Somali Leaders Endorse DJT & JD Vance in a Very American Way

Somali leaders in Minnesota endorsed Donald Trump and JD Vance for his stance on peace, education, and family values. They also care about economic issues and inflation. The community has come together and fully supports Donald J. Trump for President. It’s wonderful to hear they support the same values as most Americans. Peanut The Squirrel Isn’t The First Defenseless Animal Democrats Killed

Democrat-led New York State came under fire Saturday following the state killing of beloved social media sensation Peanut the Squirrel, The Daily Wire reported. And while Peanut’s death may be shocking, it shouldn’t be surprising — Democrats have a history of animal cruelty. In 2022, Capitol Police euthanized a wild fox affectionately — though unoriginally — nicknamed “Capitol Fox.” The Capitol Fox quickly became a viral sensation, with reporters jostling for a sight of the vixen, and even asking Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) if he had seen the creature. But after the Capitol Fox allegedly attacked Democrat Rep. Ami Bera (CA) and POLITICO reporter Ximena Bustillo, Capitol Police killed the fox along with her three children. After the alleged “incident,” Bera shared a photo of himself smiling and holding up a picture of the fox, and expressed his wishes that the fox “and its family are safely relocated and wishing it a happy and prosperous future.” Thanks everyone for the well wishes! I feel healthy and am glad to be back at work. Despite the dustup, I hold no grudge or ill will against @thecapitolfox. Hoping the ? and its family are safely relocated and wishing it a happy and prosperous future. https://t.co/ys9aifa2MN — Ami Bera, M.D. (@RepBera) April 6, 2022 As of this writing, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) has not commented on Peanut’s untimely demise. But she is not the first New York Democrat on whose watch harm has befallen famous creatures. In 2014, then-New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio infamously dropped Charlotte the Groundhog at a Groundhog Day ceremony in the city. Asked by The Guardian about the incident years later, de Blasio attempted to pass the buck. Everyone acting like it’s a mystery where the duck is when we all damn well know. That 9 ft tall monstrosity de Blasio cracked its neck and spiked it on the ground the same way he did to the groundhog. pic.twitter.com/WLxdFjC6Lu — Comfortably Smug (@ComfortablySmug) November 8, 2018 “It was idiocy. Why would you want an elected official to hold a groundhog?” de Blasio said. “I don’t know anything about holding groundhogs. So the whole thing is just insane.” Nor are elected Democrats the only people on the Left with poor animal track records. Activist Sean King spent over $40,000 of donor funds to purchase a thoroughbred guard dog, the Washington Free Beacon reported, only to return the dog to the breeder.

Peanut The Squirrel Never Hurt Anyone. That’s More Than You Can Say About Biden’s Dogs.

Peanut, an orphaned squirrel who became a social media sensation after being rescued by a New York couple, was euthanized by the State of New York this week. His crime? Being a squirrel. “Peanut was an indoor squirrel, not harming anybody,” Mark Longo, one of Peanut’s owners, told TMZ on Friday. “He’s been with us for seven years. Not a single complaint was ever filed,” he added. You can’t say the same about President Joe Biden’s German Shepherds, Major and Commander, whose history of attacking innocent bystanders has long cast a pall over the White House. Major, the older of the dogs, “attacked” a Secret Service agent “unprovoked” in 2021, CNN reported. That incident “caused a breach of trust” between the Bidens and the Secret Service, according to the CNN report. Major was sent permanently back to Delaware in May 2021, shortly after the incident. But that was only the beginning. In December 2021, the Bidens welcomed Commander to the White House. That’s when the trouble began. As of February 2024, Commander had bitten Secret Service personnel in at least 24 separate incidents, CNN reported. Commander reportedly bit seven people in a four-month stretch of 2023 alone. Biden reportedly witnessed several of Commander’s attacks himself, according to documents obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act request. The document also revealed that Secret Service agents would wish each other a “safe shift” before heading to work with Biden and the dog. Commander reportedly bit one agent so hard, he had to go to the hospital. “The View” host Whoopi Goldberg attempted to laugh off Commander’s attacks in February, The Daily Wire reported. Goldberg joked that perhaps Commander was able to “see” something “that nobody else saw.” But Commander is so violent, even liberal media outlets have begun to draw attention to the problem. Days after Goldberg’s comments, Slate published an article headlined “How Is Joe Biden’s Dog Not Dead Yet?” “Aggressive dogs have been put down for far, far less,” the piece notes. Aggressive dogs, yes. But also, as we now know, peaceful squirrels.

