB OIG). According to the indictment, Rogers, a U.S. citizen with a Ph.D. in Economics, worked as a Senior Adviser in the Division of International Finance of the FRB from 2010 until 2021, where he was entrusted with confidential FRB information. The confidential information that Rogers allegedly shared with his Chinese co-conspirators, who worked for the intelligence and security apparatus of China and who posed as graduate students at a PRC university, is economically valuable when secret. Rogers is facing up to 15 years in jail for his alleged crimes. He allegedly solicited confidential info — including sensitive economic information concerning interest rate deliberations — in 2018, according to a story in US News & World Report: A judge ordered Rogers to be held until a detention hearing next Tuesday, according to a U.S. Attorney’s office spokesperson. The Fed’s international finance division is responsible for basic research, policy analysis, and reporting in the areas of foreign economic activity, U.S. external trade and capital flows, and developments in international financial markets and institutions, according to the U.S. central bank’s website. Starting in 2018, Rogers allegedly began soliciting confidential information including economic data and sensitive information about interest-rate deliberations, and then passed it on to co-conspirators while pretending to teach classes in China, according to the indictment. Rogers received payments for airfare, lodging and dining during his travel to China, and was offered a payment for a beach vacation, the indictment said. He is charged with conspiracy to commit economic espionage and with making false statements.