Peanut The Squirrel Sets X On Fire As Tributes And Memes Flood The Zone

New York State officials poked a virtual hornet’s nest when they confiscated and euthanized internet sensation Peanut the squirrel and a raccoon named Fred that was also rescued and kept as a pet. Mark and Daniela Longo, Peanut’s owners, told TMZ that state officials had raided their home as if they were “drug dealers” and had taken both the squirrel and the raccoon — which they had rescued and kept in their home — and euthanized them. “It not only tears my family apart, but Peanut was the cornerstone of our non-profit animal rescue,” Longo said. “And ten to twelve DEC officers raided my house as if I was a drug dealer. I sat outside my house for five hours. I had to get a police escort to my bathroom. I wasn’t even allowed to feed my rescue horses breakfast or lunch. I sat there like a criminal after they interrogated my wife to check her immigration status.” Video of their plight quickly went viral, sparking reactions from animal lovers everywhere and inspiring a number of tribute memes dedicated to the two small mammals. “Reagan” actor Trevor Donovan, well known on X for his love for animals, posted, “This is heartbreaking and infuriating. It’s hard to believe that New York officials would go to such extremes over a cute little squirrel. This situation makes you question what’s happening to compassion and common sense in our laws.” This is heartbreaking and infuriating. The Democrats went too far this time. They raided this man because a hater reported them for having these pets. New York stole the animals and KILLED them. This is the Democrat Party,” Robby Starbuck posted. Make sure everyone you know hears the story of Peanut the squirrel and Fred the raccoon. The Democrats went too far this time. 130 Tremors in 10 Days: Scientists Warn of Possible Major Earthquake

Since October 9, seismologists have recorded a surge of more than 100 tremors clustered in a single area. In a seismic burst, Death Valley has experienced 130 earthquakes since October 9, a spike that has scientists on edge. Experts warn these tremors may signal a much larger earthquake looming, according to the Daily Mail. The first tremors were detected in Death Valley, California, on October 9. Since then, the region has experienced a total of 130 quakes, with the most significant occurring on October 25, registering magnitudes of 4.7 and 4.5, reports Elizabeth Cochran, a geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey. Despite the series of shocks, there has been no reported damage to Death Valley National Park or surrounding communities. However, the intensity and frequency of these tremors have scientists concerned about the possibility of a major earthquake soon. While clusters of quakes—known as “swarms”—are not uncommon, they do cause alarm when they occur along the highly active Death Valley fault system, known for producing earthquakes of up to magnitude 7. Kristi Rowe, director of the Nevada Seismological Laboratory at the University of Nevada, Reno, notes that she and her team are monitoring these tremors closely due to their potential impact on the Las Vegas Valley. Activity spiked significantly on October 25, when a 4.2-magnitude earthquake shook the area. This was quickly followed by the strongest quake so far, a 4.7-magnitude tremor, and another sizable 4.5-magnitude quake later that day. Rowe states that earthquake swarms are common in Nevada, but the frequency and intensity of this swarm have scientists concerned that larger quakes could follow. Death Valley has a history of significant seismic events, including a 7.1-magnitude quake in 2019 that left a large fissure in California’s desert. The most powerful quake in the last 20 years in the area was a magnitude 6.4, which triggered 28 additional quakes of 4.5 or higher over the following days. Death Valley sits atop three major fault lines: Northern Death Valley Fault Zone (NDVFZ) Black Mountain Fracture Zone (BMFZ) South Death Valley Fault Zone (SDVFZ) Clusters of earthquakes in California frequently renew concerns about the “Big One,” a hypothetical large-magnitude earthquake that experts warn could strike along the San Andreas Fault at any time. NBC Admits Pro-Lifers Aren't Banning Birth Control, Fearmongers Anyway

The media fearmongering about pro-lifers is nothing new. Admitting the fears are false, but fearmongering anyway is something different. Yet, that is exactly what NBC’s Dasha Burns did on Friday’s edition of Nightly News as she traveled to Missouri ahead of that state’s upcoming abortion ballot measure. Host Lester Holt introduced Burns’s segment by declaring, “the issue of contraceptive deserts, places where many women don't have enough access to birth control. According to a reproductive rights nonprofit, more than 19 million women are affected, just as millions of Americans vote on access to contraception.”     The segment sought to answer whose fault that is, and right away Burns said there is nothing to suggest pro-life laws have anything to do with it, “In the months after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Maggie Oliva went to the pharmacy to pick up her birth control prescription… Maggie, who now works for a grassroots reproductive rights group in St. Louis, says the pharmacist denied her prescription because they were unsure if it was legal, which it was.” Instead of asking the liberal activist why her movement keeps fearmongering, Burns instead asked, “How does that experience sit with you today?” Olivia claimed, “It feels infuriating. I definitely felt like I was doing something wrong.” Burns then tried to tie the issue to abortion, “Two months later she got pregnant and crossed state lines to get an abortion... Family planning experts say since the near-total abortion ban in Missouri, women have been facing mounting barriers to accessing contraception.” But Burns just said it is legal, so maybe pro-life laws aren’t the problem. However, still trying to force a narrative, Burns then turned to Missouri Family Health Council Executive Director Michelle Trupiano, who declared, “Politicians purposefully conflate abortion and birth control. Our polling shows almost 30 percent of Missourians don't believe or don't know that all forms of birth control are legal.” Trupiano isn’t wrong, but it is the liberal politicians she supports who do that. Conservative politicians are always making it clear that they aren’t coming to contraception. Burns surely knows this true as she turned to State Sen. Denny Hoskins, “That confusion, a strained healthcare system, and contraceptive deserts covering much of Missouri makes accessing birth control more challenging.” Hoskins, however, rebutted, “You say there's contraception deserts, I guess, I would say I respectfully disagree.” While Burns lobbed the “how do you feel” kind of questions to liberal activists, in her questioning of the Republican, she used liberal logical that says if something is not subsidized by taxpayer money, it is being curtailed, “But, didn't the state specifically take action to not support funding for contraception?” Hoskins, who earlier claimed “They do have adequate access to contraception in Missouri,” pointed out, “We did. We did, most certainly. I don't think it should be paid for by taxpayer dollars.” Towards the end of the segment, Burns warned, “Six in ten women in Missouri are concerned about passing laws that limit access to birth control.” Nurse Kate Wagner replied, “Some of our patients would, you know, show up and they would say, ‘My device is due to be replaced next year, but I want to go ahead and have it replaced sooner than that, because I'm worried about, you know, the politics changing.’” She was followed by Olivia, who recalled, “I remember somebody called the office and asked if she needed to rip out the IUD herself. She was so scared.” And what did they say in return? Burns herself said birth control is legal and Hoskins gave absolutely no reason to believe “politics changing” will change that. Instead of allowing abortion activists to prey on people’s fears for votes, Burns should’ve asked them why certain doctors and pharmacists are incapable of reading the laws that actually exist. Here is a transcript for the November 1 show: NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt 11/1/2024 7:10 PM ET LESTER HOLT: Also tonight, the issue of contraceptive deserts, places where many women don't have enough access to birth control. According to a reproductive rights nonprofit, more than 19 million women are affected, just as millions of Americans vote on access to contraception. Here is Dasha Burns. We did, most certainly. I don't think it should be paid for by taxpayer dollars.
